Različne oblike nestrpnosti, ki so jim bili letos priča naši zamejci na avstrijskem Koroškem, od razvpite policijske racije na Peršmanovi domačiji do mazanja dvojezičnih tabel, še vedno niso dočakale pravega razpleta. V delu Leglo zla spregovori novinarka, mama, predvsem pa Sara, ki dejanja, zaradi katerih so ugasnila premnoga življenja, sooča z lastno ranljivostjo. Med spomini na hladnokrvne morilce Sara Volčič razmišlja tudi o svoji preteklosti. Pove, da njena hči knjige ni zmogla prebrati do konca – ni lahko sprejeti podobe mame, ki ni (bila) vsakokrat popolna, vedra, preudarna, močna. O marsičem je spregovorila prvič; pisanje, pravi, ima zanjo terapevtski učinek. Prvenec, v katerem si vzajemno sledita njeno intimno in poklicno življenje, te dni praznuje prvo leto med bralci. »Najtežje je poslušati svoje misli, ker so kritične, ker so realne in ker so edine,« ji je dejal eden od zapornikov. Kdo ve, morda naju je poslušal – v nekaterih celicah so dovoljeni radijski sprejemniki. In tam, pove Sara, lahko prebiva tudi ljubezen.

Suivons le rythme du troupeau et le calendrier des montagnes, dans les hauts plateaux bulgares, avec une écrivaine de l'expérience et du grand dehors.  Il y a quatre ans déjà, à l'occasion du Prix Nicolas Bouvier que lui avait décerné, en 2020, le Festival Étonnants Voyageurs de Saint-Malo en France, on avait reçu la poétesse et écrivaine de non fiction, d'origine bulgare, installée en Ecosse: Kapka Kassabova. Autour de ses deux premiers ouvrages : «Lisières» et «L'écho du Lac», mêlant voyage et érudition, poésie et immersion, sillonnant ses terres natales à chaque fois, dans les Balkans. Et après «Elixir», son troisième opus placé dans la vallée reculée de la Mesta, voilà Kapka partie à la rencontre des derniers éleveurs nomades des Monts du Pirin, en Bulgarie, situés non loin de la Mesta… Dans «Anima», ce quatrième récit entre éloge et élégie du monde pastoral, on croise un peuple nomade millénaire «les Karakachans», Kamen, l'homme au nom de pierre, Sasho, «le berger aux yeux décolorés par la tristesse et l'alcool», Marina, la biologiste qui appelle les loups, les plus vieux moutons du monde, des chiens de garde nobles et résistants et des paysages de montagne qui vous étreignent et vous retiennent.  Anima, c'est l'âme en latin. Elle leur apparaissait sous forme de souffle, de brume ou de vent. Et c'est ce souffle du vivant, la force du lien entre humains et non-humains, que vient capter Kapka sur près de cinq cents pages, au moyen d'un récit puissant, à l'occasion d'une estive parmi six cents moutons, en immersion ; car comme le dit Kapka «ce ne sont pas les grandes idées qui changent le monde mais l'expérience et le vécu des lieux et des gens…». Od jutra je bilo v napadih izraelske vojske na Gazo ubitih več kot 40 Palestincev, med njimi več iskalcev humanitarne pomoči. Iz Agencije Združenih narodov za pomoč palestinskim beguncem so sporočili, da so izraelski napadi, kot so bili današnji na stanovanjske stavbe v mestu Gaza, del prizadevanj, da bi bile življenjske razmere za preživele večmesečnega smrtonosnega bombardiranja neznosne. Drugi poudarki oddaje: - Bo Evropska unija v boju proti zlorabam otrok na spletu segla po množičnem nadzoru zasebnih sporočil? - NIJZ opozarja, da število primerov lymske borelioze, ki jo prenašajo klopi, narašča. - Novogoriški festival Mesto knjige sinoči sklenili s pogovorom s francoskim sociologom in filozofom Didierjem Eribonom.

Izraelska vojska je uresničila napovedi in začela prvo fazo kopenske ofenzive na mesto Gaza. Kot je sporočila, že nadzoruje njegovo obrobje. Združeni narodi so v odzivu opozorili, da bo to še poglobilo že zdaj hudo humanitarno krizo; generalni sekretar organizacije Antonio Guterres poudarja ključen pomen takojšnjega premirja v enklavi in izpustitve talcev. Po njegovem bi to lahko preprečilo dodatne smrti, ki bi jih sicer povzročila okupacija mesta Gaza. Izraelske sile navajajo, da so v sklopu širitve ofenzive v mestu Gaza že prevzele nadzor v nekaterih soseskah. Mesto močno obstreljujejo tudi iz zraka, prebivalci, ki jih je na širšem območju mesta približno milijon, pa se v težkih razmerah množično umikajo. Generalni sekretar Združenih narodov Antonio Guterres je ob tem znova pozval k premirju in izpustitvi talcev ter poudaril, da bi nova ofenziva na mesto Gaza pomenila le še več trpljenja. Izrael je tudi pozval, naj prekliče načrt za graditev več tisoč domov v nezakonitih naselbinah na Zahodnem bregu. Druge teme: - Washington in Bruselj potrdila skupno trgovinsko izjavo. - Ravnatelji na Brdu pri Kranju o varnosti in spodbudah v šolah in vrtcih. - Direktorji javnih zdravstvenih zavodov od jutri ne smejo delati še pri zasebnikih.

Izraelsko obrambno ministrstvo je odobrilo načrt za popolno vojaško zasedbo mesta Gaza, ki je v zadnjih tednih izzval hude kritike v mednarodni skupnosti in tudi med zavezniškimi državami zaostril retoriko do vlade Benjamina Netanjahuja. Izraelske oblasti so ob tem vpoklicale tudi 60 tisoč novih rezervistov, večina naj bi zasedla položaje s septembrom. Ostali poudarki oddaje: Zahodni zavezniki neenotni glede obsega varnostnih jamstev za Ukrajino. Ob študentski blokadi novosadskega sodišča srbska vladna stranka poziva k shodom po državi. V Begunjah začenjajo prenovo psihiatrične bolnišnice, poškodovane v predlanskih poplavah.

O izraelskih načrtih za razširitev ofenzive v Gazi sta nocoj govorila izraelski premier Benjamin Netanjahu in ameriški predsednik Donald Trump. Podorbnosti pogovora niso znane. Na izrednem zasedanju Varnostnega sveta Združenih narodov je medtem danes več držav načrt izraelske vlade ostro obsodilo. Tudi slovenski veleposlanik Samuel Žbogar je poudaril, da bi odločitev še poslabšala že tako katastrofalne humanitarne razmere v Gazi.

Izraelska odločitev o zasedbi mesta Gaza v istoimenski palestinski enklavi je bila tarča ostrih kritik z vseh strani, izrazili so jih tudi domača javnost, vojaško vodstvo in sorodniki talcev, ki jih zadržuje Hamas. Tudi nemška vlada, ki je doslej bolj ali manj gledala stran, je napovedala delno prekinitev izvoza orožja v judovsko državo. Predstavnica Združenih narodov v Ženevi Alessandra Vellucci je dejala, da gre za alarmantno odločitev izraelske vlade, ki prinaša katastrofalne posledice za več milijonov Palestincev in ogroža tudi življenja izraelskih talcev v Gazi. Na izraelski vojaški načrt zasedbe mesta Gaza, ki ga je odobril izraelski varnostni kabinet, se vrstijo kritike tako znotraj Izraela kot v mednarodni skupnosti. Načrt je obsodila tudi Slovenija, predsednik Evropskega sveta António Costa pa je opozoril, da bo odločitev Izraela imela posledice za odnose med judovsko državo in Evropsko unijo. Varnostni svet Združenih narodov je na pobudo petih evropskih članic organa, tudi Slovenije, za jutri sklical zasedanje o Gazi.

V svetu se vrstijo odzivi na napoved Izraela o popolni zasedbi mesta Gaza. V Evropski uniji izraelske oblasti pozivajo k vnovičnemu premisleku, saj da zaostrovanje konflikta pomeni očitno kršenje temeljnih načel mednarodnega prava. Zaostrovanju konflikta odločno nasprotujejo tudi v Združenih narodih, pravi njihova predstavnica v Ženevi Alessandra Vellucci. Po njenih besedah je jasno, da bi vsako morebitno stopnjevanje prineslo še več trpljenja prebivalcem in poslabšalo že tako hudo lakoto. Človekoljubnim organizacijam pa bi dodatno otežilo zagotavljanje pomoči. V oddaji tudi o tem: - V skladu z mirovnim sporazumom naj bi Rusija obdržala zasedena ozemlja v Ukrajini - Stroka s področja medicine dela pristojne poziva k spremembi predloga zakona o osebni rabi konoplje - V zbornici komunalnega gospodarstva pozdravljajo razpis za podelitev koncesij za sežiganje komunalnih odpadkov.

Skoznje potekajo maratoni, sanje številnih tekačev, in ko je gospa Marija Brumen ob letu, ko je dopolnila 50 let, pri sebi sprejela odločitev, da bo spet začela aktivneje teči – tek je bil vse življenje njena ljubezen – si seveda ni predstavljala, da bo čez 13 let postala prva Slovenka, ki je pretekla sedem največjih maratonov na svetu. Razstava je del uradnega programa EPK-aja, Evropske prestolnice kulture Nova Gorica – Gorica 2025, pod katero se podpisujejo člani Nonument Group, Miloš Kosec, Martin Bricelj Baraga in Eva Sušnik.

V Novem Sadu so sinoči doživeli verjetno največji protest v zgodovini mesta. Več 10 tisoč ljudi je zasedlo tri mostove in se pozneje usmerilo zgolj na enega - most svobode, ki bo ostal zaprt do 15-ih. Iz varnostnih razogov se je blokada nadaljevala pred mosom in v ulicah okoli njega. Skupaj so simbolično razsvetlili državo, celo noč je potekal kulturni in šporni program, zbrane je nagovorilo več znanih osebnosti. Medtem je srbski predsednik Aleksandar Vučić ponovil, da gre za napad na državo od zunaj in da ne bo privolil v prehodno vlado, ki jo zahteva opozicija. Um 50 milljónir búa í þessu stóra landi. Um 13 milljónir eru nú á vergangi og án heimilis. Í nágrannalöndunum og víðar eru nú um 3-4 milljónir flóttamanna. Þeir aðilar sem berjast um völdin hafa beitt skefjalausu ofbeldi og svífast einskis. Ítrekað hefur verið ráðist á spítala og bílalestir með matvæli og lyf. Nauðgunum hefur verið beitt ítrekað sem vopni til að kúga íbúa. Erfitt er að meta mannfall því allir innviðir eru í rúst. Talið er að mannfall sé á bili 25.000 til 250.000. Herforingjastjórnin sem framdi valdarán lofaði lýðræðislegum kosningum hefur ekki staðið við það loforð. Auk þessa hefur staðið yfir þjóðarmorð á ýmsum hópum í landinu. Aðgengi að matvælum, rafmagni og hreinu drykkjarvatni er af skornum skammti. Na predolimpijske počitniške četrtke opozarjamo na izplen znanstvenega leta na Valu. Letos smo v Frekvenci X razmišljali o mestih prihodnostih, o besedah trajnostno, zeleno, pa tudi o strojnem učenju in marsikateri nagradi v znanosti. Pozabili pa nismo niti na merjenje možganske aktivnosti. I säsongens sista program, då det grönskar som allra mest, ska vi ägna oss åt en återkommande favorit i modevärlden under just denna tid på året – blommor.Det har inte funnits en enda vår och sommar i modern tid då mönster av blommor inte har letat sig in bland säsongens kläder. Blommönster i vår-och sommarmodet är med andra ord varken nytt eller banbrytande, men det är, som sagt, populärt.Och just i år är det faktiskt lite extra populärt. Flera modehus har till exempel gjort moderna tolkningar av rosen i sina sommarkollektioner. Många av rosorna är förvisso klassiskt röda, men de dyker upp som överdrivet stora, som stiliserade, som 3D-prints eller som paljettbroderier. Och många har långa stjälkar med vassa taggar, som en bokstavlig udd. För blommigt är ju inte alltid detsamma som gulligt.Och så har vi förstås den omskrivna Metgalan i New York där årets tema var ”The Garden of Time”, vilket många av de celebra gästerna valde att tolka bokstavligen genom att klä sig som vandrande blomsterbuketter.I veckans program träffar vi modedesignern och textilkonstnären Karin Alice Bjurström, som färgar textilier med sådant som naturen har att erbjuda. Vi pratar med kronmakaren och konsthantverkaren Britten Toftarp, som inspirerad av allmogekultur och folktro skapar brudkronor av pappersblommor. Vi tittar också närmre på trenden att koka sirap på syrenblommor.
