Send us Fan MailOne of the joys of being Mama Dragons is getting to become fierce advocates for our LGBTQ+ children. For many of us that means learning from movement leaders, the torch bearers who rise up each generation to move the needle forward. Most often these are ordinary people with extraordinary courage who stand in the gap between reality and a future where everybody can flourish and say, “This isn't good enough,” and then dedicate their lives to closing that gap. Today In the Den, guest host Shannon sits down with just such a movement leader. Corinne Goodwin is the founder and Executive Director of the Eastern PA Trans Equity Project, which helps transgender people across 42 counties of Pennsylvania change their legal names and receive emergency assistance, and offers peer support groups for trans people and the people who love them.  Special Guest: Corinne GoodwinCorinne Goodwin (she/they) is the founder and Executive Director of Eastern PA Trans Equity Project a non-profit organization which has a mission of empowering transgender individuals throughout a 42-County area of Eastern and Central Pennsylvania.  An award-winning community leader and in-demand speaker, Corinne actively works on issues impacting the lives of LGBTQ Pennsylvanians. Corinne is a member of the Pennsylvania Governor's Commission on LGBTQ Affairs and was a founding board member of Keystone Equality.  As the leader of the Trans Equity Project, she works to advance LGBTQ+ rights in coalition with organizations that include the Human Rights Campaign, Pennsylvania Commission for Fairness & Justice, the ACLU, the Education Law Center, the Pennsylvania Youth Congress and more. Recently retired, Corinne served as a senior executive in the retail and telecommunications sectors, after which she operated her own business consultancy firm for fifteen years. A parent to one son who works in New York's theater industry, she lives in Orefield PA with her wife Debbie, a grumpy cat named April, and a model railroad that takes up way too much space in her basement. Links from the Show:Eastern PA Trans Equity ProjectPA Trans Equity on FBPA Trans Equity on IGJoin Mama Dragons todayIn the Den is made possible by generous donors like you. You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for October 14, 2025. 0:30 When is a peace plan not a peace plan? When Joe Biden and Antony Blinken try to take credit for one. We break down the White House’s response to the recent Gaza ceasefire and why President Trump’s strength and clarity paved the way for real progress—while Biden’s foreign policy blunders left chaos in their wake. From Afghanistan to Israel, from Operation Warp Speed to diplomatic déjà vu, we dive into the pattern of political plagiarism from the Biden administration. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. President Trump awarded the Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk, a month and a half after his assassination in Utah. Maine's Governor, Democrat Janet Mills announced she's running for U.S. Senate. The man accused of firebombing the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion pled guilty to attempted murder today and 22 counts of arson. 12:30 Get Brain Reward from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:30 We unpack the escalating persecution of Christians in Nigeria and China—atrocities that the mainstream media refuses to confront. From the daily slaughter of believers by Islamist militants in Nigeria to China’s state-sanctioned rewriting of the Bible, faith itself is under global assault. 16:30 Plus, Chelsea Clinton has a podcast — but should she? We ask the American Mamas— Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson— for their take. The Mamas dive into a clip from Clinton’s show — a slow, meandering discussion about “misinformation” and vaccines — and they can’t help but wonder if anyone’s still awake by the end. Is Clinton's podcast a breakthrough or just another echo from inside the same political bubble? If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 We discuss America’s snack obsession — and the news that Frito-Lay is phasing out artificial dyes from classics like Doritos and Cheetos. 26:00 “No Kings” rallies are back, but it's not quite clear who's funding them. We Dig Deep into just how “grassroots” these rallies really are — and who’s footing the bill. From recycled George Floyd-era protest tactics to reports of bail funds and arson chatter, the movement isn’t about rejecting monarchy at all — it’s about rejecting democracy. But the timing may be the biggest twist: internal documents suggest Democrats could be prolonging the government shutdown just long enough to stage-manage these rallies, complete with furloughed federal workers as props. 32:30 Get NSorb from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 33:30 From fighter jets to fentanyl — the new “Top Gun” has gone rogue. Ukraine’s “Kill House Academy,” a so-called Top Gun school for drone warfare, is attracting an unexpected kind of recruit: members of Latin American drug cartels. We break down how this unholy alliance between wartime innovation and cartel ambition could reshape the battlefield — and the border. 36:00 Plus, Young George Washington, the upcoming Angel Studios film, is premiering just in time for the nation's 250th birthday, and that's a Bright Spot. Featuring an all-star cast including Ben Kingsley, Mary-Louise Parker, Kelsey Grammer, and Andy Serkis, it might just be the patriotic movie America needs right now. 40:30 Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel are admitting it: Donald Trump earned respect. After Trump’s decisive approach to Middle East diplomacy, even his biggest critics are saying, "Whoa." 42:30 And we finish off with a basketball team with integrity, even when it means losing. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (04/14/2025): 3:05pm- A 38-year-old Harrisburg man was charged with setting fire to the Pennsylvania Governor's mansion. According to reports, the man threw two Molotov cocktails into the residence and planned to beat Governor Josh Shapiro with a hammer. Thankfully, Shapiro and his family were unharmed. President Donald Trump condemned the act and stated: “A thing like that cannot be allowed to happen.” Meanwhile, late last week, Shawn Monper—a man from Butler County, Pennsylvania—was charged with threatening to kill President Donald Trump and Elon Musk in videos posted to his YouTube channel “Mr. Satan.” Monper allegedly began purchasing guns after Trump's inauguration. 3:15pm- During an interview with CNN's “MisinfoNation” with host Donie O'Sullivan, former Washington Post and New York Times reporter Taylor Lorenz referred to Luigi Mangione as a “morally good man.” Mangione has been charged with assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thomas. In the past, Lorenz has baselessly suggested that Thomas and his company were guilty of murder for denying healthcare coverage. Last week, when questioned by the press, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer declined to condemn violence against Tesla vehicles and their drivers—instead opting to condemn Elon Musk's work on behalf of the Trump Administration. Why isn't the left vociferously condemning politically motivated violence in America? 3:30pm- While speaking with the press from the Oval Office alongside President Donald Trump, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele revealed that he has no plans to return Abrego Garcia who was deported to El Salvador after the Trump Administration determined he was in the U.S. illegally and a member of the gang MS-13. In a recent ruling, the Supreme Court determined that Garcia's deportation was, in part, the result of an “administrative error” and that he should be returned to the United States—though, after the error is corrected, the man would ultimately be eligible for deportation anyway. While speaking with the press, Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller denied an administrative error ever occurred. The Trump Administration also noted that because Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador, they have no recourse if Bukele denies their request for release. 4:00pm- Bill D'Agostino—Senior Research Analyst at Media Research Center—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to breakdown some of the best (and worst) clips from corporate media: a Boston Globe senior opinion writer compares the modern American economy to the 1930s, Dana Bash insists CNN doesn't hate America, Taylor Lorenz describes the man responsible for assassinating healthcare CEO Brian Thomas as “morally good,” and Democrats STILL (somehow) want Kamala Harris to be their presidential candidate in 2028. 4:30pm- Appearing on ABC News, sports broadcaster Stephen A. Smith said he has “no choice” but to at least consider a presidential run in 2028. Rich notes that he has no chance of winning a primary contest—because he isn't sufficiently “woke” for Democrat voters. On his podcast, Bill Maher argued that the Democrat Party has gone too far placating the “woke”—and it risks making the party “irrelevant.” 4:50pm- Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin aerospace company sent an all-female crew into space on Monday—including pop singer Katy Perry! In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Perry tells a journalist about how she reads about string theory in her spare time…but it's hilariously clear she has no idea what she's talking about. 5:05pm- According to a report from NJ.com, the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) has contributed $22.25 million to benefit Sean Spiller's NJ gubernatorial campaign. Spiller, who didn't have enough state-wide support to qualify for two upcoming Democrat primary debates, is a former high school science biology teacher who also leads the NJEA. He earns $370,000 per year. Rich wonders: how is this legal? 5:25pm- Montage: Every year, since ...

The weekend provided no respite from tariff whiplash. And the tariff whiplash (and attendant cheerleading) just drove the rest of the economy that much further down. Greg Dworkin even titled the APR with a warning. And of course, when you've lost Ross Douthat, you've temporarily lost Ross Douthat. Trump spent the weekend snubbing VIPs and watching the wrong people win sporting events. In other weekend excitement—or incitement, as the case may be—there was a little extracurricular activity at the Pennsylvania Governor's mansion. Nayib Bukele is in town today. “Cool!” We'll see whether he “facilitates” Trump's defiance of the courts, or moots the whole issue (which he, like me, sees as just a contracts issue) by “gifting” Kilmar Abrego García back to the United States. Either way, we're preparing to ship still more people to El Salvador, despite the 90% “error” rate. And this extremely poor record is impacting evidence-free student round-ups not at all! The protests continue this weekend. Good thing, too! New for your radar: Binance wants the regulatory dogs called off, while it's busy trying to bribe Trump. And the latest trend in DOGE sleight-of-hand: declaring immigration targets “dead,” so that they lose their benefits, work papers, insurance, bank accounts, and pretty much everything else that makes it possible to live here. Which is the idea, of course.

Rowe stated: “The Secret Service takes full responsibility for the tragic events of July 13th.” He continued: “In no way should any state or local agency supporting us in Butler on July 13th be held responsible for a Secret Service failure.” 3:15pm- Secret Service Whistleblower's Damning Allegations: Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics writes: “Just days after Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe denied playing a direct role in rejecting repeated requests for added security measures and assets for former President Trump, whistleblowers have come forward refuting those claims and blaming Rowe for some of the agency's security failures that led to the July 13 assassination attempt that nearly killed Trump and left rallygoer Corey Comperatore dead and two others wounded. Other whistleblowers are coming forward citing more systemic problems with the Secret Service, the vaunted agency whose primary job is to protect presidents, vice presidents and former presidents and their families. Those deep-seated long-term problems include nepotism and other non-merit-based favoritism, lowering standards and cutting corners in hiring – including failure to pass polygraph tests and accepting past hard drug use, retaliation for voicing security and other concerns, as well as uneven disciplinary action.” You can read Crabtree's full report here: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2024/08/02/secret_service_whistleblowers_acting_chief_cut_security_assets__151382.html 3:40pm- Eli Lake—Reporter for The Free Press, Contributing Editor for Commentary Magazine, & Host of the Re-Education Podcast—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest article, “President Biden: Stand Up for the Venezuelan People.” You can read the article here: https://www.thefp.com/p/biden-stand-up-for-the-venezuelan-people 4:05pm- On Friday, the Democratic National Committee announced that Kamala Harris has won enough votes from party delegates to officially become the Democrat Party Presidential Nominee. Rowe stated: “The Secret Service takes full responsibility for the tragic events of July 13th.” He continued: “In no way should any state or local agency supporting us in Butler on July 13th be held responsible for a Secret Service failure.” While taking questions from reporters, Rowe awkwardly dodged whistleblower allegations that claimed he was responsible for directing cuts to threat assessment procedures used prior to staged events. 4:30pm- Brett Eagleson—President of 9/11 Justice—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss news that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a key organizer of the September 11th terror attacks, has reached a plea agreement with the United States government and will not be sentenced to death. The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: 6:05pm- What's So Great About Josh Shapiro?: Jonathan Chait of New York Magazine writes: “Kamala Harris has the luxury of several promising options for her vice-presidential nominee, but the discussion has focused inordinately on Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro. The reason for this, I think, is that Shapiro has some weaknesses that make him distasteful to some potential Harris voters… Democrats have two main sources of concern with Shapiro, one small and one large. The small concern is that he endorsed a school-voucher plan… The more serious criticism centers on his comments on anti-Israel protests since October 7, which he has denounced.” You can read the full article here: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/josh-shapiro-vice-president-moderate-popular-governor-pennsylvania-palestine-kamala-harris.html 6:15pm- Women Don't Want Shapiro: Mary Ann Akers—Deputy Washington Bureau Chief for The Daily Beast—reports: “Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro is the betting favorite to be No. 2 on the Democratic ticket, but his involvement in a sexual harassment coverup may tank his chances. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (08/01/2024): 3:05pm- WSJ Reporter Freed as Part of Russian Prisoner Swap: Drew Hinshaw, Joe Parkinson, and Aruna Viswantha of The Wall Street Journal report: “Russia freed wrongly convicted Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich as part of the largest and most complex East-West prisoner swap since the Cold War, in which he and more than a dozen others jailed by the Kremlin were exchanged for Russians held in the U.S. and Europe, including a convicted murderer. Gershkovich and other Americans left Russian aircraft at roughly 11:20 a.m. ET at an airport in Turkey's capital, Ankara. Gershkovich was then transported to an aircraft lounge on a Turkish bus. Russia had kept the 32-year-old behind bars for more than a year on a false allegation of espionage. It sentenced him in a hurried and secret three-day trial to 16 years in a high-security penal colony.” Rich notes that it's wonderful that Gershkovich has been released but wonders why Pennsylvania school teacher Marc Fogel remains wrongfully imprisoned by Russia? You can read the full article here: https://www.wsj.com/world/russia/evan-gershkovich-free-cde745b3 3:20pm- While speaking to the White House press, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan was asked about the “imbalance” in the Biden-Harris Administration's prisoner swap agreement with Russia—with Russia receiving hardened criminals while the U.S. received wrongfully convicted citizens and journalists. 3:30pm- Paul Thacker— Investigative Journalist & former Fellow at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest article for his Substack, The Disinformation Chronicle. You can find Thacker's article, “NIH Email Reveals Plan to Fool Congress With Response ‘That Doesn't Actually Answer the Questions,'” here: https://disinformationchronicle.substack.com/p/nih-email-reveals-plan-to-fool-congress 3:50pm- Olympic Female Boxing: Italian female boxer Angela Carini was forced to surrender after one punch from Algerian Imane Khelif during their Olympics bout. Khelif had previously  been disqualified from participating in women's boxing competitions after testing revealed Khelif possessed XY chromosomes. While appearing on Fox News, boxer Claressa Shields—a two-time Olympic gold medalist—said that while she respects everyone, she doesn't believe it's fair or safe for men to fight women in the boxing ring. 4:05pm- Harrison Fields—Former White House and Congressional Spokesperson & a Surrogate for the 2024 Trump Campaign—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to recap Donald Trump's campaign rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It was Trump's first trip to the Keystone State since he was nearly assassinated in Butler, PA. Last night, Trump invited Tiffany Hall—a single mother of four who lives in PA—on stage to discuss how her life, and the lives of her children, have been made more difficult by Bidenomics and the resulting inflation. 4:30pm- Congress Tries to Protect Children Online: The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board writes: “The Senate on Tuesday passed the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA), 91-3, and who opposes keeping children safe in the cyber wilderness? While well-intended and useful in some ways, the bill is full of land mines that the House would be wise to clean up…If parents don't want their children spending more than an hour on TikTok a day or playing video games past 8 p.m., they should have the power to stop them. But politicians always want more control, and they say it's unfair to ask parents to supervise children online. Thus the Senate bill would empower the Federal Trade Commission and 50 state Attorneys General to serve in loco parentis and police the platforms. Companies would have a legal ‘duty of care' to design their platforms to prevent harm to minors. This means the FTC could sue platforms if it says their features, including algorithms, harm minors.” You can read the full editorial here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/senate-kids-online-safety-act-house-social-media-regulation-federal-trade-commission-30cfe079?mod=opinion_lead_pos1 4:40pm- Hong Kong Wins Gold in Fencing, Taunts Italy with Pineapple Pizza: John Yoon of The New York Times reports: “Losing an Olympic fencing title bout to the champion from Hong Kong was difficult enough for the Italian. Then came the pizza slander. Cheung Ka Long's triumph over Filippo Macchi of Italy in the gold medal bout in men's foil on Monday has led to a sour fallout that has spilled off the fencing strip: Pizza Hut's Hong Kong and Macao branch has offered free pineapple toppings on its pies as fans on social media praised the combination widely shunned by the losing side.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/30/world/olympics/hong-kong-italy-fencing-pineapple-pizza.html 5:05pm- On Wednesday night, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Harrisburg, PA—his first trip to Pennsylvania since he was nearly assassinated at an event in Butler, PA on July 13th. During the rally, Trump emphasized presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris' far-left policy preferences, including: a ban on fracking, abolishing ICE, and ending private health insurance. Trump also spent time discussing Harris' failed attempt to secure the U.S. Southern border. Trump promised the crowd “We're not going to let her do to Pennsylvania what she did to California. She destroyed San Francisco."—even calling out Soros-funded District Attorneys and explicitly mentioning Philadelphia. 5:25pm- Flashback: In 2016, KCAL 9—a CBS News affiliate in Los Angeles, CA—reported that Kamala Harris was accused of treating her Senate “campaign funds like a personal checking account to fund a life of luxury.” When questioned about the accusations, Harris seemingly conceded that money was misappropriated but blamed it on her campaign manager. 5:35pm- Dr. Victoria Coates—Former Deputy National Security Advisor & the Vice President of the Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at The Heritage Foundation—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the Biden Administration's prisoner swap agreement with Russia. While it's wonderful that Gershkovich has been released, why does Pennsylvania school teacher Marc Fogel remain wrongfully imprisoned in Russia? Dr. Coates fears that because Russia got the better end of this trade deal, it could encourage Vladimir Putin to imprison more Americans. Plus, why isn't the American media paying closer attention to authoritarian Nicolas Maduro's seizure of power in Venezuela? Coates suspects the media is protecting the Biden-Harris Administration for having eased sanctions on Venezuela in exchange for Maduro's empty promise of free and fair elections—which clearly didn't happen. Her upcoming book is: “Winning the War on Israel: Inside the Battle for the Jewish State and America.” 6:05pm- What's So Great About Josh Shapiro?: Jonathan Chait of New York Magazine writes: “Kamala Harris has the luxury of several promising options for her vice-presidential nominee, but the discussion has focused inordinately on Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro. The reason for this, I think, is that Shapiro has some weaknesses that make him distasteful to some potential Harris voters… Democrats have two main sources of concern with Shapiro, one small and one large.
