The Postponement Problem: Breaking the Habit of Later Many of us live our lives waiting for a future happiness that we believe lies just over the horizon. But this mindset creates an indefinite postponement of life, turning the vibrant present into a mere waiting room for a tomorrow that never arrives as planned. Our journey today is to explore how we can break this cycle and learn to live in the only moment we truly have: the now. New Happiness Podcast episode with Dr. Robert Puff, Newport Beach Psychologist

Despite Eagles training camp yesterday the biggest point of controversy in Philadelphia was the cancelation of DeCamara vs Fritz Round 3 of tennis due to the extreme heat yesterday. Rod Lakin took most of the blame yesterday but the midday show thinks it may be unwarranted and the true person to blame may have been made more clear after the WIP Morning Show earlier today.
Hour 1: Ike and Spike let Fritz have it as his tennis match versus Joe DeCamara was postponed due to heat.
Full Show: Ike and Spike let Fritz hear it as he and Joe DeCamara decide not to participate in their tennis challenge due to the extreme heat. Plus, plenty of Eagles and Phillies coverage as the Birds have a full padded practice at training camp and we are now two days away from the MLB trade deadline.

We're joined by Kim Lencki, Community Partnerships & Engagement Manager with Parks & Recreation, to talk about what goes into making that kind of call—from monitoring forecasts to coordinating with vendors and public safety teams—and why rescheduling a large-scale event is more complex than it may seem. The good news? The celebration is still happening. The Freedom Festival has been rescheduled for Friday, August 30, and the team is working hard to deliver the same great night of fun, food, music, and fireworks. For event details and updates, visit NorthPortFL.gov/FreedomFestival.

Postponement of the Privileges Committee recommendations in Parliament gives National a chance to take the moral high ground. The debate of the suspension recommendations for those who did a haka during the Treaty Principles Bill's vote last year was adjoined after 20 minutes. The Leader of the House Chris Bishop moved the vote until June 5th, to leave this week free for the Budget. Political commentator Brigitte Morten told Ryan Bridge National clearly showed they know how to use the rules of Parliament. She says they've therefore been able to take the high ground and let the Te Pati Māori MPs be there for the Budget. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
