We've been receiving some incredible "ask us anything" questions, and we can't wait to dive into them and share our insights with all of you.The first question we'll be addressing is: "How do you effectively add time into pricing? How do I pay myself?" It's an important aspect of running a business, and we understand the challenges it can present. We'll explore different strategies and approaches to help you determine how to appropriately account for your time and ensure you're paying yourself what you deserve. The second question we'll be discussing is: "What are your thoughts about staying a small business on purpose? What if your business is just a job you created for yourself? Is there a number attached to it?" These questions touch on the idea of intentionally choosing to remain a small business and finding fulfillment in that choice. We'll delve into the concept of purposefully embracing the size and scope of your business and how you can measure success beyond just financial metrics.Remember, if you want to ask us anything or have your questions answered on the show, make sure to follow us @TheProductBoss or @thejacquelinesnyder. That's why the businesses that take the time to serve consumers from underrepresented and underserved communities are winning their attention, adoration, and loyalty. In this episode, I chatted with Jacqueline Snyder and Minna Khounlo-Sithep about how product-based businesses are winning more customers by leaning into inclusion in a manner that fits for both their business and their customers. Here are some key points covered in the discussion: The 3 areas product-based business owners infuse inclusion into their businesses Why it doesn't matter where your brand starts in terms of the types of consumers you're able to reach Why representation matters beyond just brand and product photography Why there's no one right way to build an inclusive brand Why feedback (or complaints) are a great opportunity to identify how to become more inclusive in your brand How to be resourceful in choosing how to be more inclusive in your business Why more doesn't equal more About Jacqueline and Minna Jacqueline Snyder and Minna Khounlo-Sithep are the combined force behind The Product Boss Podcast. The PurposeGirl Podcast: Empowering women to live their purpose with courage, joy, and fierce self-love.

Have you ever found yourself just waiting to feel more confident before undertaking a certain activity? Maybe postponing starting your own business or asking for that promotion until the fear of rejection or failure minimizes? Well, in order to make that happen, you'll have to be courageous first. This is how it works: The more courage you have, the more you'll take action when you're scared; therefore, the more confidence you'll have in yourself. In this episode of The PurposeGirl Podcast, I'm fortunate to be joined by Amy Klien, co-founder and CEO of Give Her Courage, a retail company with a mission to build courage and confidence within young girls and women all around the world. Amy shares with us some major tips in order to help women become more self-assured, risk-takers and eventually turn into the CEOs of their own lives. As she puts it: “Confidence is being comfortable in your skin and loving all of your own imperfections.” In this episode, Amy and I discuss the following: In comparison with men, women are less used to self-promoting or taking risks because they are usually too afraid to failing or not looking perfect. Self-image seems to drop significantly among girls at the age of ten to twelve years, when all the bullying and meanness of middle school kicks in. The importance of parents encouraging their kids to do activities they feel passionate about. Social media is a powerful tool, but it must be approached with moderation, since it can have quite a negative impact on young girls. How focusing on things related to their own wellbeing and personal development can make it easier for girls to cope with other people's opinions and judgments. It's key to put failure in a positive light: if you don't fail, then you're not trying. Every time you fail, you learn something that gets you closer to your goal. You can connect with Amy on Instagram (@givehercourage) or you can reach out to her at amy.macbride@gmail.com.
