Et The Order 1664 devait faire l'unanimité.

There will be no Nintendo NX at E3 2016, but they will be showing up the new Zelda Wii U game. Which will now also be an NX game. Sean and Vinnk wonder what this means for the release of the next installment of the Zelda series, if the full NX system will launch in March, or just one component of the rumored handheld/console hybrid. Also, more Zelda in Pile of Shame, and a decidedly non-Zelda game is Vinnk's Future Retro! Another week and once again we get big news, I’m beginning to like how these news cycles are turning out. Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo NX will release in March 2017, but we won’t know anything until some time after E3 2016. Is it a good idea for Nintendo to skip E3? When do we expect for this NX event to occur? And what could be the price tag? Also, Nintendo delayed Zelda Wii U to 2017 and announced what we’ve known all along that a Zelda NX was in development as well. There’s also other Nintendo News on their profits, selling a stake in the Seattle Mariners, The Wii U production, and more. We discuss a few things from PAX East, Borderlands 3 is real, the new Call of Duty game has a name, our thoughts on the new Doctor Who Companion and whatever else is out there news wise. We even have a returning co-host for this show as well, as fellow 411 Writer Daniel Anderson makes a special appearance to break it all down with us.
Instead of examining a specific game on Episode 7 of the First Person Podcast we turn a eye, an upraised eyebrow, and a single tear towards Nintendo and its recent decisions. Four disapointed Nintendo fans look at the many controversies and rumours currently surrounding both Nintendo as a company as well as their current and upcoming games. In this episode we cover the Fire Emblem localization, Nintendo’s lack of reaction to GamerGate, Nintendo firing Alison Rapp, the launch and staying power of Miitomo, and the rumours about implementing a choice between male and female link in the new Zelda game. Beyond this will also discuss larger issues of localization, how sexuality is depicted in games, and wonder how many different varieties of “hard core” gamers we’ve encountered. Happy Easter everyone. Sorry, we took a week off due to Wrestlemania 31 consuming Sean's time. But that gives us two week's worth of news to get through. Sean and Marc break down Nintendo's pretty big direct where they confirmed Legend of Zelda Wii U has been delayed until 2016, but they revealed more Amiibo, a new trailer for Shin Megami X Fire Emblem, more DLC for Smash and Mario Kart, and yeah more stuff. Marc bought a PS4 this week, so we get his thoughts on that. We talk about the Halo 5 trailers and what it could mean for the game's story, Quantum Break gets delayed until 2016, and damn there is just too much to list here. Sean has started his review of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Sean also has thoughts on the mobile game Final Fantasy Record Keeper, both Marc and Sean talk Episode 2 of Tales from the Borderlands, and probably a few more games will be mixed in there. So, be sure to listen to this episode, because I'm sure there is something for everyone here.

Join host Jose Otero, Peer Schneider, and Brian Altano, as they commiserate over the news. Then, the crew switches gears to talk about April's Nintendo Direct. But you're only getting half the story this week. Tune in next week for part two of our Nintendo Direct recap.

Another fortnight, another podcast! This week Bally dons his helmet and starts pea shooting in the Capcom classic Mega Man 2! He liked the game, which is more than he can say for most NES titles. Both Bally and Nbz have been playing the demo for Codename S.T.E.A.M. and their ambivalence has been quelled by this meaty taste test, its pretty great! Nbz has also been playing the sequel to 2013's Gunman Clive, Gunman Clive 2! Moreover thanks to a kind listener he's played Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor on PC. This will be a long one, so expect more updates on it in the future. After the break Bally takes the hosting chair to discuss topics such as what we think the new gimmick will be in the upcoming Zelda Wii U game! Finally we close out the show with a news round up, including APEX 2015, Splatoon new details, and the Xenoblade Chronicles X direct! It's been a huge week for Nintendo and we think it shows in this episode of the Vookcast! Commemorating our 100th episode, the team looks at all of the announcements to come out of E3. The usual team of James, Steven and Daniel is joined by special guests Scott (aka Lucrei) as well as newcomer Wayne. The episode opens with a run down of the titles announced for this year - including Devil's Third, Smash Bros. for both 3DS and Wii U as well as Nintendo's ambitious new figurine line, the Amiibo range. Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2 and the surprise Bayonetta 1 port as well as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker are discussed too! With such a busy 2014, an even busier 2015 is on the horizon too! The team discusses Zelda for Wii U, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Code Name S.T.E.A.M., Yoshi's Woolly World, Splatoon, Mario Party 10, Mario Maker, Kirby & The Rainbow Curse and Xenoblade X. But that's not all! The team also talks about Miyamoto's projects 0 including Project Giant Robot, Project Guard and the much talked about Star Fox for Wii U. Even games that weren't at the show get a mention! The team finishes the episode talking about the game that weren't shown, but we hoped were. Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem, Metroid and the much rumoured Majora's Mask 3D were discussed too.
