*Note: the audio can get pretty rough in this episode. Really sorry about that.* Bobby Bostic was just 16 years old in 1995 when he committed two robberies where thankfully no serious injuries occurred. Still, Bobby Bostic was sentenced to 241 years in prison by Judge Eveyln Baker with no opportunity for parole until Bobby turns 112 years old."If I knew then what I know now... I wouldn't have given him 241 years. But I didn't know then what I know now. When I sentenced Bobby, we had no knowledge of brain development... He was still a child. His brain had another 10 or more years to go before it was fully developed. I treated a 16 year old child like a 36 year old man and I say that is wrong." - Judge Evelyn Baker almost 25 years after sentencing Bobby Bostic. Miraculously, Bobby continued to work and hope until the world heard his story. Today he is free after 27 years of incarceration to tell his story to the audience of West Coast Radio. A story of resilience, hard work, discipline, and above all hope. Bobby is the author of many books which you can find on Amazon. Titles include, "Life Goes on Inside Prison", "Dear Mama: The Life and Struggles of a Single Mother" & "Time: Endless Moments in Prison". Check out Bobby's social media page to learn about his work and public speaking: Instagram: @FreeBobbyBostic Facebook & Instagram: Dear Mama

West Coast Radio ep. 110 is hosted by Warren and Matthew. Thanks for being here! Here is a brief overview of the show. We begin with Monologue jokes. 2/5 are decent. The Ukrainian war. Why is the invasion of Ukraine getting 24/7 news coverage but concurrent US drone attacks get almost no attention at all? When nuclear warfare is threatened, cable news sales people are the real winners. What do military simulations predict will happen if we intervene should China invade Taiwan? Anthony Weiner can give a hell of a speech. The state of Washington cannot legally make fallout shelters or plan for nuclear fallout. Compassion for depressed loved ones is really hard when they stop showering. Poo Pourri is the greatest product of all time and allows America the option to never smell feces again. Dolly Parton's song was about workin' "9-5"... When did it become 8-5? Dear God. Coward of the County by Kenny Loggins is a sick song that can never be casually enjoyed. Matthew has a crush on Miley Cyrus. Korean Fried Chicken is unbelievable. American social credit should never happen... But if it did here are some people that should be docked. Thieves are getting brazen. They also offer incredible deals on brand new items via OfferUp.
Welcome to West Coast Radio. Returning to the program today are friends of the show, Robert Smithline and Nicky Akmal. Robert is the writer and director of The Hunter's Anthology, a science fiction, mystery horror series that you can watch on Amazon Prime and Tubi for free. Nicky is a tv and film producer. She produced The Hunter's Anthology, and will be the producer for Robert's next project about time travel called, "Trust Us”. They are here with me to celebrate The Hunter's Anthology's 1 year anniversary. Since its release, The Hunter's Anthology has been celebrated in the most prestigious of places such as The New York Times and The Chelsea Film Festival. TheHuntersAnthology.Com is their website, and all links to where you can discover everything about the series is included in this episodes right here! linktr.ee/HuntersAnthology A little bit about The Hunter's Anthology - "Six strangers find themselves trapped in a New York City subway by Mac (Taylor August), a mysterious man who claims to be a demon hunter. Insisting one of them is evil, he peeks into their souls discovering five eerie, supernatural tales. It's then up to Mac to solve the mystery and destroy the demon amongst them." Be sure to keep an eye out in the future for Season 2 of The Hunter's Anthology!
Warren and Matthew gather to speak on the World's condition as of late. The 9-5 is unavoidable wage slavery but still a blessing in comparison to a majority of the world's situation. According to Pink Floyd we are all either Sheep, Dogs, or (very few of us) Pigs. Sober dreams are a real mofo when you haven't had them in a long time, Matthew is terrorized by nightmares of dogs and coyotes in precarious situations. A young newcaster woman also taught him to be judgmental of women who show panty lines under yoga pants. If Matthew was in charge of China, he would sabotage US excellence in the winter olympics. Why does the White House care about Joe Rogan? They never went after Howard Stern this hard. My 600 pound life has some really curious moments worth noting. The price of Pho and Popeyes are absurd and Sausage Pancake corndogs have fallen victim to the supply chain. Ram Ranch is the song of choice for Canadian Trucker counter protesters. We also discuss the suicide of Chelsie Kryst, Miss USA and extraordinary woman. Can you have it all (seemingly) and still suffer? Is the dude still expected to pay half? The show wraps up with the best documentary Matthew has seen in a long, long time. Broke (2009) free on YouTube.
Chris LoRRaine (Hollywood, California) returns to the program to discuss his upcoming album and his latest project working with Green Jello Vision Music TV. Instagram: @ChrisLorraineMusic

If VR gaming is THIS much fun today, how irresistible will it become tomorrow?#veryasianvery-asian.comIf you like West Coast Radio, please tell your friends! It helps so much. West Coast Radio welcomes a true waterman, Jordan Hanssen to the program. Jordan has rowed across the ocean a number of times, but for the purposes of this interview we'll focus on two of those ocean crossing odysseys. The first, when Jordan along with his 3 other teammates, broke a Guinness world record rowing from New York to England while literally starving. The second, an almost completed row from Africa to Miami, where Jordan and his team ended up on Dateline NBC. Many of the stories in this interview can be examined in detail by reading Jordan's Book; 'Rowing Into the Son: Four Young Men Crossing the North Atlantic' and also by watching Dateline NBC's special on Jordan's attempted row from Africa to Miami called, "Capsized".Jordan's Book:https://www.amazon.com/Rowing-into-Son-Crossing-Atlantic-ebook/dp/B00AZ6C3OK/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/rowing-into-the-son-jordan-hanssen/1113897194;jsessionid=2222DC37D5807B02F0089DC4C3B21F3D.prodny_store02-atgap07?ean=9781594856365 Dateline NBC Special on Jordan:https://www.nbcnews.com/video/capsized-part-1-226589251691 Jordan is the creator of the Tiny Boat Session project which, among other things, displays an artist performing their art on a tiny boat with a big heart. Welcome to West Coast Radio's 97th episode. This is a solo broadcast that will fill you in on everything important that's happened recently. Segment 1: OpeningEscaping is a beautiful concept. Dick Ritche (Michael Rappaport) had one of the greatest escape scenes in all of film at the end of True Romance. Speaking of great escapes, it is looking as though Brian Laundrie has gotten away with Murder and escaped into the international abyss. If I was on the run and had to disappear... Where would I go? VIETNAM! Segment 2: (Clip)The idea of selling one's soul to the devil is interesting. If one wanted to sell their soul in exchange for something, what practical steps would they take to get beelzebub to appear before them and hear the proposal? Christopher Lee warns us of becoming too involved with the Occult. Lee talks about the only Occult book he will keep in his home. At this point in the program the audience will hear about an old southern killing curse. If you perform the cures correctly, it'll kill somebody. It you perform the curse incorrectly... It'll kill you! Segment 3: NewsSanjay Gupta vs Joe Rogan. Mass firings are incoming as 40% of Americans refuse to get vaccinate. This will lead to the greatest American standoff since the Civil War. Segment 4: Haiku of the Week Segment 5:The Person of the Program is Viola Davis from Virginia. Viola turned 110 recently and is looking great! One of the worst parts of getting that old would be to need help wiping after the restroom. (even though there is absolutely no shame with that) I have a horrible issue with being vulnerable and rejoice in the fact that bidet technology will make it so that when I am old, needing help wiping will not be an issue. Segment 6: (Clips)Upon first impression, Tik Tok seems like it is really bad for society. Here are some of my favorites! Segment 7:Frances Haugen takes on the Goliath in Facebook. Segment 8: Closing remarks Red Winds Casino's drug testing policy proves them to be an entity without creativity or common sense.

Matthew sits down with Seth David Radwell to talk about his book, American Schism: How the Two Enlightenments Hold the Secret to Healing our Nation.--Without argument, The United States is a divided nation. But have we always been that way? How did we get that way? How do we heal moving forward? Broadcasting from Seattle, Washington This is West Coast Radio. On the program today is Seth David Radwell, author of the new, No.1 Amazon best selling book: American Schism: How the Two Enlightenments Hold the Secret to Healing Our Nation. “The Political dialogue in America has collapsed. Raw and bitter emotions such as anger and resentment have crowded out any logical debate.” American Schism Reveals 1) The roots of the divisive rift in America since its founding and what is really dividing the left and right.2) The core issues that underlie all of today's bickering.3) A detailed, effective plan to move forward, commencing what will be a long process of repair and reconciliation. Seth David Radwell is a business executive with a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and a master's degree in Public Policy from Harvard University. To name a few of his many business accomplishments, Seth served as President of e-Scholastic, CEO of The Proactiv Company, and as President & Chief Revenue Officer of Guthy-Renker. Seth has reached the pinnacle of what it means to be an ultra successful business person in the United States, yet dropped everything and took a leave of absence from that world to solely focus on writing this book, aiding in the effort to heal this injured nation at perhaps its most vulnerable point. This episode discusses the end of times here on earth. David and Matthew talk about the Second Coming of Christ. David has spent over 13 years gathering biblical and academic data to support the claim that Jesus Christ will return to earth in the form of a comet. Following this event, the world will end and those who accept Christ as their lord and savior will be able to go to heaven. Unfortunately, some Christians will not be spared suffering during this time, however they should suffer with honor and subsequently will be sent to Heaven to enjoy for all eternity. Are all these billionaires trying to hustle to space because they know something about the end time that we don't? Coming sooner than later? WHO KNOWS

Broadcasting from Seattle, Washington this is West Coast Radio. My guest today is Dan Greenberger out of Hollywood, California. Dan is a tv/film writer and producer whose work you would recognize on CBS television shows like How I Met Your Mother, Everybody Loves Raymond, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory and more. He is the recipient of many Writers Guild Awards for his work at CBS and he is here today to promote his brand new book called, “The Boys Next Door: A Novel about the Beatles” “Alan Levy is a college student who, in the fall of 1960, spends a semester abroad in Hamburg, Germany. There, he has the misfortune to rent a room next door to an up-and-coming rock and roll band from the North of England. They call themselves the Beatles. They are loud, rambunctious, and high-spirited. They are wildly unconventional (at least compared to Alan's Ivy League polish) and play horrible, jarring music at all hours of the night. They are friends, however, with a young woman with whom Alan has fallen hopelessly in love—a beautiful German photographer named Astrid. The Boys Next Door is a bittersweet love story and a tall tale; a fast-paced, comic what-if, and a true fantasy fulfillment for Beatle fans everywhere. It's a loving evocation of a time when rock and roll was new and dangerous, and when the lads from Liverpool were taking their first baby steps toward conquering the world.”You can buy The Boys Next Door: A novel about the Beatles, on Amazon for $6.99 on Kindle or $9.99 on paperback. https://www.amazon.com/Boys-Next-Door-novel-Beatles-ebook/dp/B08D7YMWVPI have a copy myself and I absolutely loved it. Could not put it down. Lots of people are going to be on an airplane this summer, and it is one of those reads that'll make any flight go by in a blink. Dan is here today to promote his novel but he comes from the world of television and the world of television fascinates me more than almost anything on earth. Naturally, this conversation was a big deal to me and I had such a great time asking questions about the world of television. Someday, just like Dan, I'll be a permanent part of professional show business. In the meantime, it was a real pleasure to step into that world for a moment... I'll be back!

West Coast Radio Welcomes Donna Francart to the program. Donna spent almost a decade as a deputy coroner in the midwest and wrote a tell-all book describing her experience. The Dead, Ghosts, Angels, it is all here for you on West Coast Radio. I’ve Seen Dead People Takes Readers Inside the Mind and Soul of Deputy Coroner — It was typical for Donna Francart to go to bed with her makeup on and hair styled; her clothes nearby and her tactical boots by the door. Seconds count when duty calls, and death doesn’t care if it’s the middle of the night. 'I've Seen Dead People: Diary of a Deputy Coroner' gives readers a rare look inside the mind and heart of one of society’s most mysterious — and to some, macabre — professions. For nearly nine years, Francart was a deputy coroner who worked medicolegal death investigations, which are those involving suspicious, violent, unexplained or unexpected deaths. Lacking access to structured debriefings, Francart turned to journaling as a way of privately unpacking the profound grief she faced and preserving her own mental well-being. As she did, she found herself in a conundrum of perplexing relationships with both the living and the dead. With 'I've Seen Dead People', she shares her unfiltered thoughts and emotions as she navigates a world most of us cannot imagine — a world Francart was drawn to out of a genuine desire to help others during their darkest hours. “Every single one of us on this earth deserves to die with dignity and respect,” she says. “If our lives are robbed from us by the hands of another, our voices must be heard, to tell the truth and seek justice. Every one of us was a mother, a father, someone's brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin. Everyone is someone, and that is how I handled every single case that I was on.” 'I've Seen Dead People' also chronicles everyday moments, as Francart tried to provide as normal an upbringing as possible for her two sons. Along the way, they all learned to share their space with the many spirits that Francart encountered, and to embrace the beauty of life.Donna's book, 'I've Seen Dead People: Diary of a Deputy Coroner' is available now on Amazon.com

West Coast Radio spends episode #64 discussing Bobby Bostic and his campaign for freedom. Bobby Bostic was just 16 years old in 1995 when he committed two robberies where thankfully no serious injuries occurred. Still, Bobby Bostic was sentenced to 241 years in prison by Judge Eveyln Baker with no opportunity for parole until Bobby turns 112 years old. "If I knew then what I know now... I wouldn't have given him 241 years. But I didn't know then what I know now. When I sentenced Bobby, we had no knowledge of brain development... He was still a child. His brain had another 10 or more years to go before it was fully developed. I treated a 16 year old child like a 36 year old man and I say that is wrong." - Judge Evelyn Baker almost 25 years after sentencing Bobby Bostic Damien Linnane is an author, illustrator, storyteller, advocate for justice, and representative for Bobby Bostic.damienlinnane.comCheck out Damien's Book!https://www.amazon.com/Scarred-Damien-Linnane-ebook/dp/B07XVQ63XFDamien's Instagram:@damienlinnane Damien's Artwork Instagram:@embersofretribution You can help Bobby Bostic and his pursuit of freedom!freebobbybostic.com Instagram:@freebobbybostic Bobby's Linktree Resource Headquarters:https://linktr.ee/freebobbybostic ACLU Petition:https://action.aclu.org/petition/mo-clemency-for-bobby-bostic Governor Michael Parson's Contact Information: (Email)https://governor.mo.gov/contact-us Office of Governor Michael L.
