Welcome back to another episode of the Boutique Fitness Marketing podcast!  I'm so excited for this episode because if you know today's guest, you know it will be packed full of good ideas.  Today, we're discussing offline marketing ideas—marketing that doesn't involve Facebook, Google, or any social media.  Our guest is Niki Riga, Owner of Limitless Studio. A little bit about Niki:  Niki has been a client, a studio owner, and a coach in boutique fitness for over a decade. She became a coach because she was regularly asked, “How did you do that!?” by other studio owners who were drowning in the day-to-day of business ownership without support. She loves showing studio owners how they, too, can achieve their long-term entrepreneurial goals; they just need some guidance and a well-strategized to-do list. Here's a quick rundown of what we covered:  Niki's backstory, including how she transitioned from barre studio owner to running a coaching business.  What is guerilla marketing? What are some of the best offline marketing campaigns Niki has seen work?  Tips on hosting free marketing events and getting people to come to the studio afterwards.   How does seasonality come into play with guerrilla marketing?  Is there a best time of year to put effort into these things?  Ideas for studio owners who are in a slump and don't have a large budget to invest in paid marketing.  Where should they start?  Where you can find Niki, how you can work with her and some details on her Studio Sales Solution.  Connect with Niki: https://www.yourlimitlessstudio.com/  https://yourthrivestudio.com https://studiosalessolution.com/

We are currently sharing a series directed specifically for Holistic Health Professionals… But you'll like them too! Here is the third episode of that series. Marketing in the holistic medicine business encounters multiple challenges. To grow your holistic medicine business effectively, you should consider adopting guerrilla marketing strategies. Unlike traditional marketing, which requires a large marketing budget, guerrilla marketing offers tangible results at minimal cost, making it highly effective for small holistic businesses. In this insightful episode, Dr. Terri Levine outlines 19 key criteria that distinguish guerrilla marketing from traditional marketing. Unlike traditional methods that rely heavily on financial investment, guerrilla marketing requires the investment of time, energy, imagination, and knowledge. The guerrilla marketing approach leverages psychological concepts and an understanding of human nature to engage customers authentically. Unlike traditional marketing, which often ends after a sale, guerrilla marketing emphasizes continuous follow-up and genuine cooperation with customers, enhancing the overall customer experience crucial for sustainable business growth. Additionally, guerrilla marketing employs reverse marketing by obtaining authorization or permission from individuals to receive marketing materials at their discretion, unlike traditional marketing, which focuses solely on making a sale. Tune in for further insights on the difference between guerrilla marketing and traditional marketing.   Watch the full episode on Youtube: https://youtu.be/uayl4BAIUo0   Key Highlights From The Episode: [01:21] 19 Criteria that differentiate Guerrilla Marketing from Traditional Marketing [01:29] #1 Financial Investment [01:45] #2 Psychological concepts and understanding of human nature [01:55] #3 Profit [02:07] #4 Small holistic practices [01:20] #6 Following up with your customers [02:41] #7 Emphasis on the importance of cooperation [03:04] #8 Long-term connections [03:18] #9 Use of marketing combinations [03:34] #10 Increasing the number of clients  [03:57] #11 Keeping your focus [04:13] #12 Directed towards individuals [04:20] #13 Greater emphasis on relationships [04:37] #14 Focuses on what can you provide in order to serve and to make a difference [04:59] #15 Open to using technology and automation [05:06] #16 Done on purpose [05:21] #17 Obtaining authorization/permission [05:40] #18 Heart to heart conversation [05:57] #19 Marketing that employs more than just advertising as a method [07:03] Get the 200 distinct marketing weapons from Dr. Terri Levine Email: Terri@heartrepreneur.com       Golden Nuggets: • Guerrilla marketing delivers tangible results at little to no cost. [01:14]  • Unlike traditional marketing, which primarily involves financial investment, guerrilla marketing requires the investment of time, energy, imagination, and knowledge. [02:31] • Guerrilla marketing focuses on following up with customers after they have received a service rather than treating them as mere transactions. [02:20] • Instead of competing with other businesses, guerrilla marketers emphasize the importance of cooperation. [02:41] • The concept of Guerrilla Marketing suggests that you should expand your holistic practice by maintaining your focus rather than expanding your business through diversification. [03:58]  • Rather than marketing to people with the sole aim of making a sale, Guerrilla Marketing involves obtaining authorization or permission from individuals to receive marketing materials at their discretion, a process known as reverse marketing. [05:21] • Guerrilla Marketing is not a monologue where one person does all the talking; it's a heart-to-heart conversation where both parties actively engage in communication with each other. Phillip and Brian have FOMO over guerrilla marketing in the *bathroom*, and break down the Jackson family walkthrough of Meow Wolf's Omega Mart. Stick around for BigCommerce CEO Brent Bellm's sit down with Brian live from Shoptalk. “From $70M to $700M”Key takeaways:- ShopTalk has become the biggest pure-play event in North America for e-commerce, showcasing the growth and optimism in the industry.- AI is making its way into various tools and solutions, embedding Gen AI to increase efficiency in teams.- TikTok is seen as a viable platform for brands to engage with new audience segments, and it offers a unique opportunity for creators to collaborate with brands.- Checkout replacement tools are shifting gears, aiming for faster and more adaptable solutions to meet the evolving needs of e-commerce businesses.- Omega Mart by Meow Wolf is an immersive art exhibit that satirizes capitalism and consumerism, allowing visitors to explore a surreal grocery store with twisted products on the shelves.{00:15:41} - “There are a lot of solutions that are actually embedding Gen AI in their tools. Everything from data cleanliness to customer service to product copy to marketing and other tools. I think everyone's just barely actually embedding it in a way that will actually increase efficiency in teams.” - Brian{00:27:15} - “{TikTok Shop} is closer to almost like a B2B2C model. You have your home designers and fabric stores sell to those home designers and they work their fabrics into the homes that they're influencing. It's almost the same thing. Managing these effectively, you know, designers for all kinds of experiences, not just homes, but beauty, fashion, whatever it is.” - Brian{00:52:47} - “The overarching philosophy of metamodernism in that the best way to deliver an experience is to engage in both culture and commerce but to do so with a wink to say, "We both know that for this thing to exist that you really want that I have to play into the commercial nature of the way that it exists. And so I will critique that so that you can't critique it, Mrs Consumer. I will critique it for us, but we both know that the only way that you're going to get this and the only way you can deliver this and experience this is if it's commercialized in some way," and that is the overarching narrative of Omega Mart.” - Phillip{00:59:15} - “You can press a button and have a catalyst store on Next.js and React, the highest performing most popular tech in the world of composable, in under 60 seconds pre-integrated with all of our functionality, as well as leading content management solutions, as well as leading search and merch engines, out of the box hosting from top partners like Vercel. We have so lowered the bar to the world's best composable tech that we think that's the future, and it's perfectly timed with the growth again of MACH enthusiasm in the US.” - Brent{01:07:21} - “What if we turned Makeswift, not just for content websites, which is what it was built for, into commerce websites too? And that was the sort of the magic aha idea, and I think we are going to transform the industry.” - Brent{01:13:29} - “We're open sourcing the React component library. Meaning, any agency, any developer can come in and contribute a new component or enhance a component. We'll make sure it's secure. We'll be sort of the gatekeepers on the quality, but you're not dependent just on the components that BigCommerce builds. Anybody can be building new extraordinary website components that go into the library and make it that much more powerful to leverage that library.” - BrentAssociated Links:Check out Future Commerce+ for exclusive content and save on merch and printThe MUSES Journal is here! No, this isn’t about promoting your podcast at the zoo - although it could be. Guerrilla marketing is a low or no-cost unconventional advertising strategy. It allows you to engage with the public on a more personal and memorable level. The cool thing about this too, is that it’s offline, and happens out there in the real world. Examples of guerrilla marketing range from making creative and artistic changes to pre-existing environments, or, leveraging the crowd at some sort of gathering or event. This is all usually without any official permission. On the next few episodes we’re going to give you some examples of podcast promotion tactics that could fall under the guerrilla marketing category. Guerrilla Copywriting Selections, Part 4

Copywriters Podcast

In an earlier part of this century, I produced an audiobook with my late friend and mentor Jay Conrad Levinson, author of the bestselling Guerrilla Marketing series. It was called “Guerrilla Copywriting.” I'm sad to say Jay's no longer with us, and neither is the audiobook. It's out of print. So I'm free to share my half of the material. This is the fourth and final installment of the tips. I've expanded them and added some examples to make them easier to grasp. Before, with the audiobook, you had a whirlwind tour of copywriting rules and techniques. Today, we slowed down the train down a little bit so you can take a look around and think about how you can use these in your own sales copy, landing pages and TikTok videos. But here's something you'll never find on a TikTok video: Copy is powerful. You're responsible for how you use what you hear on this podcast. Most of the time, common sense is all you need. But if you make extreme claims... and/or if you're writing copy for offers in highly regulated industries like health, finance, and business opportunity... you may want to get a legal review after you write and before you start using your copy. My larger clients do this all the time. Of course, that may change if someone sees this as a TikTok Copywriters Podcast “Copy is Powerful” challenge. But that's not what I was hoping for. Now today we had some interesting techniques you can use, as well as super-important reminders, because even subscribers to Copywriters Podcast can get so caught up in their offers that occasionally they don't give fundamentals the attention they deserve. We talked about a way to use stories that most people never do: to anticipate and eliminate objections, before they ever come up. We also covered: • The two jobs really great copy has • Why you should never just “sell a product” • Every prospect's secret last name • Why you should always build up the value of your offer to the max Besides that, we talked about two writing techniques most people don't know about: First, starting sentences with Seducer Words, and second, the enormous power of Hypnotic Stems.
