In this journey you come across so many types of people .. and hey .. the same people can show up more than once hahaha
Never wait on anything to come .. just go That flight ain't comin ... Take the risk ....Everyday ..Power to the mind. DO what it takes for the freedom to do jumping jacks in your HELL
When you take your first step out of the bed in the morning, that thought you have in your mind will influence your entire day. If you wake up with thoughts about what I have to do today, what meetings I have, people I must talk to, things I must accomplish and then you step our foot on the floor. That thought that is in your head at that moment will frame your day. You must cleanse your mind, your emotions before you step out of your bed. You must find your self and your inner peace before you put your foot down and begin this wonderful day. Give thanks to who you are, that you can breathe, see, feel, and love! Don't take for granted that these involuntary gifts will be there tomorrow. Your first thoughts of the day are yours to control and so is your life so embrace it and then "seize the day"! Rifling through the back channels of who dunnit? You always seem to be moving in a tizzy. Does it madder who dun' what? The "WHAT" now "IS" and you need to keep moving.-That is it! It's just it...I'm not moving, I am going through motions, motions I'm in tune with, mostly-but mostly there's a disconnect. This disconnect isn't solely reserved for me, don't seem that way. Luke warm swiss miss, Hallmark channel dreamscapes, I'm not sure how long these heralds of escape can anchor someone, me. I've seen Frasier so many times. The first dozen runs of viewing, I'll ride that off to the writing, to the cast. I'm repeating that with the Big Bang Theory, the attempt to flee into another world. I'm so tuned in, so I can be so tuned out. Let's go back to Frasier, that show captured me when I was an eight year old boy occupying a single bedroom apartment; the "thali" was split between my brother, myself, our rents', and a community of cocklouches, as the building manager would spell them; she gave her word, she was constantly "splaying" to rid the building of those antennae hippies. That flat, Frasier's condo, his world, the accessories to his world was magic. Broomsticks are used to clear the scene of a Raid massacre, maa was too trigger happy.I convinced myself the more I was tuned into the world of Frasier, I'd be able to calibrate mine to sync with that wave. My existence ebbs opposite. Frasier, The Big Bang Theory were the appeasers of my escape, this fluff now is the agitator of my uneasiness. Frasier and his old man constantly clashed, differentiating ideologies born of class structure. Frasier, Niles, the two brothers were the seeds of Martin, to me they seemed to be the fruit occupying the highest branch. Martin was mulch, the elderly thing decaying, inhabiting a decaying recliner housed in the highest branch. We clash with our father, we sit on no particular tier, clashes born of uncertainty, born of the need to grasp on to something. These clashes feel like decaying; the process of decaying is an element in the surgance of life, these clashes aren't that, they're just decay feeding into decay. Sam's recent episode on white supremacy was really something. And for him to have recorded this just after the Gilroy and El Paso shootings is truly obnoxious. It was just so shockingly bad....even by IDW standards - I had to share my thoughts on it. Of course since it's about Sam Harris, I took everything *out of context* and obvs made it unfairly seem like he was saying something, when he was actually saying the opposite (J/k!!!) (Please do check out his entire episode if you'd like to hear the whole thing in context, or if you'd like a good laugh, because it's fkn ridiculous) And if you enjoy the show please consider supporting via Patreon.com/nicemangos because without listeners like you, this isn't possible. Their progression over the years has been mesmerising to witness and now Motionless In White return with their most diverse offering yet, Disguise, which could quite possibly, be one of the best, dark horse releases of the year and this week frontman Chris Motionless joins the podcast to chat all about it. Not only does he delve into the band's progression from the early goth rock era to their now, genre-crossing blend of industrial metal and metalcore but he also shares his thoughts anti-religious opinions which resulted in the band's new track 'Thoughts and Prayers' which is guaranteed to raise a few eyebrows and get people talking/agreeing upon release. The Two Voices By Alfred Lord Tennyson Performed by Leanne Yau and Tom Saer This autobiographical poem was originally titled 'Thoughts of a Suicide' in manuscript, after the death of Tennyson's close friend Arthur Henry Hallam in 1833, and was published following a dark age of ten years during which Tennyson published no new works. In the poem, a voice in the speaker's head urges and cajoles the speaker to suicide, with the speaker offering up various arguments against the idea, only for them to be discredited one by one by the unrelenting voice. Eventually, the poet finds solace in admiring the world around him, but his inner battles are never quite resolved, leading many to criticise this work for its bleak portrayal of suicidal ideation and indecipherable meaning. Audio edited by Leanne Yau This recording may be freely downloaded and distributed, as long as Voices of Today is credited as the author. It may not be used for commercial purposes or distributed in an edited or remixed form. I take us through a challenging question as I share MY personal inner story, and how and why it has been serving me in a detrimental way for years. We got this life! Stay strong and challenge yourself in this beautiful episode of inner stories! This episode challenges us to ask how our inner stories are serving us? The thoughts we think, the sentences and ideas we say to ourselves in our mind or out loud to others are all our "inner stories" that are creating what we see show up in our physical life. Cheers, xoxoV!

This episode of 'Thoughts on the Run' is all about a recent experience I had getting ready for a long run. Sometimes external things get in your way and can throw you off your game. Other times, though, it's your own fault. In this case, I re-learned a valuable lesson about what happens when I'm stressed, how the choices of today can sabatoge the plans for tomorrow and how to cut through excuses when things seem to go sideways.
