In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, it seems every time Abdul El-Sayed, the Michigan Democrat running for U.S. Senate, opens his mouth, chaos ensues. Monday's interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters simply got too personal. They were talking about transgender surgery, and it became intense. Watters kept pressing, saying, “So you think it's OK for a parent to slash his kid's ding-a-ling off?” El-Sayed responded: “Are you circumcised?” Watters said, “Yeah, but that's a personal question, Doctor!” El-Sayed was trying to make the point that a lot of personal medical decisions are made between families and doctors. Watters said that “circumcision is different than castration.” The fallout from this and the countless other senseless comments from El Sayed are atrocious. Last week gave us a little preview of the 2026 midterms, and I think the political class is going to get this wrong. They'll look at individual races. They'll talk about turnout. They'll talk about fundraising. They'll talk about "momentum." They'll pull out some internal poll showing Democrats within striking distance somewhere and tell you the midterms are going to be a referendum on Donald Trump. Fine. But I want to ask a different question: What did Democratic voters actually do when they had the opportunity to choose their candidates? Because that is where things get interesting. Start with Florida. Alexander Vindman lost the Democratic Senate primary to Angie Nixon. Now, this isn't a Republican victory over Vindman. Republicans didn't defeat him. Democrats did. And that's considerably more interesting. Vindman was practically manufactured in a Washington laboratory as the anti-Trump candidate. He was the decorated Army officer who became a central figure in Trump's first impeachment. He had national recognition. He had establishment credibility. He had money. A lot of money. Vindman raised more than $16 million. Nixon raised less than $1 million. And Democratic voters chose Nixon by roughly 56 percent to 44 percent. (The Guardian) Think about what that means. Democrats were handed a candidate who was tailor-made to appeal to the anti-Trump constituency they have spent years cultivating. And they rejected him. Kevin Jackson has been called, the "white-collar" Joe Rogan. Given their similar backgrounds in TV, comedy, and martial arts, it's easy to see why people enjoy Kevin's show so much. There is a lot of talk about DSA candidates, as if left of crazy is something new. There is not. All Democrats have really done is create a label for the most visible faction of their party. They call them DSA. They call them democratic socialists. They call them progressives. They call them the activist wing. But the ideas did not suddenly arrive with the label. The question is not whether DSA is different from Democrats. The question is how different DSA is from Democrats. For years, Democratic politicians have defended or embraced positions involving abolishing ICE, defunding or radically restructuring police departments, dramatically increasing taxes, expanding government income guarantees, decriminalization, lax enforcement, open-border policies and an ever-expanding welfare state. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, President Trump, as Commander-in-Chief, made the decision to go to war with Iran and destroy their nuclear regime. Not Benjamin Netanyahu or anyone else. He did. But the Woke Reich neo-fascist isolationists can't accept that. In the past, Democrats and Republicans would have united behind this decision. Now, Democrats and Democratic Socialists on the left and the Woke Reich on the far right are undermining Trump and our troops. We know what the Iranian regime will do if they get their hands on nukes. We know they already fund terror groups all over the world. We know they push their ideology to the young, including right here in America. Right now, in the USA, weak governors allow fortress mosques to be built in our communities. In their hatred of Jews, the Woke Reich are ok with Iran and Putin. The Woke Reich are the modern-day appeasers of Hitler in the 1930s, but they don't have the integrity to admit it. Also, to serve in Congress is an immense honor, but then you have pigs like Eric Swalwell and Matt "No Pants" Gaetz who get elected. Then we have Jon Ossoff, running for reelection to the Senate, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but trashes capitalism. He went after Trump over Iran and called assistant Natalie Harp and other aides "security blankets." Ossoff called his opponent Mike Collins and his supporters "White nationalists." Where was Jon when Joe Biden was curled up under the desk in the Oval Office? And name one thing he's done in the Senate? It's disgusting how people like Ossoff, Gaetz and Swalwell have conducted themselves while in office. Then, Prince Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah, was asked by a German journalist if he's an Israeli agent. He answered no but he's proud of his grandfather, who gave refuge to Jews while they were being burned in ovens in Germany. Pahlavi would be a great choice to lead an Iranian government-in-exile. Meanwhile, hardliners in the current regime have no intention of agreeing to any deal with the U.S. that doesn't give them control over the Strait of Hormuz. Russia, China and North Korean continue to pour weapons into Iran while we play defense. The regime is using this time to recalibrate and reinforce their police state. It's time to just finish them. Finally, a group of people that the Detroit Free Press describes as "anti-Muslim" held a protest ahead of a city council meeting in Dearborn, MI. The report wrote inflammatory statements about the protestors and said counter-protestors shouted antisemitic remarks. Democrats denounced the protest and expressed support for Muslims in Dearborn.
