It's great to be back in the comfort of the home studio and we're firing right out of the gate this week with a really interesting story about where we stayed at a golf resort in Utah. It involves Patrick Mahomes buying the course and Andy Reid building a house there. You have to hear this. We had some really sad looking Trump protesters this weekend in KC and I feel terrible for them that they can't find something better to do. Dems seem hell bent to stop Trump's tariffs that are bringing tax breaks to Americans and creating peace deals around the world. Yes, Dems, lets stop all these good things from happening so you can blame the prez. The Chiefs have one player they are focusing on more than others Friday in the season opener against the Chargers. It's game week for the first Border War since 2011. Bama, Texas and now Bill Belichick have really bad starts to the college season. And our Final Final is the Chiefs rescuing the good people of Germany from a life without Kansas City's very own creation.... Cheez-It.

August 31, 2025; 7am: All eyes are on Chicago after President Trump's continued threats to deploy the National Guard to the Windy City. On Saturday, Chicago's Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order demanding that Trump stand down. In response, President Trump continued his threats, warning Illinois Governor JB Pritzker to “straighten out” Chicago quickly or the city will be subjected to federal law enforcement takeover. The President has echoed these threats to several Democrat-led cities, and elected officials are issuing a warning: military troops who carry out Trump's orders might be at risk for prosecution. August 30, 2025; 7am: CDC Director Susan Monarez was fired after refusing to resign. Her attorneys said the firing came after she refused to rubber-stamp unscientific, reckless directives in line with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In response, top officials at the agency quit, and hundreds of staffers staged a clap out in support. Plus, Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook has sued the Trump administration over their attempt to oust her. In an emergency hearing, the judge expressed concern over Trump's comments about securing a majority on the board. The resignations of senior leaders at the CDC is a calamity. People with decades of expertise in infectious disease are leaving the agency because the new director—who Trump just appointed—refused to get on board with RFK's anti-vax crusade, including limiting access to Covid boosters. And Wednesday's violence in Minneapolis may be a sign that the FBI should be keeping its eye on the threats from domestic terror instead of arresting day laborers at Home Depot. Meanwhile, Trump's threat to the Fed's independence could pose a real risk to the stability of the U.S. Plus, more on the shifting attitudes about Israel among Dems, the latest attack on Kyiv is another reminder of how much Putin is mocking Trump, and remembering Katrina 20 years later. Join Jim and Greg for the Wednesday 3 Martini Lunch as they note Americans overwhelmingly see a crime problem in the U.S. and a majority likes how Trump is dealing with it. They also wince as Trump welcomes 600,000 Chinese college students into the U.S., and roll their eyes at the left's absurd "land acknowledgements."First, they're glad to see that 81 percent of Americans have the common sense to see that crime is a major problem. That includes 68 percent of Democrats. In addition, 53 percent of Americans approve of how President Trump is dealing with crime. This makes the Democrats' assertions that there really isn't a crime problem in our major cities look utterly ridiculous.Next, they cringe as President Trump says he is perfectly fine allowing 600,000 Chinese students study at American colleges and universities this year. Jim and Greg fume about the American students who suffer a result, and they point out what the Chinese government expects from their students when returning from the U.S.Finally, they shake their heads as the DNC national meeting kicked off with a "land acknowledgement," where someone explains which tribal nation had the land before European settlers allegedly took it from them. It's shameless virtue signaling, but is it backfiring for Democrats and could this practice ever have much more serious implications? Please visit our great sponsors:Upgrade your skincare routine with Caldera Lab and see the difference. CNN delivers a stunning 180, ripping Democrats and declaring their brand is “garbage… bad, bad, bad — like Cracker Barrel!” Networks are in meltdown as Trump threatens to strip FCC licenses from ABC and NBC. MSNBC faces a major shake-up with insiders saying Rachel Maddow could soon exit. Dan Bongino, meanwhile, warns there will be “no protection” as FBI targets expand. Consider this: John Bolton’s home was just raided, putting the former Trump insider under the spotlight. Join Jim and Greg for Tuesday's 3 Martini Lunch as they dig into how the Kamala Harris campaign's extravagant spending left the DNC paying her debts, President Trump's efforts to force Lisa Cook from the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and famed rapper Snoop Dogg getting fed up at LGBT content getting shoved into movies for kids.First, their jaws hit the floor as the New York Times reports that Kamala Harris spent $1.5 billion over a 15-week campaign and DNC had to pay her outstanding debts. There is no silver lining for the Dems from the Harris campaign, and Jim explains why he does not expect her to run in 2028.Next, they dig into the standoff between President Trump and Lisa Cook of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. Trump says Cook is fired for falsely claiming two different homes as her primary residence within a couple of weeks. Cook is refusing to leave the Fed. So, this is headed to court and Jim says Trump might not have the legal high ground here. Finally, they react to Snoop Dogg getting mad that a same-sex couple with a baby was included in the new kids' movie Lightyear. It's part of the Toy Story franchise. The rapper and ubiquitous media figure says his young grandson peppered him with questions about how that could happen, and he was unprepared to answer. Snoop Dogg says that content should not be in movies geared for children, so of course many of the left are now denouncing him. Please visit our great sponsors:Upgrade your skincare routine with Caldera Lab and see the difference.
