WARNING: 2020 might not be your year…. (Well, this got awkward….) First off - chill. Second off - it’s okay. You’re good. Because you’ve come a long way since you got started. And if you play your cards right - you just might start getting results sooner than you think…. This week, we’re talking why it doesn’t matter where you are in your career right now - and how to ensure that you still get where you want.  It’s all on episode #93 of the Tony Rossi Show: Talking about #actorproblems and self-care for artists.    Hey! Have you signed up for the FREE actor self-care newsletter?  Acting is stressful enough. What’s more stressful is when we don’t know why we’re so damn stressed! And how about all those “I should just be grateful and appreciate things” thoughts that tell you not to feel the (really legit) way you’re feeling right now? I got you, friend.  Head on over to www.tonyrossicoaching.com to sign up for the free actor self-care newsletter. I’ll share tips, tricks, and stories (that I don’t post anywhere else) every week, just for artists.  OH - and you’ll also gain access to my free give away, “How to Win the Day!”  Through my own self care routine, I’ve identified three ways you can win the day and make it much easier to experience more positive emotions. Whether you’re going to a day job, heading to an audition, or having one of those “I don’t have time to eat or sleep!” weeks - this audio has some tips for you. Head over to www.tonyrossicoaching.com now and sign up for the email newsletter to grab it - because honestly, you deserve to start winning your day.  Got a question for me?  Shoot me an email - tony.rossi@gmail.com.    Want a free one-on-one coaching call?? I cried at Starbucks this week. Here’s what I learned.

Have you ever cried for no reason at all? I did. This past week. ...until I realized, “OH. That’s why…” Actors are emotional. We don’t always know we’re in a bad mood until we’re hit with (what feels like) a wave of negative energy. And suddenly, we’re like, “Where the hell did this come from?!” This is why it’s so important to a) stay in tune with our feelings, and b) learn to recognize where those feelings are coming from. It’s not easy work. (In fact, it’s one of the reasons why I offer coachings.) Just know that this can be learned. But it takes a lot of work and lots of awareness. Here’s my story of having an ugly cry in a Starbucks bathroom, and how I figured out where those feelings came from. It’s all on episode #65 of the Tony Rossi Show podcast.   Wanna chat with me?   Use this link here to schedule a free one on one. Why should you see a life coach instead of a therapist? Why should you work on your insecurities about yourself before transitioning to a new job? What should you know about some of those actors recurring on TV - that you might not know about them already? ….we’re talking ALL of this with Courtney Rioux on episode #58 of the Tony Rossi Show. Courtney Rioux is an actor, author, and coach based in Chicago. As an actor, you may have seen her as paramedic Courtney on Chicago Med, the “Hot Shot Mom,” or heard her voice on commercials like Hershey's, Jimmy Dean, and Happy Meal. Beyond her work on TV and Voice Over, she offers custom coaching to help you get unstuck and design the life you want. One client described it as therapy without the therapy - more like a great chat with a best friend, reminding you who you are and what you dreamed of as a kid. She is currently working on her book, The Whole Artist. She also teaches at the Green Room Studio in Chicago, and is on the board of many committees on SAG AFTRA Wanna chat with me? (For free?)   Hiring a coach is an investment - no matter how good they are. Let's chat for free to see if we're a good fit. Use this link here to schedule a free one on one. On this episode my guest is Courtney Rioux. Courtney can be seen on NBC’s Chicago Med as Paramedic Courtney. Her voice can currently be heard on spots for Jimmy Dean, McDonalds Happy Meal, and Hershey’s. As a Clarity Coach she helps her clients shift from stuck and unhappy to empowered and joyful. Her fun and easy approach has been described as, "therapy without the therapy!" Courtney and I discuss goal setting and achieve, how she went from a co-star to being on nearly every episode of Chicago Med, and the importance of branding. You can find her at courtneyrioux.com and as Courtney Rioux on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Her preference is Instagram though.
