Vincent Reinhart, chief economist and macro strategist at BNY Investments, says that Monday's temporary halt to the tariff battle between the United States and China significantly reduces the potential for a recession, but it doesn't create the clarity that investors and business leaders are seeking. He believes the U.S. will continue to deliver solid results long-term, but warns that the road to those long-term gains is likely to be bumpy, and even notes that "for now, cash looks pretty attractive." Larry Tentarelli, editor at Blue Chip Daily Trend Report, says that the market's gains Monday continue a trend that has been building since the market bottomed after "Liberation Day." He says the recent moves have crossed trend lines and moved the Nasdaq out of bear-market territory and the recent gains have more room to run. Plus, Paula Fleming, chief spokesman for the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont, talks about avoiding summer scams around roofing, home construction and more.

We talk a lot about confidence on this show—what it is, how to build it, and how to hold onto it in a world that's constantly trying to tear it down. And when it comes to raising confident girls? The most powerful thing we can do isn't lecture or list strategies—it's model it. Because confidence is contagious. Especially when it's real. In this episode, I'm joined by Cyndi Roy Gonzalez, Executive Director of Girls on the Run Greater Boston, an organization that's helping thousands of girls build confidence, community, and the kind of inner strength that lasts well beyond the finish line. Since 2010, they've served over 18,000 girls in Eastern Massachusetts—and they're just getting started. Together, we talk about what it actually takes to help young girls grow into confident women, why we need to challenge the limitations society places on them, and how adults can model the kind of authenticity and courage we hope to see in the next generation. Because confidence isn't just something we teach. It's something we live. In This Episode, We Cover: ✅ Why modeling confidence is the most impactful thing adults can do ✅ How Girls on the Run helps girls tap into their strengths and voice ✅ The role of joy, movement, and connection in developing self-trust ✅ Why confidence is more than achievement—it's about authenticity ✅ How to challenge societal messages that limit girls (and us) The world doesn't need more pretty wallflowers or shrinking violets—it needs authentic, confident humans who speak their truth, live with purpose, and run toward the life they want and the things that matter most—to THEM. Last year, he sold the majority of his stakes in this venture to redirect his efforts toward his latest undertaking: Franchise development for the remarkable company PropertyGuys.com in Massachusetts. In an unexpected turn of events, Brian Walsh, the man previously accused of an elaborate art fraud scheme, now finds himself facing far more serious charges. As the host of the podcast "Hidden Killers" with Tony Brueski sums it up: "What do you do when you're facing pretty serious federal charges and you want those charges to go away, be delayed? Well, you commit a far more heinous crime."   The charges of art fraud originated back in 2018, when Walsh was accused of selling counterfeit Andy Warhol paintings on eBay. According to Brueski, "He's accused of selling two counterfeit Andy Warhol paintings on eBay for $80,000 to a buyer in Los Angeles." Facing charges of wire fraud, interstate transportation for a scheme to defraud, and unlawful monetary transaction, Walsh pled guilty, leading to a forfeiture order demanding he surrender the counterfeit paintings and an additional $225,000.   While this case would have been significant in itself, it pales in comparison to the charges that would later follow. In a twist no one saw coming, Walsh is now accused of the murder of his wife, Ana Walsh, on New Year's Day. The host describes the horrific situation, stating, "Brian Walsh may not have exactly understood that though. Brian Walsh, as you may remember, is the man accused of murdering his wife on New Year's day, going through the horrific Google searches about hiding bodies, disposing of bodies, mutilating a body from the outside in with chemicals."   Evidence presented during Walsh's murder arraignment include a disturbing array of Google searches made in the days following his wife's disappearance. Among these searches were inquiries about disposing of a body, dismembering a body, body decomposition, how to clean up blood, and even questions about inheritance following the death of a spouse.   Ana Walsh, a Serbian-American dual citizen and a successful regional general manager at a real estate company, was reported missing by her employer just a few days after she disappeared on New Year's Day. The tragic narrative extends to the couple's three children, who are now left parentless due to their father's alleged actions.   Investigators believe Ana Walsh's remains were scattered across multiple trash transfer stations in Eastern Massachusetts, some even incinerated or destroyed before investigators could locate them. "Evidence found includes multiple plastic bags containing DNA discovered in a dumpster from Swamp Scott and Peabody Transfer Station," Brueski reports.   In a grim conclusion, Brueski emphasizes the tragic cost of the alleged crimes: "Brian and Anna were married in 2015. There are three kids now that don't have parents because Brian decided the selfish thing to do would be to, you know, murder your wife and then spread her body all over the place."   As the federal art fraud case is put on hold, attention shifts to the impending murder trial. Regardless of the outcome, justice for Ana Walsh is the paramount concern, leaving listeners of the "Hidden Killers" podcast and observers of the case eager for updates in this multi-layered legal saga.   Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Are you ready to unlock the wild wisdom of the animal kingdom? Let's journey through the mystical veil together, as we discover the power of spirit animals and their profound messages. This episode is a spiritual deep dive, an exploration into the symbolic tapestry of nature's wisest creatures, from the powerful bear to the vibrant pheasant. We will discuss the various aspects of our inner beings, such as animal guides who are powerful allies to self-awareness.In the heart of this adventure, you will be guided through a soothing meditation, helping to awaken your intuition and manifest your dreams through the ancient language of Sanskrit mantras. As we strengthen our bond with our own spirit animal, the doors to messages, healing and transformative power will be unlocked. We will also delve into the art of interpreting these messages through shamanic practices. I will further share resources like 'Animal Speak' by Ted Andrews, to help you deepen your understanding of your spirit animal. So, let's embark on this journey together, embracing the wild wisdom of our spirit animals. An inner animal guide or spirit animal can help you in your life, and give you qualities you desire to manifest.  An Inner Guide can be a source of inspiration, intuitive and heightened awareness.  These inner guides can be discovered deep in one's subconscious.  There are different types of Inner Guides such as: the Higher Self, Inner Healer, Inner Teacher, Inner Alchemist, Inner Warrior, Animal Guides as well as Past Life Personalities.  In this episode we will connect to an Animal Guide to offer messages and healing. This episode was inspired by A Bear.  In my Eastern Massachusetts seaside community and locally in other towns around there has been many sightings of a Bear or Bears.  Bears are not native to this area, only further west in Western Massachusetts or North in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.  The Bear visitations have created quite a stir in our local communities.  I asked a colleague who is very connected to indigenous and native elders to find out what the significance is of a bears being in places that aren't their natural habitat.  He told me the bear medicine shows change and transformation coming to those areas in which it is appearing.  I did some research and discovered more about bear medicine. We share our world with animals.  They can be our teachers about the lessons we are currently learning in life.  There are many interpretations of the symbolism of different animals we can find on the internet as well as in animal Medicine Cards, such as the deck by Jamie Sams or Messages from Your Animal Spirit Guides Oracle Cards:  Cards by Stephen Farmer, or  the Druid Animal Oracle deck The Druid Animal Oracle Deck by Philip Carr-Gomm , and Stephanie Carr-Gomm.Animals can give us messages, when we spot them in our day to day life.  It is especially important to note when an animal that is not native to an area shows up in your life, as did the bear down my street.  According to certain Shamanic practices, an animal needs to successively show up in your life 3 times or 3 of the same animal at once to be considered a messenger animal.  I often see three crows or ravens (when I'm out west) at a time. The Crow or Raven symbolizes the Planet Saturn known as Shani in Vedic Astrology.  So I always say “Hi Shani,” what you got for me today?  Usually something karmic is being burned off! So keep your eyes open for what Animal messenger is showing up in your life successively and then go google the meaning, or get some animal cards to interpret the lesson for you.www.jilljardineastrology.comSupport the show
