In the previous episode, Dr. Masha talked about her journey from the Soviet Union with only $80 and a small suitcase to becoming a successful entrepreneur and coach in America. You're not going to succeed in your relationship or business if you don't take care of your body and your health.” “You cannot achieve anything different in your life if you stay the same … You gotta become the kind of person that can live that life.” “For those who are thinking that they want to head into the world of an entrepreneur, balance is a luxury that you're never going to be able to afford. Nowhere in our lives are we ever equally balanced, but we can have harmony in the midst of what's going on.” “The only way to teach someone is to be an example to follow — is to show by doing. Walk the walk, talk the talk.” “I see selfish as taking care of self. I don't see it as a bad thing. I see it as a good thing, because it's only when we take care of ourselves, it's only when we fill our cups, it's only when we're happy that we can share that happiness. It's when we're wealthy that we can share that wealth. You can't pour from an empty cup.” “Not doing what you don't want to do just keeps you in that nice space, so I could give quality time to my children.” “If I'm scared, it means I need to do it. I call it my fearless muscle.” “Life is about having all kinds of experiences and feeling the emotions, and just kind of being fully in it.” “People will forget what you do. "Welcome to the Nine Worlds, home of Gods, Valkyries, Dwarves, and more!" promises MacMillan Publishsers about the latest series by my guest; author and artist George O'Connor. George created the 12 volume series The Olympians and just released Thor in October 2024, the second book of his series The Asgardians. The first volume of The Asgardians series, Odin, was released in March 2024. We talk about his process for bringing the myths of these two popular pantheons as illustrated storytelling. It was a fun and interesting discussion to hear about George's interest with the Norse stories and how they have been a part of his life for so long and still inspiring ways to be told. And it's always nice to get a behind the scenes scoop on how ideas come about, the creative process, and other bits of writing and drawing a graphic novel about such interesting characters and adventures. Both series' can be ordered through your local book store. Find out more about George's works at MacMillan Publishers. Join me for this, potentially controversial, episode of the "Make Time for You" podcast as I tackle the pervasive myth of laziness and explore how societal pressures to be constantly productive impact our well-being. I uncover the stigmatisation of rest and how it pushes us into a cycle of overwork, triggering the chronic stress response that reduces our efficiency and leads to burnout. Discover the necessity of switching off the stress response to maintain energy and creativity, and how the guilt associated with taking time for self-care is rooted in societal expectations, often formed from childhood.Listen in as I challenge the misconception of laziness through a real-life client story, revealing how misaligned values and overwhelming feelings, rather than inherent laziness, affect motivation. I explore practical steps to boost motivation and tackle overwhelmingly large tasks, emphasizing the importance of self-care and starting small to build momentum. AP correspondent Shelley Adler reports a new survey says while most teens felt better when they went without smartphones many of them won't give the phones up.
It started 10 months ago with the first episode of this new podcast, trying my best to talk about the struggles and pain I have faced with my past relationship. All the ups and downs, just like a rollercoaster! There is a lot of progress that I've made since that time, definitely has not been easy and there have been a lot of triggers and set backs. When you begin to see the truth and feel what respect, dignity, compassion is like again it doesn't take long to become happy, safe and willing to take on the uncertainty of life. Want to Contact Me? Most of us have had or have relationships we aren't happy with, but it can be hard to know how to fix them because we don't want to cut people out of our lives. By using reciprocity, while it's no silver bullet to solve every problem, it helps us feel balanced in our relationships so we can feel good about ourselves and people in our lives. It also helps us recognize the people we can really count on and that we should go above and beyond to help when they are in need too. Happy, healthy, balanced relationships are a fundamental key to a successful and fulfilling life, and the law of reciprocity can help us to achieve that.#entrepreneur #worklifebalance #relationships #lawofreciprocity #growsales #productivity #business #success #entrepreneurslife #entrepreneurialmindset #entrepreneurtips #entrepreneurmind #entrepreneurmotivation #optyoumize #brettingram #digitalmarketing #onlinemarketing #digitalmarketer

Working moms often say, “I have everything I want, but I don't feel happy”. What I have found is that higher achievers have patterned into themselves a feeling of “not enough” which makes it difficult to feel happy. So, to make feeling happy easier and more regular, it is something you must practice. Today on the podcast I want to teach you the simplest way to practice feeling happy, in 30 seconds or less. This daily practice will help bring you back into the moment and give your body a full happiness experience that will help to make all those “good feelings” more of the default. Topics in this episode:Circumstances don't dictate your happinessThe “struggle story” many high achievers believe Your brain is not hardwired for happiness Something your kids do everyday that will help you be more present and happy Remember when your kids would stop and smell the roses? Show Notes:Gratitude is helpful on several levels. It can help strengthen relationships, help reduce stress, healthier physical body because you might end up lowering your blood pressure, fostering stronger resilience, and having a more positive mindset. But the thing I love the most about gratitude is how it magnifies our Lord and Savior in everything He does for us.Psalm 9:1, “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.”Also, the opportunity to thank God for anything & everything is always there. So if it's easier to show gratitude by thanking someone, thank Him. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”And when we show gratefulness, we need not forget all the hard stuff, and the lessons we learned, too. Another verse says, James 1:2-4, “My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.”When we give God all the glory, we stir up our own hearts to have stronger, deeper trust, belief & faith in Him, as well as honor Him in how He takes care of us & how He can take care of others, if they give their heart to Him.When we practice gratitude, we remind ourselves that NOT everything in life is bad. Here are the 5 tips I would use when needing to know How to Become More Grateful for Everything:Become More Mindful with Awe & WonderPractice mindfulness by being present as much as possible.Experience the awe & wonder of everything around you. Practice Forgiveness & AcceptanceStop holding onto painful feelings & experiences for the sake of holding it against someone. Become more accepting of unexpected situations. Give Back to OthersSpend some time giving back to others, which will help you reflect on how blessed your own life is.Comfort Negative Thoughts with GratitudeIt's healthy to express how you feel. Express how you feel & couple it with something positive that you're grateful for. Keep a Log of Your GratitudeIt could be a journal or the notes app on your phone but have a place you can write down what you are grateful for.Support the showWatch the Video Version of RPG: https://www.youtube.com/@realpositivegirl/podcastsBuy the Planner on AMAZON!: https://amzn.to/3WwthT2Visit me on Instagram or TikTok: @sabrinajoyperozzoTwitter: @realsabrinajoyEmail Me: realpositivegirlpodcast@gmail.com Sign up for my weekly newsletter https://www.sabrinajoy.com/newsletterCashApp Show Donations: $sabrinaperozzo
