Send us a textGabriel Rshaid takes us on a compelling journey through the evolving landscape of education in the age of artificial intelligence. As the director and co-founder of both the Learner Space and the Global School in Argentina, Gabriel brings a unique perspective on how we might harness AI's potential while safeguarding the essential human elements of learning.Drawing from his transformation from traditional teacher to educational innovator, Gabriel offers refreshingly honest insights about why previous waves of educational technology failed to revolutionize schools. "We've always used these tools to enhance teaching when they were really apt for enhancing learning," he explains, highlighting how our fundamental narrative about teachers' purpose prevented meaningful change. This time, however, the disruption is unavoidable – AI can complete "an overwhelming majority of school assignments without having to learn," forcing educators to reimagine their approach from the ground up.What makes this conversation particularly valuable is Gabriel's practical experience implementing AI in his own school. Rather than banning these tools or pretending they don't exist, the Global School openly discusses appropriate AI use with students while creating engaging projects that leverage its capabilities. From interactive historical simulations to mathematical modeling of election outcomes, Gabriel demonstrates how AI can extend cognitive development rather than replace it.Perhaps most thought-provoking is his identification of confidence as "the missing C" in education – beyond the typical creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. By nurturing self-confident learners who believe in their capacity to adapt, unlearn, and relearn, we prepare them for an uncertain future where the relationship between humans and machines continues to evolve. Gabriel's chess metaphor for education's future offers both caution and hope: just as chess players have improved alongside AI rather than being replaced by it, our students might develop deeper intuition and skills by learning with these powerful tools.Ready to rethink your approach to education in the AI era? Listen now for insights that will challenge your assumptions and inspire new possibilities for teaching and learning.

In today's episode, I'm sharing my journey of discovering God's healing power and the incredible experiences I've had at the Global School of Supernatural Ministry. I'm diving into the 5-Step Prayer Model for Healing, offering practical steps, biblical insights, and inspiring personal stories of faith in action. Whether you're new to prayer or a seasoned believer, this episode equips and encourages you to step out in bold faith to see lives transformed. We're covering the 5 steps prayer model:  Step 1: The Interview Ask thoughtful questions to understand the root cause of someone's pain or sickness. Examples include, "When did this start?" and "What is your pain level from 1-10?" Step 2: Prayer Selection Choose between a petition prayer (asking God) or a command prayer (declaring healing in Jesus' name). Step 3: Prayer Ministry Follow the Holy Spirit's lead, share testimonies to build faith, and pray short, intentional prayers while keeping your eyes open for God's work. Step 4: Re-Interview Assess the changes in pain or condition after praying. Continue praying and asking for more healing if needed. Step 5: Post-Prayer Suggestions Encourage recipients to take authority over their healing, follow up with a doctor, and pay it forward by praying for others.   (If you're listening on a podcast app, be sure to also check out the video of this episode, which includes a full presentation you can follow along with: https://www.youtube.com/@rachelngom9131) __________________________________________________________   Ready for more? Welcome to another enlightening episode of the Nèg Mawon Podcast, your go-to platform for in-depth discussions that unearth the complexities of Haitian history, culture, and contemporary challenges. I'm your host, Patrick Jean-Baptiste, and today we're diving deep into a topic that is fundamental to understanding Haiti's present by exploring its past. This episode is about the Haitian people, not their early leaders, some of whom we've literally turned into gods. This episode is about the moun endeyo and what remains of their legacy. In the cacophony of hardship that reverberates through Haitian history, we find the silent echoes of their resistance—they're the Army of Sufferers who shaped the nation in anonymity and struggle. In this episode, titled "The Struggle for Soil: Haitian Peasantry and the Seeds of Rebellion," I am immensely privileged to welcome Dr. Mimi Sheller, a beacon of scholarship and the Dean of the Global School at WPI. We're here to unravel the threads of Haitian fortitude and democratization embodied in the resistance of the moun endeyo, whose efforts and processes are seldom reflected in mainstream historical narratives. Our conversation traverses the deep economic desperation that has led to waves of outmigration that we see today on our screens, the assertion of the gangs, filling the security vacuum  in response to the absence of the state, and the disruptions in the rural economy that have torn the fabric of traditional living that existed for hundreds of years. Haiti's story, it seems, is likened to a war, not of arms, but of power and provision and the endless fight for positive developmental opportunities in the shadow of military might coupled with domestic and foreign interests. Untold generations of our ancestors are buried in unvisited tombs and silenced in the historical records. But thanks to the efforts of imminent scholars like Dr. Mimi Sheller, some of them escaped the colonial archives.  Dr. Sheller takes us through the everyday lives of 19th century Haitians, revealing the voices of the Haitian peasantry manifested through resistance. We reflect on the phrase, "You Signed My Name, but Not My Feet” as Dr. Sheller dissects the layers of democratization and the struggles inherent in Haiti's fight against slavery and external powers. We revisited the Piquet  Rebellion, spearheaded by the enigmatic, barefoot Jean Jacques Acau, who carried the mantle of the common people against the forces of the ruling class. We explore the deep roots of resistance, the African-derived collective ownership traditions, and the intricate bureaucracy entwined with land distribution, all within the context of Haiti's revolutionary legacy—a legacy that redefined democracy and stirred the Atlantic world yet remains on the periphery of historiographical recognition. So, sit back, tune in, and journey through time as we delve into "The Struggle for Soil: Haitian Peasantry and the Seeds of Rebellion," with the inimitable Dr. Mimi Sheller on the Nèg Mawon Podcast. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/negmawonpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/negmawonpodcast/support

David's story illustrates his commitment to making every ordinary moment into a special 'Moment' with a capital 'M' by understanding statistics but still remaining grounded in the present and controlling what he can. The Conscience is a foundational way that God speaks to us and guides us. "Conscience" is an internal self knowledge of right and wrong, good and evil. Every decision is processed through the conscience that bears witness to the existence of God. It is in the conscience that you feel either conviction or condemnation. It is the conscience in which discernment is developed, which must be sanctified and submitted to the truth of God's Word by the renewing of your mind by the guidance of Holy Spirit. When you deny the internal witness of God, it creates turmoil and conflict in the soul that you then have to find a way to fill and treat the pain. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. Romans 9:1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2 that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. A Global Awakening Associate Evangelist, William Wood is also a graduate of the Global School of Supernatural Ministry and founder of the Relentless conference. The Encouragement Engineering podcast offers listeners the ability to combat the negativity that inundates our daily lives with a positive perspective and positive actions. Our guest today is Shelby Scarbrough. Our guest today has a core belief that fostering solid relationships is the key to working through every issue that humanity faces. She also believes that we all could use a little more joy in our lives. Without civility there is little hope of finding joy. Likewise, without joy, civility crumbles. So, she embarked on a journey to bring a little bit of both back into the world. She began a mission to create her own purposeful practice of civility.   Most recently, Shelby founded the Global School of Entrepreneurship™ to provide entrepreneurs with MBA programs that are built around them, not institutions. The signature programs are built to let entrepreneurs apply their real-world experience to the traditional MBA subject matter so what you learn can have an immediate impact on what matters most to you and your business. This week on the Wealthy Wellthy Podcast, I interviewed Shelby Scarbrough.  Shelby and I met through one of my favorite podcast guests, Justin Breen. Justin is a master at connecting the two people who need to know each other. He hit the nail on the head with this one – Shelby and I are cut from the same cloth. She has an amazing story from traveling the world with presidents and dignitaries to becoming a successful entrepreneur who owns an accredited MBA school for entrepreneurship.  In this episode, we discuss Shelby's experiences working with the most powerful leaders in the world. She tells me what traits these leaders share that make them so successful, traits from which everyone can benefit.  Shelby gives us her take on the importance of restoring civility to personal and public discourse, a topic about which she wrote a book titled, Civility Rules. She explains that civility is a personal responsibility and that once people adopt civility in their personal lives, it will return to politics.  Finally, we dive deep into my favorite topic, entrepreneurism. Shelby was raised by entrepreneurs, working in her parents Burger King franchises from an early age. She maintained that entrepreneurial spirit even when she worked in the US Department of State, eventually combining her commitment to public service with her business acumen by opening the Global School of Entrepreneurship.  In this episode, you will learn:  Traits of effective leadership Ins and outs of working with world leaders Effects that a disconnected society has on civility The difference between entrepreneurship and self-employment   Here are some of my favorite Shelby quotes:  What did you learn from being up close and personal to the President?  “For sure, it taught me the meaning of excellence and professionalism, because everything mattered, and I had to learn how to adjust if I was not perfect, but it was a hard lesson at first and a valuable one long term.” What traits or practices do world leaders share that make them effective?  “The top leaders in the world think differently, act differently, and show grace to other people.”    How can we use technology to bring us together? “When you look at all the things that we see in this world of technology, the best use of it is to create better connection. So the ability to look at each other right now (on Zoom) makes for a better discussion in my mind.” Where do you think entrepreneurs go wrong, and what's the difference between those entrepreneurs and business owners that succeed and those that just can't ever quite make it work? “When it's time to pivot, it's nice to have a term for it, but when it's time to stay the course, it's really difficult. There's something that I've worked on a little bit, and it's recognizing when to say, enough's enough, and to do it differently. I first look inward, versus looking outward, and I ask myself what I am doing or can do that will help me achieve whatever my goal is.” Shelby's Myth Bust... “Entrepreneurship is more than a practitioner doing this thing for yourself. It's about building a great business that affects people's lives.”  To learn more about Shelby's MBA School for Global Entrepreneurship, click here.   To purchase Shelby's book, Civility Rules!, on Amazon click here.

It is a proven path to our joy.  Morals are subjective, and everyone views what's "right" and "wrong" differently.  Where do you fall in the spectrum of having a solid moral compass?
