He won the HYROX world championship in 2022 and 2023, and had been favourite for the 2024 race in Nice, but ultimately finished 5th in a performance well below his expectations. In this episode I get to chat with 5 different top level HYROX athletes. On 13th and 14th of April, we will see the first of the last chance qualifiers where a large number of people will be battling it out in the Pro divisions in Cologne, trying to earn themselves a spot in the Elite races at the HYROX World Championships in Nice. The field is wide open on both the mens and the womens side though in the mens race it is only the winner who will claim their spot, and on the womens side it is the top 3. Ahead of these huge races I wanted to get some of the athletes who will be competing on to the show and have a chat with them. We talk about their training, their mindset, how they're feeling, their taper plans ahead of the race, and lots more.
