Wie können die Erfahrungen von Überlebenden von Genoziden und anderen Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit gesammelt und zugänglich gemacht werden? Damit beschäftigt sich das kanadische Forschungsprojekt "Survivor-Centred Visual Narratives", in dem die Geschichten von Überlebenden gesammelt und mit künstlerischen Mitteln zugänglich gemacht werden. Auf diese Weise sind zum Beispiel Filme und Comics in Zusammenarbeit mit Überlebenden des Holocaust entstanden. Der Comickünstler Tobi Dahmen hat in diesem Rahmen die Geschichte eines Studenten aufgezeichnet, der in Syrien politisch verfolgt wurde. "Al-Fazia' - Das Grauen" heißt der Comic, der heute im Carlsen Verlag erscheint. Tobi Dahmen erzählt auf radio3, warum es wichtig ist, mehr über das Schicksal von politisch Verfolgten in Syrien zu wissen.

Doch es kommt auf die Förderer und, zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort zu sein, an.“ Roman bestätigt den Eindruck, der sich längst nicht nur auf Torhüter reduzieren lässt. Herzlich willkommen zur Episode 41 der Blechgedanken. Was erwartet euch in dieser Folge? Ein Gespräch mit Tobi Dahmen – denn er war mein Gast in Episode 41. Tobi Dahmen ist – und das ist eine Besonderheit für die Blechgedanken – der erste Interviewpartner, der keine eigene Vespa besitzt, aber trotzdem ziemlich gut weiß, was in der Vespa-Szene so passiert ist. Der ein oder andere wird ihn bestimmt kennen, denn er ist der Autor und Zeichner von Fahrradmod. Er war damals schon bei vielen Runs dabei – manchmal als Sozius, meistens aber als Autofahrer oder Beifahrer – und hat das damals Erlebte autobiografisch festgehalten. Anfangs als einzelne Zeichnungen, unter anderem in der Motoretta und irgendwann wurde daraus ein richtiger Comic – oder besser gesagt: eine Graphic Novel.Worüber haben wir uns unterhalten? Über alles Mögliche – sehr viel über die Vespa-Szene, was er damals so mitbekommen hat, warum er selbst keine Vespa fährt, wie er das Ganze aus der Perspektive eines Nicht-Vespa-Besitzenden gesehen hat – und natürlich kam auch das Thema Comic nicht zu kurz. Zum einen, weil es ein Thema ist, das mich seit frühster Kindheit getriggerte und beschäftigt hat. Wir haben bei den Comics, die wir gerne gelesen haben und durch die wir sozialisiert worden sind viele Parallelen festgestellt. Er ist nicht nur Lesender geblieben, sondern Selbsterschaffender geworden - ich hingegen blieb „Konsument“ :)Ich habe mich sehr über das Gespräch gefreut – wir hatten uns vorher noch nicht kennengelernt. Ich habe das Interview Anfang Juli aufgezeichnet – in der Woche, in der er am Wochenende auch in Hannover eine Lesung zu seinem neuen Buch hatte.
Das Buch hat mit Rollern zwar relativ wenig zu tun, aber viel mit dem Thema Demokratie.Ich kann nur sagen: Tobi, herzlichen Dank! Erstens für deine Zeit für den Podcast – und zweitens für die vielen tollen Informationen, die wir austauschen konnten. Ich glaube: Auch wenn du kein Vespa-Fahrer bist – du hast eine Menge aus der Szene mitbekommen und kannst vieles dazu sagen. Anlass ist ein auf der 95. Justizministerkonferenz am 5. Juni 2024 in Hannover gefasster Beschluss der Justizministerinnen und Justizminister der Länder, „dass grundlegender Reformbedarf [der volljuristischen Ausbildung] nicht besteht”. Kaiser Friedrich, a vessel steeped in history, was built in 1886. It recently marked its return to service with a ceremonial christening in central Berlin. In a bid to preserve its legacy, its owners refitted the historic 30-meter vessel with a modern, emission-free electric drive system by the world leader in electric mobility on the water, Torqeedo. Kaiser Friedrich, Berlin's oldest passenger vessel goes green The Kaiser Friedrich, a twin-screw steamship, plied Berlin's waters for almost 80 years before it was decommissioned in 1967 and converted into offices and residential space. In 1986, the German Museum of Technology purchased the 100-ton boat and restored it to its original appearance. For several years, the Kaiser Friedrich once again delighted guests with historical city tours until its engines, which used over 150 liters of diesel per hour, made operation both ecologically and economically unviable. The museum reclaimed the boat in 2012 and started the search for Kaiser Friedrich's next chapter. In 2022, Volker Marhold and Julius Dahmen, who both have experience converting historic boats to electric propulsion, purchased the Kaiser Friedrich. In close collaboration with Torqeedo's Customized Solutions team, the conversion to an ultra-efficient electric drive system with twin Deep Blue 50 kW inboard motors and a 400 kWh Deep Blue battery bank was expertly completed by the Tangermünde Shipbuilding and Development Company in Genthin, Germany. Starting on 13 May, Berliners and visitors to the "Athens on the Spree" can enjoy an eco-friendly city tour on board this legendary passenger vessel. At night, the city's most famous boat transforms into a floating beer garden during the 3.5-hour Old Berlin Beer Evening. Online booking is available at www.kaiserfriedrich.berlin. Paul Dahmen is the Gallery Director at Markowicz Fine Art's third location in Laguna Niguel, California. He was inspired to start painting with oil and acrylic paints by the age of nine with the encouragement of his grandmother, who had painted her entire life. However, an artist's life was not in the cards for him because he could not get through a university drawing class to save his life. Dahmen graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Art History from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Los Angeles after his studies to work in the film and television industry, and did so for over a decade, with the goal of working in the arts in some capacity in the future. Although he couldn't draw, his passion for the arts never diminished. He decided he would prefer representing artists in a gallery setting to help “connect the dots” between art collectors and artist's creations. This true passion led him to Laguna Beach to actively pursue his art gallery career.
