This is the third episode in a series of discussions about healthcare data challenges and data management practices in the US. One thing is clear to everybody: regardless of the efforts, patient data is still scattered around in different organizations. In the first episode, you can listen to a discussion with the CEO and co-founder of Komodo Health, Arif Nathoo. Komodo Health currently has some part of the healthcare data of 330 million people in the US. One of the leading providers of electronic healthcare records systems in the US is EPIC. When I hear the term value-based care, I think about a provider group taking on full or partial risk for the care of a patient. But I also think of value-based care in terms of the patient journey across a condition or an episode of care. Outside of primary care, health plans have struggled to implement payment arrangements for specialists and hospitals that factors in the cost and quality of care across the continuum.   What has made this so challenging? Data – or the lack thereof. For years payors and providers have struggled to define a true episode of care and attach a payment and quality score to it. There is a company that is addressing this challenge by analyzing patient journeys on a holistic basis to better understand the full constellation of costs associated with healthcare encounters.   With me is Sun Web, co-founder and President at Komodo Health. Komodo Health is a healthcare technology company creating a new standard for real-world data and analytics through its platform, which enables real-time, actionable insight into the treatment, diagnosis, costs, and outcomes of millions of patients across the U.S. The company's foundational belief is that all healthcare stakeholders need a reliable “ground truth” understanding of the patient journey in order to understand the reality of patient experiences and address the burden of disease. With that at its core, Komodo is transforming the way the industry interacts with data and insight — fueling critical intelligence for stakeholders across healthcare.   Show Notes: book: No Rules, Rules: Netflix and the Culture of Reinvention by Reed Hastings and Erin Meyer.

Disforia Gender dan Resesi Seks, Wajah Buruk Penerapan Kapitalisme Oleh. Dia Dwi Arista (Tim Redaksi NarasiPost.Com) Voice over talent: Dewi Nasjag NarasiPost.Com-Dunia Barat sedang gempar. Welcome to Reimagining Company Culture, a series discussing emerging trends and priorities shaping the future of workplace culture and employee wellbeing. We highlight thought leaders who are constantly evolving their strategy and can provide insight to folks about how to address new business challenges.  AllVoices is on a mission to create safe, happy, and healthy workplaces for all, and we're excited to learn from experts who share our mission. In this episode of Reimagining Company Culture, we're chatting with Kathleen Ragelis, Senior Director of People at Komodo Health. Kathleen has extensive experience supporting teams from 100 to 1,000+ employees across the US, Europe, and Asia as a strategic HR partner.Tune in to learn Kathleen's thoughts on intentionally growing your company culture at scale, innovating your retention strategy, equity-driven leadership, and more!About AllVoices In today's workforce, people often don't feel empowered to speak up and voice their opinions about workplace issues, including harassment, bias, and other culture issues. This prevents company leadership from making necessary changes, and prevents people from feeling fulfilled, recognized, and included at work. At AllVoices, we want to change that by providing a completely safe, anonymous way for people to report issues directly to company leaders. This allows company leadership real transparency into what's happening in their companies—and the motivation to address issues quickly. Our goal is to help create safer, more inclusive companies.

We're about to launch our new season of HR Superstars in September, so we wanted to give you a sneak peek at which amazing guests you can expect to hear from. First, we kick off with brain science. Ann Herrmann-Nehdi, shares how Herrmann's HBDI Brain Dominance Instrument assessment differs from personality assessments, using a proprietary Whole Brain Thinking approach to make it easy to build alignment, engagement, and agility across your organization. Next, Kathleen Ragelis, Head of People at Komodo Health, shares her experience with the power of vulnerable conversations and storytelling and how they translate to business results. And we're really excited to share the interview with advisor and Chief People Officer, Julie Rogers. People leaders have a lot on their plate, and Julie and Shane talk about how unfortunate it is that despite all they do, people leaders are often set up for failure. Shane also catches up with Jon Greenawalt, who leads Transform, 15Five's coaching and manager training solution. And finally, we wrap the season by talking to Christine Maxwell, Chief People Officer at Rippling, one of the most innovative HRIS companies around. FORGET MICRO-NETWORKS: HOW AVANEER HEALTH IS BUILDING THE ONE HEALTH DATA EXCHANGE TO RULE THEM ALL

What BIG thing is Avaneer Health building with its $50 million SEED round backed by not-just-investors-but-also-partners CVS Health, Aetna, Anthem, Cleveland Clinic, HCSC, PNC Bank, Sentara Healthcare and IBM Watson Health? CEO Stuart Hanson stops by to clear-up the mystery that IS Avaneer Health, and how the massive data exchange platform it's building is meant to connect the data coming out of the biggest payers and biggest providers in healthcare, directly and in real-time. Hang on – is this the blockchain-based data exchange healthcare has been talking about for more than a decade?? It sure is trying to be. And what Stuart says is different about Avaneer's effort is, indeed, the fact that it's backed by some of the biggest brands in the business and that they see the business case in being able to more effectively share their data with one another. As he explains it, “this problem of data interoperability and data fluidity is bigger than any competitive business model that they need to worry about…” Stuart is careful to explain what Avaneer IS and what it IS NOT, and this is critical to the company's growth plans and revenue model. Avaneer is NOT a data intermediary; it's not about aggregating data, normalizing it, de-identifying it, or applying any fancy machine learning algorithms to it to deliver “insights” on it. Avaneer is strictly a platform for secure, compliant data exchange, so, for example, Anthem can connect to Cleveland Clinic in real-time and verify insurance coverage. The revenue model is currently built around access to the network and will one-day-soon also take in fees from ‘Solutions Innovators' (aka data-aggregating, algorithm-loving, insights-dropping health tech companies) that will offer their services as add-on's to Avaneer's customers who are plugged into the network. What's ahead for this stealthy start-up as it scales? Could they REALLY be looking to raise a follow-on seed round?? Find out what kind of investors they're looking for and what's ahead on their product roadmap in this in-depth chat. *** Jessica DaMassa, the emerging ‘It girl' of health tech interviewing, chats it up with the ‘who's who' of the health tech and healthcare innovation set on 'WTF Health - What's the Future, Health?'
