Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard (born 17 August 2003), known professionally as the Kid Laroi (stylised as The Kid LAROI), is an Australian rapper and singer. He originally gained recognition from his association and friendship with American rapper Juice Wrld while he was on tour in Australia. He gained a local following before joining a partnership agreement with Lil Bibby's Grade A Productions and Columbia Records, and attained further popularity in 2020 with his collaboration with Juice Wrld on "Go", which peaked at number 52 on the Billboard Hot 100.His debut mixtape, F*ck Love (2020), peaked at number one on the Australian ARIA Charts, making him the youngest Australian solo artist ever to reach the top of the chart, and also reached number one on the US Billboard 200. Additionally, Howard's songs "Without You" and its remix with Miley Cyrus, and his collaboration with Justin Bieber, "Stay", reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, with "Stay" peaking at number one for seven non-consecutive weeks.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of Juice WRLD's new album, Fighting Demons, which features new track “Sometimes,” is out now. The original version of the album features collaborations with Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd, SUGA of BTS, and Polo G. Fighting Demons vinyl, CDs and cassettes are available via 999club.com, along with album merch bundles. Limited edition exclusive opaque red vinyl editions are available only at Target. Earlier this month, Juice's team released a music video for the late artist's single, “Cigarettes.” The official music video follows the release of the official music video for “Go Hard 2.0,” which is also included on the new Fighting Demons (Digital Deluxe Edition). Directed by Steve Cannon, the music video includes a cameo from standout actor Angus Cloud from HBO's hit show Euphoria and touches on the complexities and nuances of overcoming addiction. “Cigarettes” was originally leaked in 2018 and quickly became a fan favorite. These are his first new songs since his last album, Fighting Demons was released in December. Recently, Juice's manager Lil Bibby and music video director Steve Cannon partnered exclusively with Vevo for the latest installment of Vevo Footnotes to reveal new insight behind making the posthumous video tribute “Already Dead.” In the visual, Lil Bibby and Steve Cannon talk about almost losing the session to the song, Juice WRLD's struggles with inner demons and his dreams of one day creating his own amine. “Already Dead” was the lead single from Juice WRLD's fourth studio album Fighting Demons. In the video, Cannon explains the idea behind the video, saying, “This character is named ‘Anti-Juice.' He represents the internal struggle Juice faced within himself. Anti-Juice regenerating is a metaphor for the resilience of mental health issues. Every time Juice appears to get a leg up on Anti-Juice, he bounces back more fiercely (a classic anime trope).” description source: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/digital-deluxe-version-juice-wrld-200342718.html?msclkid=25f04272aa5911ecb2e5e9c8acfae489 --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/masseffect/support
On Friday, Juice WRLD's estate will release Fighting Demons, the second posthumous album from the Chicago rapper. Today, his Instagram page shared the tracklist for the project: it's 18 tracks long, and sports features from Justin Bieber, SUGA of BTS, Polo G, and Trippie Redd. See the announcement post below, which includes the album's cover art. Lil Bibby, the head of Juice WRLD's label, first revealed in October that a follow-up to Juice WRLD's posthumous LP Legends Never Die was in the works. Two singles have been released in advance of the project: "Already Dead" and "Wandered to LA" featuring Justin Bieber. Next week, HBO will premiere a documentary on Juice WRLD's life and music called Into The Abyss. An animated film based on his music is also in development. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/masseffect/support
Juice WRLD's latest song “Already Dead” is here. The song is set to appear on the official soundtrack for HBO Documentary Films' Music Box series episode Into the Abyss—an “intimate and often eye-opening exploration” of the late rapper's life, according to a statement. Juice's team opened up a preorder to sell “Already Dead” as single CDs for 99 cents, which have already sold out. Back in June, it was announced that his next album would be released as a trilogy, the first of which is titled The Party Never Ends. “It's 3 parts to the album,” Lil Bibby wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “First part of the album is 90% done, jus waiting on [Travis Scott] spam him!” Juice's former manager, Peter Jideonwo, revealed prior to Bibby's tweet that the first installation would include features from Lil Uzi Vert and “a few other big people.” --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/masseffect/support

Episode 39: Even with being connected to the world at just a fingertip away, Matt has been able to stay grounded and have direction for where he has wanted to take his life. It hasn’t been easy for him and the path of getting him to where he is today hasn’t always been clearly laid out. What’s helped him along his journey has been spending a lot of time alone to reflect and learn without anyone distracting him. He grew up in a small town in Whately, MA where he learned how to understand people, build patience and become a caring and genuine person. Matt attended Holyoke Community College pursuing video for a year where he would stay late to learn editing software and was making use of all the available equipment the school had to offer. Freelance opportunities started to roll in steady so he dropped out of school, quit his job and went head first into editing and he became obsessed with it. 2014 seemed to be the year that everything started to click. He worked alongside singer-songwriter Sebastian Mikael and went on a radio run for several weeks with him after his big release of “Last Night ft Wale”, hopped on Huey Macks ‘Pretending Perfection’ tour which he appreciated the chance to travel a bit of the U.S. and eventually got pulled out to live in LA for sometime working with artist Bobby Grant who he had met via Twitter. Working strictly with Bobby for sometime and even doing a couple dates with him on the West Coast for a Blackbear run, LA had shown Matt it was simply just a location where he worked and that it only made sense to be there when he was fully confident in what he was producing. Chicago was his next stop where he moved in with his friend Jake Reeder, a creative with a similar mindset as him and he began operating out of the midwest with one of his new clients “Lil Bibby”. All the while living there he was still accepting business in MA and was frequently making the 16 hour drive to and from Chicago. There was no question if Matt was committed to his passion and he was making sure to jump on any opportunity that excited him and made sense for both parties. Now living back his hometown, Matt is focused on being able to visually bring feelings to his projects and is fine tuning his craft before he moves onto something else. In this podcast Matt discusses how having a ‘to do list’ and being organized helps him get things done, nothing is ever going to be perfect because it’s just an idea, having an outlet to destress in difficult situations, showing gratitude towards the people around him that make an impact, taking anything you love and treating it as something super important and not comparing yourself to anyone else because everything you do is moving you forward. — Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new interviews (and more) weekly: http://bit.ly/2zprpon Follow us on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2hcSBws Subscribe to iTunes: http://apple.co/2yE0u9l Follow us on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2j82AHF Follow Bobbbaaaay on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Ap24ce Twitter: http://bit.ly/2hj6Ljm

All Power To The Positive! Vol#6, Episode #11 “First and foremost, you do not have to live up to or emulate the lives of any of your predecessors. But at the very least, you should know about them. You will have your own life, interests, and ideas of what you want or do not want in life. Do what you enjoy doing. Be honest with yourself and others. Don’t think of satisfying anyone: your elders, peers, government, religion, or children who will come after you. Develop meaningful ideals, and become conscious of others, their existence, and their lives.” – Yuri Kochiyama Beats: “Start The Revolution” – Marcel Cartier “Dead Or In Prison” – Lil Bibby “Luv Dem Gun Sounds” – Wocka Flocka Flames “Curve Ball” – Honey Cocaine “Hip To Da Game” – Lord Finesse “Right Now” – Celph Titled Cuts: “I Wanna Be Your Lover” – Prince “This Is America” – Spekulation, ft. This week the Friday Night Whiskey crew is joined by Courtney Walker, Design Director at Staple, for an intense conversation about Empire and Taraji P.
