BEST OF: The 2024 MTV VMA was another example of a powerful religious-cult operating through entertainment to influence society. Swift has stayed in the news for her endorsement of Kamala Harris, and when winning her aware she thanked her boyfriend Travis Kelce who may also now be encouraged to endorse Harris - recall other were involved with ERAS-ERIS, the goddess of discord. But Taylor Swift isn't as powerful as she may seem, certainly not to make her own decisions. Not only has she called out the Soros family for stripping her of music rights but most of her music itself is written by someone else. Jack Antonoff was behind ‘Look What You Made Me Do', and countless other songs not to mention his work with Lana Del Rey, Aaron Dessner was behind Willow, and countless other songs, and both Max Martin and his protege Shellback contribute heavily to her discography. People like Martin have been operating in the music industry for decades, writing dozens of hits - 26 Number One hits - for everyone from the Backstreet Boys and Brittany Spears (Hit Me Baby One More Time), to Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift. Further, he obtains the lyrics and beats through a sort of channeling. Even Elton John does this through mixing word cutouts to write songs. In the world of comics we find an equivalent character in Alan Moore, a magician behind iconic works like V For Vendetta and Watchmen. Moore is also open about his worship of a Greco-Roman snake god named Glycon, a deity of oracle and moneymaking. The difference between obtaining influence from the MUSES or power from unconscious DEMONS is what the byproduct of the contract is: beauty or ugliness. The song Mamushi features the profaning of and degrading not of America but of Japan, as Thee Stallion encourages Japanese girls to be promiscuous and lure men to their death. In the song, Megan literally is naked on a rock like a Siren, in a sacred Onsen, where she then pollutes the purifying water and transforms into a Mamushi snake to kill a man. A 2023 song by Sabrina Carpenter was filmed in a church and her video was so perverse and disgusting the priests had to re-bless the altar when she left. These images are far different than the music, sculptures, and paintings of artists throughout history. Perry's VMA performance featured the arch of hysteria from witchcraft, a portal, and we assume from the other side came an alien who Sabrina Carpenter kissed on television. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. It was the 911 call heard around the world. Through countless media releases, we all listened as a man in Utah tearfully described the wounds on the young boy who had shown up at his door asking to be taken to the police… a young boy who, we soon learned, had been horrifically abused by his own mother and her business partner. For many of us, this was our introduction to the shocking and sad story of Ruby Franke, the subject of this 3-part series. In this Part 1 we discuss Ruby's progression from devout Mormon wife and mother of six, to ‘America's Mom,' a beloved YouTube family vlogger with more than 2.5 million followers. But what concerns did some of Ruby's family members have about her parenting even before she became a YouTube star? How did Ruby's faith inspire her to become a content creator? What changes occurred in the Franke children's lives after they became ‘employees' for 8 Passengers, Ruby's channel? And what happened when the kids started to rebel against the constant filming… son Chad, in particular? Don't miss the first episode in this 3-part series. Ruby Franke's friend called Jodi Hildebrandt a guru… Ruby's daughter Shari called her “our family's very own cult leader.” In Part 2, we continue our 3-part series on the Ruby Franke case, sharing what happened after Ruby and Kevin sought help for their son Chad's behavior. How did it impact the family when therapist and life coach Jodi Hildebrandt entered their lives? What incident caused most of Ruby's 2.5 million YouTube followers to turn against her? How did Jodi come to move into the Franke home? Why was daughter Shari disowned? And what circumstances led Kevin and Chad to both be “invited” to move out on the same day? We discuss all this and more. Find (and subscribe to!) the show on your favorite podcast app or the Scandal Water Podcast Youtube channel. We kick off with some playful musings on voice impersonations, sharing laughs over the curious and often comedic ways we mimic those close to us. It's a quirky habit many share, and we speculate on its origins while warming up to discuss the all-too-relatable struggle of leaving the sunny beaches to face a frosty welcome back home. From the instinct to hibernate during cold snaps to how our feline companions snuggle in for extra naps, we paint a picture of winter life adjustments.Excitement brews as we move into the vibrant world of K-pop, spotlighting the debut of the boy group XLOV under 257 Entertainment. Their first single, "I'mma Be," caught our attention with its playful yet sultry vibe, setting the stage for a promising career. The conversation then dances through XLOV's EP and onto GOT7's new album "Winter Heptagon," celebrating the group's reunion and the intricate soundscapes that define their latest work, including the dreamy and dark tones of their single "Python." With the Year of the Snake in 2025 on the horizon, we ponder connections between their music and astrological symbols. We move on to Japanese rap duo Creepy Nuts and their eclectic track "Doppelganger". The varied sound and emotions gave us a much needed energy boost. The episode wraps up with a solo artist, Yamada Ryosuke (from Hey! Say! JUMP) and his first solo single "SWITCH". Sultry dance sounds and an amazing vocal range make this tune a must listen.XLOV info:InstagramXYouTubeI'mma Be (Spotify)GOT7 info:InstagramXYouTubePYTHON (Spotify) Creepy Nuts info:InstagramXYouTubedoppelganger (Spotify)Yamada Ryosuke info:InstagramSWITCH (Spotify)Support the showPlease help Music Elixir by rating, reviewing, and sharing the episode. In this episode of Spirit Box, I spoke with Vic Hyland, musician, teacher, and author, about creativity, NLP, and music's connection to magic. We delve into Vic's book 'Music Magic and NLP' wherein Vic shared his insights into the "cut-up" technique—a method popularised by David Bowie and William S. Burroughs—that involves rearranging words and phrases to unlock creative flow. This approach, Vic explains, extends beyond music and can spark ideas in all kinds of fields by tapping into the subconscious and reshaping our perceptions. We also discussed "sliding door moments," those pivotal life junctures where a single event can change everything, often guided by a mix of art, intention, and subconscious forces. Vic shared examples from music, showing how songs and symbols sometimes act as "hyper sigils"—shaping reality in unexpected ways. This led us to explore creativity's link to manifestation and consciousness. While I'm somewhat skeptical about manifesting through thoughts alone, Vic and I agreed on the importance of engaging the subconscious meaningfully. He emphasized that true creativity requires shifting between “gears” of consciousness, balancing conscious effort with subconscious flow. In the Plus show, we delved into the deeper purpose of creativity, beyond entertainment or self-expression. For both of us, art, music, and storytelling aren't just about creating; they're about transforming consciousness, connecting people, and deepening our understanding of the world. Vic illustrated this beautifully, noting that creativity was once about gathering together, changing perspectives, and tapping into something magical that logic alone can't touch. In a world increasingly skeptical of the mystical, it was refreshing to reflect on the power of art to reconnect us with wonder and a sense of the unseen. Ali Gilkeson & Diana Lopez are on Reading With Your Kids to talk about how music, magic & myths can inspire creativity in kids! We first speak with Chhristian recording artist Ali Gilkerson about her debut children's book "My Lighthouse". Ali tells us this song is based on the popular song by her band Rend Collective. The book tells the story of a boy named Finn who learns to appreciate his home in a lighthouse through an adventure. Ali discussed writing the book to share with her kids and spark conversations about themes of guidance and faith. Ali also shared Ali memories of touring the country with her band Rend Collective while raising three kids on the road. Dianna Lopez returns to the sshow to celebrate discuss her new middle grade novel "Los Monstros, Rooster and Dancing Diablo." She tells us that the middle grade age range from 8-14 is a time of great change physically and emotionally for kids. Her book follows a character named Rooster, who is the son of a devil known as the Dancing Diablo. Rooster goes on a journey to find missing children in the town of Tres Leches. Composed by Kenneth Gamble and Leon HuffMusic by MFSB , Vocals by The Three Degrees(C) 1973 TSOP/Philadelphia International Records, Inc.My Music Flashback Series continues this week featuring the genre of R& B. Soul & Funk.It can be a great tribute to a music artist when their style can influence current pop culture for century's & decades. The genre of Soul, R & B & Funk is taken for granted today & the influence is heard & seen in grooves, style & fashions most of todays' pop artists. However, the original recording artists truly paid dues to get in the position to not only become recording artists, but to write & produce their work. At that time, some of the artists who created a new innovative style had the challenge of the music executives not understanding the genre, and some even refusing to promote the compositions. Today we call this music - classics & the artists trailblazers. My guest this week in one of them. Bobby Eli is a Grammy Award Winning, internationally acclaimed Grammy Winning Record Producer, Engineer, Songwriter, Arranger and Multi-Instrumentalist. Bobby was a founding member of the famed Philadelphia studio group, MFSB. If the music is Philadelphia International, Gamble & Huff / TSOP. Bobby's music is more than likely on it. His signature guitar licks can be heard on countless gold and platinum hit recordings by artists such as: Chris Brown, Jay Z, George Clinton, Elton John, David Bowie, Hall and Oats, The Jacksons, MFSB, The Ojay's, Teddy Pendergrass, The Stylistics, Lou Rawls,Salsoul Orchestra, Patti Labelle, Phyllis Hyman, B.B. King, Dixie Hummingbirds, Billy Paul, The Spinners, Johnny Mathis, Deniece Williams, Wilson Pickett, Dusty Springfield, Nancy Wilson, and many other wonderful artists too numerous to mention. As a songwriter and producer Eli was responsible for such monster hits as the Grammy winning number one song, “Love Won't Let Me Wait”, as recorded by Luther Vandross, “Sideshow” and “Three Ring Circus” by Blue Magic, “Just Don't Want To Be Lonely” by the Main Ingredient, the first two albums by: “Atlantic Starr”, self titled and “Straight to the Point”, the Grammy nominated album: “Love Niecy Style” by Deniece Williams, Rose Royce's number one U.K. hit single “Magic Touch” and their album” Music Magic”. Bobby was responsible for the Jackie Moore number one dance classic,” This Time Baby”, the number one international hit singles “Zoom” by Fat Larry's Band and “Love Town” by Booker Newberry III.Artists as diverse as Luther Vandross, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Shaggy, Regina Belle, The Whispers, Isaac Hayes, The Dells, Sister Sledge, Englebert Humperdink, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and an array ofothers have recorded Bobby's songs.Bobby now owns and operates The Grooveyard @ Studio E, a recording facility in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. In this episode of iCantCU, I discuss more issues with apps and their lack of accessibility. This time, it's Uber and ASX. Both were better than Starbucks but required workarounds or the dreaded sighted help. I also recount a fantastic afternoon with our friends at the Greater Philly Chapter. Their President, Denice Brown, invited members of the Keystone Chapter to their annual New Year's lunch. Did I get Mac and cheese? You'll have to listen for the answer. In Just Listen, I play Ziggy, The Golden Song, which I created with the help of ChatGPT for the lyrics and Suno.ai for the music. There are two song versions, and you'll get a sample of both. GRAMMY® Award Winning Producer, Songwriter ~Philly Int'l, MFSB, Gamble & HuffIntro Music ~ TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia) '73. Composed by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff Music by MFSB , Vocals by The Three Degrees(C) 1973 TSOP/Philadelphia International Records, Inc.My Music Flashback Series continues this week featuring the genre of R& B. Bobby was responsible for the Jackie Moore number one dance classic,” This Time Baby”, the number one international hit singles “Zoom” by Fat Larry's Band and “Love Town” by Booker Newberry III. Artists as diverse as Luther Vandross, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Shaggy, Regina Belle, The Whispers, Isaac Hayes, The Dells, Sister Sledge, Englebert Humperdink, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and an array of others have recorded Bobby's songs.Bobby now owns and operates The Grooveyard @ Studio E, a recording facility in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. His intimate studio is only minutes from his hometown, The City Of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Welcome to Nature Sound Retreat… You are currently listening to Enter The Realm of Celtic 432 Hz Music Magic: Ease Your Stress and Anxiety When it comes to music, there is no greater medium for calming the mind and body. Concentration, relaxation, sleep aids for coping with anxiety, stress and even depression. Have you ever just wanted to lie on a beach, eyes closed and take in the sounds of the tropics? The resonation of a tropical beach ambience mixed with that of waves washing ashore is the perfect stress relief after a long day at work, study, decision making and even restful sleep. The same process takes place with the sounds of nature, birds in deep forests, waterfalls and rivers – All have the same calming effect, aiding focus and sense of wellbeing. Nature Sound Retreat's music stimulates the brain into a specific state using subtle pulsing sound to encourage your brain waves to align to the frequency of the beat. It helps induce enhanced focus, entranced state, relaxation, and sleep. NSR blends well the very best of elemental nature, Celtic music, orchestra and mostly percussion free classical compositions specifically targeting the effects desired as outlined above. Various ancient healing frequencies are utilized: 432Hz, 963Hz specifically, and combined with binaural beats, ASMR nature sounds, Alpha and Delta waves – enable listeners interested in deep sleep, stress relief, yoga, study music for focus and concentration, massage music. But there is more to Nature Sound Retreat for those who like to watch and not only listen. We combine meditation music with beautiful imagery, stunning landscapes and hypnotic Kaleidoscope videos that will take you on a journey of deep relaxation. Proponents of our music receive these potential benefits: Reduced stress and anxiety Increased focus, concentration, and motivation Improved confidence Better long-term memory after exposure to beta pattern frequencies, according to a 2019 study Deeper meditation enhanced psychomotor performance and mood The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Every organ and every cell in our body absorbs and emits sound with a particular frequency. When two frequencies that resonate at the same vibration meet, the law of resonance comes into action. When that happens one source of frequency is moving energy to the second source of frequency - just like in a forest when one tree moves water to another tree. When we let our body absorb Healing Music, we retune ourselves. We absorb new and fresh energy, from the source of the frequency, which is the unified field, the cosmos. Music creates resonance in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. Tune into Relaxation! Nature Sound Retreat was created to bring the best meditation music and nature sounds to inspire, uplift and spread healing energy to the world. Our music utilizes the ancient healing frequencies – the miracle tones that heal. Featuring 432Hz and 963Hz frequencies, binaural beats, ASMR Nature Sounds, Alpha Waves and Delta Waves for Deep Sleep, Stress Relief, Yoga, Study Music for focus and concentration, Massage Music and more.
