Why do we search for other things besides Him?   Why were you searching for me? Didnt you know that it was necessary for me to be in my Fathers house? Worldly business must not be more important than kingdom business 5 Things we can learn from this portion of scripture  To find Christ you must seek Christ Be Kingdom over the World  Be in our praying era like Anna Follow the obedience of Jesus  Be found in the house of the Lord and the Word of the Lord    The Digest  Are you about your Father's business or your own business ? the details of your world or HIs? How is your prayer life? Must be. What does your desire to be in the house of the Lord look like? Where can you be found right now? Know He knows, see all .... will he like the place he finds you in?    The Chew  Stand on Kingdom Business like Jesus   

I get how unbelievers can miss what God is doing in the world. I understand how they can explain away what they see in creation and how they can deny the existence or involvement of God based on how broken the world is. I can see how they would conclude that they can live without God, if he exists at all. But the ability to deny his existence is coming to an end. In time, God will reveal himself in ways that are simply undeniable. In Revelation 11:15-19, John sees another scene of heavenly worship as the 7th trumpet sounds accompanied by, “flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.” Signs that are unmistakably divine in origin. All of it announcing that the kingdom of this world has given way to the kingdom of God. Which begs a question, to what extent is the kingdom of this world giving way to the kingdom of God in our own hearts in advance of that final day? That's what we'll look at together on Sunday. I'm eager to work it out with you from the Word. And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son."   2 Corinthians 5:21, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."     Heart Adjustment #3: It's ALL about Jesus v48, "But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect."   Romans 12:1-2, "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
