Found in 2011 by the Swedish diving team Ocean X, this strange, circular formation resting nearly 300 feet below the surface of the Baltic Sea has sparked countless theories, ranging from ancient lost civilizations and secret Nazi technology to crashed UFOs and natural geological formations. Join Joe and Jen as they explore the origins of the anomaly, the initial sonar images that captivated the world, and the persistent mystery that has only deepened over the years. Why does this object appear to have unnatural right angles, what looks like a ramp or staircase, and even what some believe is a landing skid? Is it simply an unusual rock formation shaped by glacial activity—or is it something far more ancient, intelligent, and unexplained? But that's just the beginning. The episode also takes you on a global journey beneath the waves to explore undersea ruins found across our planet—remnants of structures that challenge our understanding of history and human civilization. From the sunken city of Dwarka off the coast of India, said to be thousands of years older than previously believed human settlements, to the mysterious Yonaguni Monument off the coast of Japan with its seemingly carved steps and geometric patterns, we examine whether our ancestors may have left behind submerged legacies hidden beneath the oceans. Could these underwater formations be evidence of forgotten advanced civilizations—possibly even the fabled Atlantis? Or are these just products of natural erosion, misinterpretation, and wishful thinking? We weigh the evidence, challenge the assumptions, and ask the hard questions that keep the spirit of paranormal exploration alive. Also featured in this episode: The role of sonar imaging and how underwater anomalies are discovered. Debunking and defending the Baltic Sea Anomaly—what skeptics and believers are saying. Connections between rising sea levels and the loss of coastal civilizations. How tectonic shifts and climate changes might explain some underwater “ruins”—but not all. Whether you're a deep-sea diving enthusiast, a lover of lost civilizations, or just curious about one of the most fascinating unexplained phenomena of our time, this episode is sure to make you question what lies beneath the surface. Don't forget to subscribe and leave us a review—your support helps us continue bringing strange and compelling stories from the edge of the unknown. And if you've had your own underwater or anomaly encounter, we want to hear about it! Reach out on social media or visit our website at www.222paranormal.com. Stay weird. Stay curious. And keep exploring the unknown.

Dr. Vincent Pieribone, Co-CEO and Chief Science Officer of OceanX, discusses the organization's evolution and its shift in messaging. OceanX was founded by Ray and Mark Dalio, inspired by the need to celebrate and protect the ocean. Initially, the focus was on conducting exciting scientific expeditions and showcasing the beauty of the ocean through compelling media. However, as OceanX gained popularity and recognition, they began to receive requests from governments and organizations seeking solutions to ocean-related issues. This prompted a pivot in their mission to not only highlight the ocean's beauty but also to emphasize the urgent need for solutions to the problems facing it, such as overfishing, pollution, and climate change. Parabon emphasizes that while the science surrounding these issues is well-established, the focus now is on actionable solutions. OceanX aims to inspire a love for the ocean, which will lead to its protection, and to engage in partnerships that foster sustainable practices. The organization recognizes the importance of showcasing success stories and innovative solutions, thereby shifting from a predominantly doom-and-gloom narrative to one that highlights hope and potential for positive change. This new direction aims to mobilize public interest and action, ultimately benefiting both the ocean and humanity. First up, Aerodyn Consulting's patent for a single point mooring system with dual wind turbines. This concept is only being utilized by MingYang for their OceanX wind turbine so far, but it's promising. Then Newtech Group's method for connecting modular wind turbine blades, which could make the concept more viable. Finally, a method for keeping your dogs ears out of their food. Follow along with me, Allen Hall, and IntelStor's Phil Totaro, as we discuss the weird, the wild, and the game changing ideas that will charge your energy future. Phil, another busy week in the ID and patent world. And we're going to start off with the single point mooring wind turbine with two wind energy conversion units. That's a complicated name for something that seems rather simple from Aerodyn Consulting over in Singapore. And this idea has been implemented by MinYang and we've seen this, I think it's called OceanX, where they have two independent turbines on a platform. a master controller for the two and it's floating and it points itself on a single mooring system But there's more details to that you want to explain what else they have going on in this idea. Philip Totaro: Yeah, so this this is a pretty complicated and but clever idea And I actually want to take a step back and talk about the fact that nobody else in the industry at this point is using this technology other than Ming Yang, who's licensed the design from, from Aerodyn. And, and again, what this does is it's going to ensure that. Basically, the, the platform that has these two counter rotating turbines on it doesn't basically kind of yaw itself or shake itself apart from, from having the having the both rotors pointed in, in different directions. Directions that they shouldn't be pointed in. So the mooring system is kind of helping with with that to an extent. But it's also ensuring that the entire platform is able to yaw into into the wind in a way that's going to be favorable, including the typhoon that this thing actually just survived over in China. So when they deployed this prototype, it's, in a typhoon prone area. And it seems like this single mooring system did his job pretty well. Joel Saxum: Yeah, the single point mooring is not a new concept, right? It's just with this patent, it's filed with the addition of the twin rotor and how that thing works together. But single point mooring has been used offshore and oil and gas world for a very long time. There's a, There's a type of vessel called an FPSO. It's a floating production and storage and offloading facility. But these things are massive. If you've ever seen an offshore, what they, it looks like an offshore oil rig. They look like a big ship, but usually they aren't powered or anything. They're drug out there by tugs and they're hooked up to what is called the single point mooring system. And that single point mooring system is a way of affixing that structure topside to one spot and then it can rotate around it. in production and one of the downfalls of this this setup for operations and maintenance is not so much with this ming yang machine because it's a 16 megawatt machine it's a big big thing but if you have to put a lot of these out there a single point more Needs to be anchored off...

The UK's latest renewable auction has given a significant boost to the offshore wind sector. With a record budget of 1. 5 billion pounds, the auction awarded contracts to 131 wind, solar, and tidal projects, capable of generating almost 10 gigawatts of capacity. Notable winners include Orsted's Hornsea 4 project in Iberdrola's East Anglia two, and three projects. However, analysts note that this still falls short of the capacity needed to meet the country's target of 60 gigawatts of offshore wind by 2030. The UK has reached a significant milestone in wind power generation capacity. The country has surpassed the 30 gigawatt mark of combined offshore and onshore wind installations. This milestone was achieved with the commissioning of SSE Renewable's 443 megawatt Viking Wind Farm. in Shetland this past June. According to Renewable UK, the UK's current wind capacity can meet the annual power demand of over 26 million homes and reduce carbon emissions by more than 35 million tons per year. In Sweden, Vattenfall has decided to pause the development of the Swedish Krikers Flak offshore wind power project due to unfavorable investment conditions. This project, located about 30 kilometers south of Trollberg, was estimated to generate 2. 7 terawatt hours of fossil free electricity annually. Fattenfall cited the lack of a reasonable connection point to the national grid offshore as a key factor in this decision. U. S. wind energy investment has seen a significant boost in the first half of 2024, according to Bloomberg NEF's Renewable Energy Investment Tracker. While solar investment fell by 12 percent to 26. 5 billion, wind projects secured 12 billion in funding. This surge has contributed to a 63 percent increase in total renewable energy investment in the U. S. Orsted, the Danish company developing Rhode Island's first commercial offshore wind project, has announced plans to expand its presence in the Ocean State. The company will open a new engineering, procurement, and construction hub in Providence, relocating to a 17, 000 square foot office building. In 2011, a team of Swedish ocean explorers searching for shipwrecks in the Baltic sea came across a very strange and unexplainable object. Their scanners picked up a large circular structure, seemingly non-natural, 60 meters in diameter and 90 meters deep with a long drag mark following it etched into the ocean floor. This discovery changed the course of their lives, sparking a relentless effort to examine and learn what this object might be, how it got there and how long its been there. The coverage of this discovery went world wide with the media dubbing it “The Baltic Sea Anonmaly” and even “The Baltic Sea UFO”. It is a really strange and exciting discovery which seems to puzzle all the scientific professionals who examine it. Is it a natural phenomena caused by volcanic activity? Or a meteor? Could it be man made? The foundations of some kind of building? Or could it actually be as strange as UFO crash site? One thing they do know is the more learn, the more questions that arise. The team who discovered it is called OceanX, lead by Peter Lindberg and Dennis Asberg. Today I am joining by Dennis, one of the original discoverers of this bizarre mysterious object lying at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. “A lot of people when you think of sharks, you think of hammerheads, great white sharks, tiger sharks, but there's so much more diversity than just that. There's over 500 different species and on average we're discovering new species every two weeks, not just of sharks, but also their cousins, the stingrays, skates and sometimes the chimeras as well. And so knowing that diversity exists, for me it's really important to get that message out there.”Melissa Cristina Márquez is a multi-hyphenate Latina in STEM. Currently a PhD candidate at Curtin University, Márquez is interested in what environmental factors influence the composition and distribution of elasmobranchs using a variety of marine technology. Discovery Paranormal August 17th 2021: The “Baltic Sea Anomaly” refers to interpretations of an indistinct sonar image taken by Peter Lindberg, Dennis Åberg and their Swedish "Ocean X" diving team while treasure hunting on the floor of the northern Baltic Sea at the center of the Gulf of Bothnia in June 2011. The team suggested their sonar image showed an object with unusual features of seemingly non-natural origin, prompting speculation that the object was a sunken UFO. There are new pictures of the object, but research drones cannot get close to it as they electronically shut down as they approach. There is new information about the object, and new findings

For most of human history, what goes on under the surface of the ocean has been a complete mystery. A fascinating one, but a mystery nonetheless. In fact, only 20% of the ocean's depths have been explored. But we're developing the technology to finally uncover what lies beneath thanks to innovators like Jacques Cousteau, Sylvia Earle, Mark Dalio and Ron Allum. In 2011, underwater salvage company Ocean X discovered a mysterious 200-foot diameter circular object. The object bears a striking resemblance to the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The question is, what is this object? Is it a naturally forming rock formation? Is it a top-secret Nazi weapon? Is it just a fraud perpetrated by the Ocean X company? Or is it, in fact, an alien spacecraft?
X Marks the spot! Let's Go!

Only a fraction of the oceans’ floors has been explored, yet scientists already know that microbial communities are thriving in the extreme and often bizarre landscapes of the deep sea. Harvard University geobiologist Jeffrey Marlowe shares findings from his expeditions to the bottom of the oceans—including investigations of microbes that consume 90 percent of the methane coming up from the seafloor—and highlights the growing need to protect these communities which we’re only just beginning to understand. To see Marlowe’s photos and videos of these rarely-seen landscapes, watch the video version of this SciCafe on the Museum's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQr790zKBW8 The full transcript of this SciCafe is available here: https://www.amnh.org/explore/news-blogs/podcasts/podcast-scicafe-microbial-worlds-of-the-deep-sea-with-jeffrey-marlowe This program was made possible by OceanX, an initiative of the Dalio Foundation, as part of its generous support of the special exhibition Unseen Oceans and its related educational activities and public programs.

From snacks and groceries, to razors and fashion, there's a subscription box for just about everything. As more consumers opt-in to receiving new goodies each month, it's created an entirely new opportunity to introduce new products and build brand loyalty. But as you'd expect, the supply chain plays a significant role in ensuring these products get there on time. In this episode, Georg Richter, CEO of OceanX, and Alon Waks, VP of marketing at Kustomer, join Matt Gunn to discuss how businesses can align the supply chain for subscription-based success.

When you are delivering subscriptions to hundreds of thousands of customers for more than three decades you develop a profound understanding of how to attract, retain and increase the value of your subscribers. Although he became president and COO of Guthy-Renker, that has at least one billion-dollar subscription product, Proactiv, Georg Richter began his career with Double Day Book Clubs, then BMG music club before today, the CEO and founder of OceanX. Georg has been an executive at the highest levels of some of the largest, fastest-growing subscription businesses for the last three decades. And, for you, he reveals the biggest subscription mistakes to avoid, how to deliver value subscribers will eagerly pay to receive, and the single most effective strategy in jump-starting membership growth after it has plateaued. How would you like to sit down with a subscription marketing master to learn how to grow your recurring revenue? Well, today is your lucky day. Are You Making Any of These Common Subscription Mistakes?1. Choosing the wrong product Too many subscription businesses are starting up with great enthusiasm and fading away faster than they started. To secure a good start, one of the first things to do is study the market. Find an area in the market, a niche, that has isn’t currently being served. 2. Failing to secure enough funds on the front-end Even though the wonderful byproduct of the subscription model is recurring revenue, you need to have a source of funds to get things started. You will have testing and development costs, shipping costs, marketing costs, etc. that will start before your first month of recurring revenue comes in. “The most important thing to understand is, it needs money, it needs upfront investment, it needs careful planning,” advises Georg. 3. Investing funds in incorrect proportion for growth You need to be liberal with your media promotions and conservative with inventory orders. With all of the digital marketing opportunities available today, you should be experimenting with as many as possible to see what works best for your target audience – interactive websites, social media, blogging, videos, and influencer marketing are just a few of the many resources available. Georg shares, “One of the mistakes I see is that people don't plan for any media spending. They have a lot of passion around the product, they just want to start it, but then they have not enough money to promote it. That's a mistake.” And for inventory, Georg advises against getting carried away. “People say, ‘No, I'll have 100,000 members immediately,’ and then they buy inventory like crazy, and they sit with a pile of stuff they can never sell, which is a sad story. I would always encourage people to be conservative in the beginning, rather work with scarcity and build up slowly. Conserve your capital. Be very cognizant of capital and spend it in media, and try all kind of channels you can try.” 4. Letting your emotions override your planning Too many subscriptions are starting with high enthusiasm and no plans for maintaining that enthusiasm long term. Georg suggests, “If you start a subscription you've got to think ahead down the line, what are you going to do in three, four, five, six months? Because there will people, if you do that well, stay with you for a long time. You have to always give them something interesting, original, value, but the main thing is it has to be interesting. You have to be inspired to get that subscription, there's so many out there.” How to Create Value Subscribers Are Willing to Pay ForWhether you are a publisher competing against free information or sell physical products and you are competing against retailers, you are engaged in a constant battle for your customers attention, investment and on-going support. You will only retain your subscribers if you are delivering more value than everyone you are competing against. Here’s Georg’s go-to list of value building strategies he discovered ...
Top 5 Most Mysterious Underwater Structures Ever Discovered With all our advanced technology, many believe we’ve figured out everything there is to know about our planet’s past. But the fact is that our world is a staggering four and a half billion years old. In that time over 115 billion people have lived here, developed cultures and built massive cities - some of which are now hiding under our oceans, seas and lakes. The next 5 structures likely once existed on land. People, like you and me, perhaps once thrived in them, but at some point, they were swallowed up by rising waters and forgotten by history - that is, until now. Here are the 5 most mysterious underwater structures ever discovered. 5. Lake Michigan Stonehenge In 2007, Mark Holley, a professor of underwater archaeology from the Northwestern Michigan College was with his colleague on Lake Michigan searching for shipwrecks using sonar equipment. 4. Cubas Underwater City While conducting a joint exploration survey with the Cuban government, a Canadian company called Advanced Digital Communications stumbled on what could be one of the most intriguing underwater structures ever discovered. Off the western coast of Cuba, found an astonishing 2000 feet below the water’s surface, the team found unusual structures that strongly hints at a set of organized stones, a lot like you would see in a city or urban area. 3. Baltic Sea Anomaly This unusual formation or object was first sighted in 2011 when a Swedish treasure hunter and his team, Ocean X, were scouring the Baltic Sea using side scan sonar. Dubbed as the Baltic Sea Anomaly 2. Gulf of Khambat Once known as the Gulf of Cambay, the Gulf of Khambat has become known worldwide as the cradle of civilization. Discovered in 2001 by India's Institute of Ocean Technology while they were conducting a study on pollution, they unearthed one of the most compelling pieces of evidence that mankind and urban civilizations may be much older than anybody previously thought. 1. Japan Yonaguni Monument Tour operator, Kihachiro Aratake first discovered Japan's famous Yonaguni Monument in 1986, when he was scouting for potential scuba diving sites for his company. The underwater formation is thought to be a remnant of an old Japanese civilization, said to have existed about 5000 to 10,000 years ago. Ever since it was discovered, marine geologist Masaaki Kimura has been visiting and studying the formation and he says that the more he visits, the more convinced he is that the structure is actually a remnant from the ancient past.
