Today I am an international best-selling author, award winning entrepreneur, speaker, co founder of Tribe of Traders and creator of Trilogy of Transformation and the Attune to Prosperity brand. Over the past 20+ years I've built and sold numerous multi-million dollar businesses in many categories including starting the first ever online coaching business in 2000 . I've studied and researched human potential for over 20 years - it's been my understanding of human behavior and potential that has not only allowed me to create massively successful pioneering businesses but overcome the most extraordinary challenge - of being locked up throughout my childhood until I escaped in my early 20's.” Rate, Review, & Subscribe on Apple Podcasts Did you find the episode valuable? Do you feel more drained than energized when you get off the call? If you are a coach/consultant with high-impact, premium offers chances are high that you have sales calls as part of your client acquisition strategy. However, I meet SO many coaches who just can't get this part right!!! They either don't have enough calls. Or they do, but they are speaking with the “wrong people”. Or when they DO speak with excited, amazing prospects they end up being ‘ghosted' after the call. Calls can be AMAZING, fun, respectful, fueling and packed with value for your prospects without it becoming a free coaching session and equally amazing on your side. But calls can also be extremely draining and exhausting, where you might end up wondering if this is really the only way to go… In this episode, I'll give you some tips and advice that works for academy members and that we have been teaching for years when it comes to structuring the call. “If people like you, they will listen to you. If people trust you, they will make business with you.” This was said by Zig Ziglar and is one of my all-time favorite quotes about sales and marketing. The problem is that most coaches and consultants don't create trust and likeliness online before going for the sales. They are not nurturing their leads enough for them to feel ready to take the next step. It becomes forced, sporadic and awkward. The solution? Well, one for sure is an extra-ordinary content strategy. With high-quality content that shows your expertise. Another is to prove that you have helped other clients get that type of results your prospects are after. Here's where testimonials and case studies come in! But even if you have collected testimonials in the past, chances are high that you only touched on the surface of what's possible! It is not enough just to have a message saying “I recommend your work…”! It goes way deeper than that…. In this episode, I'll show you a format that will shift the way you receive testimonials, and take them from boring to extraordinary! PS. And YOU? What was your biggest takeaway from this episode? Don't get me wrong. Online courses can be an AMAZING way to scale your impact and profit. But it depends of what STAGE you add it to your business. There is a misconception of online courses being the ONLY natural next move when you want to move away from 1:1. Hitting those 10K months with a low-end offer can take longer than you think… As much as 6-figure launches might sound like a dream when you are sitting with yet another last-minute cancellation from your 1:1 client, it's not the only way, and certainly not the easiest and most impactful. Industry surveys show that the completion rate of online courses can be as low as 3-5%. Before you say “It's not going to happen to MY course”, just reflect on how many courses you have laying in your PC that you haven't completed? I know I have a few of them myself…! A 1:1 offer is GREAT to start with when you are in the beginning of your coaching or consulting business. You get experience, you get to work intimately with your clients and tailor the coaching to them. Many of our members in the Thought Leadership Academy come to our Implementation program (Stage 2) having only a 1:1 coaching offer. But there is a limit to what you can do with it: Most times, it's time-consuming. You end up working too many hours and feeling like being in a rat-race. Not mentioning trying to juggle the time-zones differences, no-shows and last-minute cancellations… You end up feeling like you are repeating yourself; there is a learning curve for every client and you might feel like you are never passing beyond it You are not charging what you are really worth, neither giving them the full support you could give them if you only could be more in your zone of genius, supporting them with a real non-negotiable offer You are feeling like you depend on these 1:1 clients, which is never a good feeling. So, you do what it takes to keep them or get them, even if it means going down in pricing or working on things that you “kinda” know how to do, but not playing your biggest, boldest game. Sounds familiar? First of all, if this is what you are experiencing with your 1:1 clients, know that there is a MUCH better way to work with them. Your 1:1 time can become your most exclusive, premium offer that is going to support your best clients. And in which, you are stepping into your true zone of genius.
