Jessica and Lucy are fascinated by the Panera Charged Lemonade that has been killing people* and the memes that have spawned from it. Amin walks a dangerous line, and Lucy teaches Dan why his opinion on Liquid Death's water is out of touch. Then, the crew discusses the weirdest stretches of land in Florida as Charlotte teaches us about Hussey's General Store that sells "guns, wedding gowns, and cold beer." Also, Chris wants to look for the best moments in sports that make you saw "Awwwwww." Plus, Jess and Lucy's College Football segment finally has a name: GEN CFB. They discuss Army-Navy, the Heisman, Kirk Herbstreit losing his mind on Twitter, and preview the early bowl games. *For legal purposes: the lemonade, ya know, might not be killing the people? Here's how hushed the crowd at No. 1 Court was before points Saturday: You could hear Emma Raducanu's palm slap her thigh while she waited to receive serves. Here's how loud the place got after points: You could close your eyes and monitor the collective reactions that followed each — the "Awwwwww!" of disappointment or the on-their-feet roar of joy — as the 18-year-old became the youngest British player, female or male, to reach Wimbledon's fourth round in more than a half-century.Yes, Coco Gauff now has some company when it comes to being a teen in Week 2 at the All England Club. Shortly before Gauff, a 17-year-old American, made her way to the fourth round at the grass-court Grand Slam tournament for the second time in a row by beating 102nd-ranked Kaja Juvan of Slovenia 6-3, 6-3 at Centre Court, Raducanu dropped her racket and knelt on the grass as she finished off her 6-3, 7-5 win over 45th-ranked Sorana Cirstea of Romania."Right now, I'm on such a buzz and such a high," said Raducanu, the 338th-ranked wild-card entry who is still waiting to find out the grades of her high school exams."When I heard the crowd just roar for the first time, I was like, 'Wow, they're so behind me.' I was just feeding off of their energy," she said after displaying both slick groundstrokes, often on the run, that helped produce 30 winners, and a resiliency when things got tight. "I'm just so excited I get to play in front of them again."That she will, in what is not only her Grand Slam debut but just her second tour-level event of any sort. After Sunday's traditional middle-of-the-fortnight day of rest — which is being done away with in 2022 — Raducanu faces Ajla Tomljanovic in the round of 16 Monday.Tomljanovic got into a bit of a kerfuffle with Jelena Ostapenko after eliminating the 2017 French Open champion 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 and accusing her of lying about needing to leave the court for a medical timeout to address an abdominal issue."She can say she was injured," Tomljanovic said. "I don't think she was."No. 20 seed Gauff meets 2018 champion Angelique Kerber, the only past Wimbledon winner still in the draw, while other women's matchups include No. 1 Ash Barty, the 2019 French Open champion, against No. 14 Barbora Krejcikova, last month's French Open champion, and No. 19 Karolina Muchova vs. No. 30 Paula Badosa.Men's fourth-rounders established Saturday include eight-time champion Roger Federer against No. 23 seed Lorenzo Sonego, No 2 Daniil Medvedev against No. 14 Hubert Hurkacz, No. 4 Alexander Zverev against No. 16 Felix Auger-Aliassime, and No. 7 Matteo Berrettini against Ilya Ivashka.Medvedev dropped the opening two sets against 2014 U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic before coming through 6-7 (3), 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2.Auger-Aliassime advanced when Nick Kyrgios stopped playing after the second set because of a strained abdominal muscle — which also figures to end his mixed doubles partnership with Venus Williams."I would have been fine to lose today and not be injured," Kyrgios said. "But it's more heartbreaking like this."Federer's match came after Gauff's in the main stadium. They were scheduled that way for second-round matches Thursday, too.Gauff likened herself to an opening act."You know how concerts, they have a big artist, then a smaller artist come before them?" she said. "That's what I kind of like to think of it as."She is represented by Federer's management company, so perhaps he was responsible for some advice Gauff received — she said the words came from a player, but wouldn't say who it was — after her surprising run to the fourth round at the All England Club as a 15-year-old qualifier in 2019."You got to give yourself a pat on the back sometimes when you do something good," Gauff said. "Even though it's such a simple thing, it's something that really stuck with me."The other tip she counted on after that breakthrough two years ago -- when she, like Raducanu now, was ranked outside the top 300, came fro...

We got a sleepy one on our hands here! Sean + Andrew gotta figure out what the run of show is, so they do it on air. They start talking HBO’s Watchmen, and they do that for a while. Then they shift into a LIGHTNING ROUND of catch up. What movies have they seen? What have they both seen? Spoilers, not a ton of overlap. But hey, that’s fine cause these good boys have got the Plus. Disney that is! Time to talk Mando! It’s an all over the place ep that’s mostly just two friends catching up on things they like. Awwwwww.

Your married co-hosts debate Laci's grand unifying theory of movies. Must the movie have stakes? How big must these stakes be? (Big.) Then we fall in love with Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in True Romance (1993) [29:30]. Awwwwww! Also: What's up with Quentin Tarantino?

A dear friend, Kenny, used to relate an anecdote for which the punchline was a child referring to him as the, “Speech Terrorist.” I love that. Sometimes, though, it really is like that’s what we do. I think about the amount of children and young adults out there whose entire lives are utterly therapized. For some, almost every waking minute is programmed, structured, or dictated; almost every behavior is measured, studied, and pathologized; and every ounce of fun is wrung out of life for the sake of fitting in and “looking like a typically developing child.” I say fuck that. And ultimately, all of the children I’ve met in these scenarios have essentially said the same. I see so many professionals restraining children and telegraphing at them, “Use…your…words!” I’ve often thought, what if the child looked up and said, “Fuck you!”? Behaviorally, you’d have to positively reinforce that…because the child did exactly what s/he was told. Right? (What we generally mean is, “Use the words I want you to use. And do the things I want you to do. And be interested in my shit. And follow my agenda.” We should say what we mean, lest we get a ripe F-bomb legitimately lobbed at us.) Do you remember the show, “Life Goes On,” with Chis Burke as Corky Thatcher? He was the first television star that I can remember with Down syndrome…or any kind of uniqueness, for that matter. There was an episode in which he just became sick of it all and he raged against the machine (…fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me). For the talent show, he dressed in all leather with sunglasses and he lip-synced Public Enemy’s, “Fight the Power.” I loved the episode and the scene then, and it remains relevant to this very day. Watch it. Please. (Thank you.) But I digress… On today’s episode of the D2D podcast, Eric from the Grind (…any of you forty-somethings out there remember him?!…) makes an appearance as Blackbox sings “Everybody, Everybody” in the background. (Awwwwww yeahhhhhh. It’s Eric from the Griiiiiiind! Here at MTV Spring Break beach house. Nineteen ninety four, baby!!) Jen and Greg discuss fat basset hounds and asshole Springer Spaniels, canine ass-balls and neck-vaginas (“They call…that thing…neck-gina.”), and a titillating, immaculately alliterative, Huffington Post title, “Invading the Vagina in Virginia.” Additionally, and on a more serious note, Greg asks the question, “Why Speech and Language Pathology?” We present to you, “Speech Terrorist.” (Listen closely for a George Clinton Funkadelic incursion at 4:45. Not sure what happened, but everybody’s got a little light, under the sun!)

Claire's response to how to deal with Matt is pretty reasonable. "Davai, Davai.." Man, that was a new way to see how to kill someone, dropping an fire extinguisher from 20 meter down onto his head. Hmmm, so that just incapacitated him. Daddy Murdock not sticking to the plan...will this end like Butch on Pulp Fiction or Homer, when Angel-Moe had to come to rescue him? What the Dickens (Orphan Black reference) is Claire wearing there? But like KKK. A medically savvy KKK. Matt listening if Russian friend will live. Well that depends when/if somebody finds him in that dumpster. I wouldn't be surprised if kid Matt actor is really blind or just a great performer. All in all I felt the actors were more comfortable with each other, although they most likely shot most scenes out of sequence anyway. My eyes are falling asleeeeeeeoe bye now Andi...somehow forgot in first mail to add my name. _________________________________ Andreas Kuehn May 13 (13 days ago) to stargatepioneer After last weeks cliffhanger, I would expect Skye entering the house, finding "stoned" Gonzales and figuring out that something is seriously wrong with Jiaying. Jiaying telling Gordon to "take care" of Gonzales, meaning blasting everything to pieces to destroy every evidence. Sure Lauren did the "maaaahp" sound from Sterling Archer, after they blasted the building. Like me. Holy Frak how Skye took out that Agent! But May really shouldn't try reason with her right now. Jiaying's plan to distrust seems to work. Ugh! Man, all that plus the May vs. Skye bonnanza, and that was just the pre title logo sequence! Perfect, so Jiaying has powers like X-Men's Rogue! Aaaaargh, pushing that needle under Bobbi's fingernail is too brutal for me. Gutting, chopping off heads, no problemo, but this...uhrrrrr. Really beginning to dislike Agent Weaver. How disrespectful she talked to Mack. Simmons finding out about Cal's substances...I have a BAAAAD feeling about this! No surprise that Jiaying would kill Raina, but that Skye would see it from the bushes. Please! Let it be May posing as Agent 33, while Kara is still sleeping!!! Poor Cal, being the puppet for Jiaying. But man are the SHIELD people dumb for taking Cal to the medical wing from where he can escape. If Gordon and Lincoln doesn't understand it by now, when Jiaying opens up the briefcase with the crystals, then they can't be helped. Nice, Coulson taking out the battering ram from Winter Soldier out of the closet. And managing to derage Cal. Quite a feat! Hahaha, Mack asking for these skills from Skye! Last episode I was wondering which unconscious body they carried through the ship. So that was Skye. "Ginger Ninjas" *rachelsnort, at least Lincoln is finally beginning to question of what is going on. I predict, in the end he will sacrifice himself. Only in the end they show Bobbi's chair was chained to the ground. First suspected she would try to knock down the rifle. In the end sliding into the line of the bullet. Next best decision. This two-parter is bannanas! Now May managed to trick kara to pose as May, to go to Ward and Ward to shoot her. Wow!! Mack mentioning Fox News...priceless! If there wouldn't have been talk about a Spin-Off show, I would feel way more anxious about Bobbi's current critical condition. How did Skye know about her mother using the crystal on the ship to kill Beardy Agent? Really Simmons??!! Now you are bringing up this delicate topic?! As if Fitz doesn't need anything extra to cloud his mind during this crucial mission! Skye vs. Ginger Ninjas and all the rest is more grand than some action movies in the cinema. Really Skye??! Talking with your mom while her goons load the crystals on a plane?? "And together we can rule the galaxy as father and son....oh mother and daughter". Very Empire Strikes Back. I was so freaking out when Skye let her mom come closer...to freaking touch her and suck out her life energy!!!!! How they decided to make Skye's eyes bleached out, hen Jiaying tries to kills her. Though Skye still had some energy left for that power move to push the plane from the ship. So that happens when two different objects try to exist in the same space: Bye Gordon, really liked you but Jiaying had you already around her finger for many years. FRAAAAAK!...was that quick thinking by Mack! Jamie Lannister sends his regards. Awwwwww, Cal doing the deed for Skye to snap Jiaying's neck. Daddy really loves his Daisy. Well that concludes everything, right?? Oh, what happened to Ward in the meantime?? What plans is Coulson printing back at base? So he will become a Real-Life-Decoy? My guess, May took vacation to hunt down Ward. Ohhhh, the feels again at the end with Cal and Skye....Oh noes so they gave Cal the "Magical Place" treatment. Do you think he asked for that or not? Come ON!!! Fitz not seeing that he opened the box!!!! Or was he mind-controlled? All in all grandiose Season Final and gripping 2nd season. Now Dichen Lachman can return to "The 100". Episode 48: Is it the Show or the Performance? This podcast continues a series of talks between Lindsay and Craig on the plays they saw during their trip to England. This week they talk about two shows currently on in London: One Man, Two Guvnors and Merrily We Roll Along. The question they had about both shows is the question of the podcast: Is it the Show or the Performance? Show Notes New Release: Scarlet Expectations of a Drowned Maiden and Two Greek Queens New Release: Monster Problems New Release: neeT Teen New Release: The Gift Merrily We Roll Along One Man, Two Guvnors Subscribe to The Theatrefolk Podcast On iTunes. On Stitcher. Episode Transcript Welcome to TFP, The Theatrefolk Podcast. I am Lindsay Price, resident playwright for Theatrefolk, talking on mic into a little foam box. Hello! I hope you're well. Thanks for listening. Today, Craig and I have our last conversation about the shows we saw across the pond. Finally, we make it to the West End! But first, let's do some THEATREFOLK NEWS. New plays! We've got new plays in the Theatrefolk news section! How appropriate is that? I'm going to stop singing now. See? I start these things, I dive into them, and I think, “Oh, that's not going to sound too goofy or awkward,” then I, in the middle, “Wow! This is goofy and awkward.” Welcome to my world! Okay. So, I want to send a big shout-out for one of our newest plays Scarlet Expectations of a Drowned Maiden and Two Greek Queens by Robert Wing. It is so new! It's got that new play smell and it is just a wonderful gem of a comedy. So, in this play, legendary TV talk show host Dee Dee Dane welcomes women who just can't seem to get it right when it comes to men. But, Dee Dee's guests aren't just any women. These relationship-challenged women are none other than some of literature's most memorable characters. We've got Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter, Ophelia from Hamlet, Miss Havisham from Great Expectations, Penelope from The Odyssey, and Medea from, well, Medea. Ah! It's funny, it's got great characters. You have to check it out just to see how Medea acts in this talk show world. It's a fantastic competition piece, minimal staging. Go to our website, read the sample pages now. Do it. Or, you know, wait till the end of the podcast – that would work, too. Lastly, where, oh, where can you find this podcast – this awkward, goofy podcast? We post new episodes every Wednesday at theatrefolk.com and on our Facebook page and Twitter. You can find us on the Stitcher app AND you can subscribe to TFP on iTunes. All you have to do is search on the word “Theatrefolk.” Episode Forty-Eight: Is It The Show, Or The Performance? This is a pretty big question to ponder when it comes to seeing theatre. A less than stellar show can be saved by an awesome performance, and a good show can be completely sunk by something subpar. And, as a theatre artist, when you're going to see shows, I think it's part of the job of being a theatre artist to distinguish, to make that distinction with what you're seeing and where the success lies, or where the fault lies. You cannot tar everything with the same brush. “I like this. I don't like this.” You have to figure out what it is – specifically – that you don't like or you do like about what you're seeing. And, when we were in London, we went to see two shows in the West End for which we were seriously contemplating this question before we went – One Man, Two Guvnors, a modern version of the comedia play One Servant, Two Masters, and the Sondheim musical, Merrily We Roll Along. And, we also have a special treat. It's not just Craig and I talking into the little foam box. We'e joined by an old university friend who – fun fact – was actually in the play – as opposed to figuratively, or metaphorically. Julie was in the play where Craig and I first met and fell in love over 20 years ago. Everybody say, “Awwwwww,” or, “Ewwwwww,
