The Light Gate welcomes guest: Nichole ‘Coley' Weber, UFO experiencer, medium, channeler, podcaster. Date: April 14, 2025 Episode: 103 Discussion: UFOs, extraterrestrials, ghosts, mediumship, paranormal phenomena, dreams, auras… The Light Gate is delighted to welcome back Nichole Weber (Aka Coley.) Coley graduated from the University of Dubuque, earning a bachelor's degree in Aviation Management and Business minor. In addition, she graduated from Walden University with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, and a 3.99 GPA, which holds Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Member of Chi Sigma Iota, Omega Zeta Chapter, internationally recognized for high honors, integrity, and academic success. Coley considers herself an ordinary midwestern girl with extraordinary experiences. Around age 4 she realized she could see things others could not see. What started off as auras around people evolved into sight into another world of the dead. As the spiritual world manifested with time, Coley discovered she was able to communicate with the spirit realm, a gift that set her apart as a medium/channeler. These abilities were both a blessing and a challenge, offering profound insights while sometimes isolating from peers and family who couldn't understand her unique perspective. Coley experiences death dreams and in contrast could detect the miracle of life. In July 2017, Coley's journey took an even more remarkable turn when she became a UFO experiencer. That year, she encountered phenomena that many deem impossible, yet for her, it was another chapter in her ordinary extraordinary life. These experiences deepened her understanding of the universe and one's place within it, forever altering how she perceived reality. Coley has experienced both crafts and ET, markings, and a new path in life. Coley has been doing UFO, Paranormal, and the unknown radio. She currently hosts (along with her co-host Rodney Lundrigan) a podcast, SUBN8IONX SNX RADIO which you can find on youtube, and rock radio live. Will is married with 2 healthy children who actually enjoy spending time with their Dad (for which he should be eligible for some form of lifetime achievement award). Will has spent 20 years on active duty with the US military, most of that time in Special Operations. He received all the expected awards and decorations that come from an adult life spent bouncing from one conflict to the next. One of his greatest achievements is maintaining his marriage throughout his career and managing to parent healthy kids. Will graduated from Wake Forest University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a member of the national counseling honor society Chi Sigma Iota. Will has the most stereotypical list of hobbies ever for a Special Operations Veteran: He works on cars and motorcycles, makes his own beer, builds his own firearms, and makes custom furniture.

Dr. Sosin draws on the Gospel story of the woman at the well to frame how one might navigate professional membership, discern the call to be a missionary within those associations, and ultimately allow love to cast out fear and build relationship.  She discusses practicing the profession with excellence for the glory of God, having a seat at the table, credentialing, and the need for each of us to discern and listen to our well-formed conscience. Psychologist and Liberty counseling professor Dr. Fred Volk explains his “I am wrong” contribution to a thread on CESNET-L discussing science, research, data, truth, and faith.  Dr. Volk reminds us that science is not about proofs, and he recommends cultivating a sense of our own wrongness when judging others culturally, religiously, politically, and professionally.  Thinking like a researcher requires assessing not how right we are, but how wrong we are.  Humility is recognizing our potential for wrongness in our perceptions and understandings.  He suggests that we attend to the present moment and the person before us, realizing that we make judgments that may be wrong, and that forgiving ourselves for mistakes me make helps us forgive others too.  Dr. Volk examines how to approach colleagues who place “faith” in systems other than the Christian faith like any number of -isms.  Robert and Jeff's time with Dr. Volk reminds them of the passage “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. The Trauma Therapist | Podcast with Guy Macpherson, PhD | Inspiring interviews with thought-leaders in the field of trauma.

When I invited this week’s guest on to the podcast, he emailed me back and said, Sure, I’d love to. But I have to tell you that my specialty isn’t trauma. I’m not a trauma therapist. I responded and said, Mike, yes, I mostly have individuals who are specializing in the treatment of trauma. But I also have other folks on, as well. I have yogis, and practitioners who focus on mindfulness. Trauma is the commonality, certainly. One of my objectives is to have inspiring people on the podcast, too. And you’re definitely inspiring. So, let me introduce you to Mike Shook. Mike is husband to Becca and father to John. He has lived in China since 2007, where he worked for an NGO caring for children with medical needs before beginning a career in mental health counseling with expatriates living in Beijing. Mike holds an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and serves on the leadership team of his Chi Sigma Iota chapter.  He also serves as a leader and elder in his church, Oasis Christian Fellowship in Beijing. Mike loves Jesus, his family, reading, beer, good food, and the outdoors. Mike is also the host of The Thoughtful Counselor podcast.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-trauma-therapist-podcast-with-guy-macpherson-phd-inspiring-interviews-with-thought-leaders-in-the-field-of-trauma/donationsWant to advertise on this podcast?
