Personal awakening often comes from confronting uncomfortable truths. Psychedelics can enhance emotional awareness and presence. The mind-body connection is crucial in understanding the effects of psychedelics. Presence and mindfulness are essential for healing and self-discovery. Psychedelics are considered medicines that expand life experiences. Integrating lessons from microdosing into daily life is vital. Taking responsibility for one's emotions is a key aspect of growth. Psychedelics can help release suppressed emotions and traumas. The journey of healing is ongoing and requires intention.  Anger can significantly impact workplace relationships and productivity. Pharmaceuticals can create dependency and emotional instability. Microdosing can be a viable alternative to traditional medications. Chronic use of pharmaceuticals often leads to more medications for side effects. Obesity is often linked to emotional and psychological factors. Our external environment mirrors our internal state. Men benefit from community and emotional support in their healing journey. Finding freedom and purpose is essential for personal fulfillment. Self-awareness is crucial for understanding one's desires and needs. Integration of experiences is vital for personal growth.  Psychedelic experiences should be approached with intentionality and safety. Integration of insights gained from psychedelics is crucial for transformation. Bad trips can reveal underlying issues rather than being purely negative experiences. The current medical framework struggles to accommodate the unique nature of psychedelics. Neuroplasticity allows for significant behavioral changes post-psychedelic experiences. Spiritual narcissism can emerge in the psychedelic community, leading to unhealthy dynamics. Psychedelics can enhance emotional regulation and interpersonal communication. Nature provides the necessary tools for healing; we just need to utilize them correctly. Microdosing can be tailored with various herbs for specific effects. The future of medicine may lie in nutraceuticals rather than pharmaceuticals.

Leo Strauss was a German-Jewish emigrant to the United States, an author, professor and political philosopher. Born in 1899 in Kirchhain in the Kingdom of Prussia to an observant Jewish family, Strauss received his doctorate from the University of Hamburg in 1921, and began his scholarly work in the 1920s, as well as participating in the German Zionist movement. In 1932, a recommendation letter from the jurist and later Nazi party member Carl Schmitt enabled Strauss to leave Germany on a Rockefeller Foundation grant, shortly before Adolf Hitler came to power. Strauss continued his work in France and England before settling in the United States in 1937, teaching at the New School and other colleges, and then becoming professor of political science at the University of Chicago in 1949. It is in America that Strauss wrote his most famous works, including Persecution and the Art of Writing, On Tyranny, Natural Right and History, The City and Man, What Is Political Philosophy?, and many other works. His work typically takes the form of interpretations of ancient authors, especially Plato.  Over the years, Strauss attracted many dedicated students, who became known as “Straussians,” spreading his influence not only within academia but eventually into the American government. Straussians would attain such prominence and eventually cause such controversy, that, decades after Strauss' death, the field of political science was gripped by what would become known as “the Strauss wars.” Strauss wrote in a difficult, densely layered and evasive style that has led to long-lasting disputes about whether his apparent endorsement of liberal democracy was genuine, or whether his work contains an esoteric teaching about human hierarchies, one that might justify illiberal and anti-democratic Machiavellian coups. Heightening the urgency of figuring out what Strauss truly stood for is the widespread view that Straussians who worked in the State Department and Defense Department and who came to be called “Neoconservatives” were instrumental in launching the Iraq war in 2003, and are otherwise associated with hawkish, not to say hubristic and imperial U.S. foreign policy. But, leaving the neocons aside; Leo Strauss, Jewish Nazi? Could such a charge possibly be fair? Who is the real Leo Strauss? These are the questions that bring us to this author and this book. William Henry Furness Altman is a retired public high school teacher and author of many articles and books on figures including Plato, Cicero, Plotinus, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and indeed, Leo Strauss.  The book we are discussing today is entitled The German Stranger: Leo Strauss and National Socialism (Lexington Books, 2010). William Altman's first published book is an extensively researched and exhaustively footnoted work substantiating his charge that Leo Strauss, the revered and influential Jewish emigre, and recipient of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, did indeed harbor a lifelong commitment to the principles of Nazi ideology and that such indeed is Strauss' secret teaching. Find the 9 Points Rating System Here: https://www.alostplot.com/9-points/ In this episode of A Lost Plot, Maverick and Avalon discuss the 2000 film Memento directed by Christopher Nolan. The film follows the story of Leonard, a man with short-term memory loss, as he tries to find the person who killed his wife. The unique aspect of the film is its reverse chronology, where scenes are shown in reverse order. The hosts discuss their initial impressions of the film, the use of reverse chronology, and the impact of the storytelling technique. They also analyze the main character, Leonard, and the side characters, Natalie and Teddy, and how their development and revelations shape the story. The conversation explores the character of Teddy and his motive, as well as the revelations surrounding Leonard's backstory and his development throughout the film. In this conversation, Avalon and Maverick discuss the themes of denial, refusal to forgive, and the importance of accepting reality in the film 'Memento'. They explore how the protagonist, Leonard, chooses to deny the truth and punish the person who tells him the truth because he fears losing his reason for living. They also discuss the idea of holding onto pain and refusing to let go, as well as the dangers of clinging to ideals and beliefs without considering the consequences. The conversation touches on the relevance of these themes in today's society, where people often refuse to accept reality and instead choose to believe what is convenient for them.----------Highlights:0:00 ‘Memento' Introduction7:06 Opening Scene15:44 Leonard's Growth19:15 Manipulating Natalie26:43 The Big Revelation and Unreliable Narrators36:34 Teddy Revisited42:13 Remember Sammy Jenkis48:48 Themes and Messages54:24 Heightening the Tension1:07:07 Lasting Impact and Value of Memento#memento #christophernolan #remembersammyjenkis #alostplot #filmnerd #filmthoughts #mementomori #leonard #teddy #crime #mystery #revenge #anterogradeamnesia #amnesia #tattoos #rules #natalie

In a remarkable law enforcement operation, agents from Homeland Security Investigations, along with other police forces, performed thorough searches at two real estate properties. These properties, positioned in the cities of Los Angeles and Miami, belong to the high-profile rapper Sean ‘Diddy' Combs. Initiated on Monday, this operation stands as a critical aspect of a rolling inquiry related to suspected sex trafficking offenses. This development arrives in the wake of multiplying sexual harassment and rape legal cases pressed against the famous rapper. Amidst this whirlwind of legal drama, Diddy was noticeably missing during the property searches carried out on the previous day. Observers described an operation where law enforcement officers diligently gathered potential evidence packed in containers and sacks from his properties. As the searches were conducted, the journey path of Diddy's personal aircraft, registered under the company name LoveAir LLC, indicated a location in the Caribbean Island of Antigua. TMZ, the entertainment media outlet, brought this additional detail into public purview, further intensifying the mystery around the unfolding situation. Heightening the dramatic aura around these events is fellow rapper Curtis Jackson, who took to social media to express his criticism towards Diddy. He displayed a video that tarred Diddy's character with the description, “too freaky for society.” To go with this depiction, Jackson included a caption that hinted at abandonment and evasion.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Koeberg Unit 2 to return in Sept, heightening risk of both units being out simultaneously

Eskom generation head Bheki Nxumalo has indicated that an extended outage at Koeberg Unit 2, which begins on December 11, is currently expected to continue until September 2024, increasing the prospect of both Koeberg units being out of service simultaneously from late July next year. Nxumalo provided an update on the outage schedule during a briefing on the implementation of the Energy Action Plan, at which it was confirmed that Unit 1 had been ramped up to 924 MW by December 10. This, following the unit's much-delayed outage, during which its three steam generators were replaced. Unit 2's steam generators will be replaced during the outage starting on December 11. The replacement forms a key part of Eskom's application to the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) for authorisation to operate Koeberg's two pressurised water reactors for a further 20 years, after their 40-year licence expires. As things stand, the licences for both units will expire on July 21, 2024; the same date on which Eskom currently intends removing Unit 1 for another 200-day-plus outage to conduct compulsory works in line with a ten-year maintenance cycle, including crucial containment building leak tests. However, Eskom has indicated to Engineering News in response to an enquiry that, for operational reasons, it would "definitely like to shift the start of the next outage on Unit 1". Such a move would be dependent, however, on a "positive Long-Term Operation (LTO) decision by the NNR". The NNR is currently conducting a public participation process on the LTO Safety Case, which was submitted by Eskom in June 2022, and will host three sets of public hearings in February ahead of a final decision in July. Eskom has also applied to the NNR to have the unit 1 and 2 licences separated to reflect the fact that Unit 2 entered into commercial operation on November 9, 1985; more than a year after Unit 1, on July 21, 1984. The NNR has completed a review of the decoupling, including an assessment of some components shared by both units, such as the seismic bearings and cables, and its board will make a decision before the end of January. Should the decoupling approval be followed by an LTO approval, Eskom might be able to shift the 200-day-plus maintenance out, presumably until after Unit 2 resumes production with its three new steam generators. Should the decoupling and LTO be refused, both units will be out of service from July 21. Nxumalo expressed confidence in the case Eskom had made for the separation of the licences and indicated that a positive decision could provide it with some operational flexibility should the LTO also be approved. He added that, by July 21, Unit 1 would have been in operation for just over seven months, meaning that there would be scope for it to continue operating should an NNR LTO authorisation be in hand. "But we don't want to preempt issues at this stage. "The first thing that we must work on is to get that approval for the life-extension of Koeberg," Nxumalo said. Eskom told Engineering News separately that, based on the reviews performed and international experience, it "remains optimistic that the NNR will issue the licence for LTO". "As long as this is received prior to the date specified in the current licence then it is unlikely that both units will be out of service at the same time." Nevertheless, both units will still have to undergo the mandatory 10-year maintenance tests in the coming two years, with the tests on Unit 1 having been carried out previously in 2015 and on Unit 2 in 2016. Therefore, even if Eskom can avoid having both units out simultaneously from July 21, 2024, there will still be long periods, from now until 2026, when only one unit will be producing at any given point. This has been the case for the whole of 2023, which has been South Africa's most disrupted year for loadshedding, both with regards to the number of days affected and the level of intensity, with Stage 6 having been declared on several occas...

With tourism having now rebounded from the declines during and after the coronavirus pandemic, our patients are once again travelling globally. But what happens when their destination is 5000 metres above sea level? Many GPs will have been faced with a “travel consultation”, but it can be a daunting prospect when carried out infrequently. What are the risks of high altitude? What medication might be needed? And why might beer taste funny at high altitude? In this episode, Dr James Waldron asks Dr Rashbal Ghattaora about his experiences working at high altitude in Tibet. They discuss how to approach a travel consultation, relevant medications, counselling and much more.

On the version of Hot off the Wire posted Sept. 12 at 6:57 a.m. CT: Authorities in Pennsylvania are warning that escaped murderer Danelo Souza Cavalcante, who has evaded capture in southeastern Pennsylvania for nearly two weeks, is armed. Heavy rainfall has flooded parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with one city declaring a state of emergency as water poured into homes, creating moats around their foundations, and stranded drivers. Turkish officials say Mark Dickey, an American researcher who was pulled out of a deep Turkish cave after becoming too sick to climb out on his own, was doing well in a Turkish hospital. Russian President Vladimir Putin has asserted that the criminal cases against former U.S. President Donald Trump are political revenge that show the fundamental corruption of the United States. The World Food Program is warning that humanitarian funding cuts by governments are forcing the U.N. agency to drastically cut food rations to the world's hungriest people. The Jets lose Aaron Rodgers but rebound to win, the Braves' Matt Olson hits his 50th homer, the Cubs rally to stay 3 behind the Brewers and Rockets guard Kevin Porter junior is arrested.  On the version of Hot off the Wire posted Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. CT: Bells tolled at ground zero and solemn tributes unfolded across the country as Americans looked back on the horror and legacy of 9/11. People gathered Monday at memorials, firehouses, city halls, campuses and elsewhere to observe the 22nd anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil. Sports betting company DraftKings has apologized after using the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks to entice people to bet on baseball and football games. U.S. regulators have approved updated COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna, shots aimed at revving up protection this fall and winter. The head of one of Libya's rival governments says flooding that swept through the eastern parts of the north African nation has left as many as 2,000 people feared dead. The president of the Dominican Republic says he has suspended issuing visas to Haitians, and he is threatening to shut down land, air and sea traffic between the two neighbors over their latest dispute. Casino and hotel giant MGM Resorts International says a cybersecurity issue led to the shutdown of computer systems at its properties across the U.S. After the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action in college admissions, concerns have arisen that a pathway into medicine may become much harder for students of color. Heightening the alarm: the medical field's reckoning with longstanding health inequities. A rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump may be on the horizon in 2024, whether voters like it or not. President Joe Biden has wrapped up a five-day diplomatic sprint through Vietnam and India that put a spotlight on complicated relationships he believes will be crucial for global stability. One of three active-duty Marines who stormed the U.S. Capitol together has been sentenced to probation instead of prison time. U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes also on Monday ordered Dodge Hellonen to perform 279 hours of community service. She said that's one hour for every Marine who was killed or wounded fighting in the Civil War. Passing the Counseling NCMHCE narrative exam

In a therapeutic context, emotional heightening may be used to help a client explore and process their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Here's an example:Therapist: "Tell me about a recent situation that triggered strong emotions for you."Client: "I had an argument with my partner, and I felt really angry and frustrated."Therapist (Emotional Heightening): "Let's explore those feelings a bit more. Take a moment to close your eyes, and imagine yourself back in that situation. Allow those emotions of anger and frustration to come up. Notice the sensations in your body, the intensity of those feelings. What thoughts are running through your mind in this moment?"By guiding the client to mentally revisit the situation and intentionally engage with their emotions, the therapist is using emotional heightening techniques. The therapist encourages the client to vividly imagine and reconnect with the intensity of their anger and frustration. They invite the client to focus on the bodily sensations, thoughts, and overall experience associated with those emotions. This approach allows the client to explore and process their emotions more deeply, gaining insight into their triggers, underlying beliefs, and potential areas for growth. The therapist creates a contained space where the client can safely engage with their heightened emotions and gain a better understanding of their emotional landscape. Through this process, the client can develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation skills, and work towards positive change. If you need to study for your NCMHCE narrative exam, try the free samplers at: CounselingExam.comThis podcast is not associated with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) or any state or governmental agency responsible for licensure.

Through her work, Amy helps move individuals to a place of radical personal empowerment and self-worth. She helps people find their voice in her guide, How to Find Your Voice Without Being a Dick. She is highly sought out because of her uncommon style of irreverence, wisdom, and humor.   Dating takeaways from this episode:   How to stop yourself from people-pleasing Finding your voice and your truth Direct communication skills How women can speak up for themselves Change the trajectory of your life   Finding Your Voice [1:56]   Amy says if we look at our biological makeup we are programmed to people-please in order to survive. Most of us have heard of the flight, fight, freeze, and fawn instincts. People-pleasing fits into the fawn defense. Fitting in is a fundamental human need because our ancestors needed a group to stay safe and survive. In modern times, it doesn't seem to make sense, but from childhood, we learn that people-pleasing is a safe behavioral tactic.   Finding our voice requires more than a quick fix. Amy says we must incorporate new patterns and habits to make the necessary wiring changes to our brains before we can experience true transformation.   Becoming aware that you are people-pleasing is the first step to finding your voice, but more importantly, you must take action to make a change.   How to Speak Up for Yourself Without Being A D*ck [14:03]   Amy reminds us that we cannot make someone feel something. 93% of our communication with another person is paraverbal and nonverbal, which leaves only 3% being the actual words we use. Heightening our emotional intelligence is the path forward when speaking up for ourselves. We must learn to be OK with someone else feeling something different than what we feel.   You are responsible for your intention, not your reception.   When we speak out of malice, are more combative, or we people-please, we are reacting to a sense of threat. We feel like we are in danger so we revert to what we feel will keep us safe. We must be sure we are in a safe situation; then we can be clear about our truth.   Hypnotherapy [29:49]   As part of her personal empowerment work, Amy uses hypnotherapy to reprogram the limiting inner critic most of us have. Slowing down our brain waves allows us to embed new belief systems that better serve us.   Make a Connection: Visit Our Website Sign Up For Our Ignite Your Life October 2022 Waitlist! A big topic of conversation currently – both in and out of the educational field, is the difference between equality and equity. Because, while equality might be a good thing when equity is not being achieved in schools, some groups of students simply don’t have the same access and opportunity to acquire quality education. And it’s undeniable that race is a significant factor in who gets that access and opportunity and who ends up marginalized. Today, Marnetta and Darlene are joined by Debi Mathias, the Director of Early Care and Education Quality Improvement at BUILD Initiative, and Stephanie M. Learn more about creating “hooks” in the classroom, by listening to the episode with Dr. Sally Reis and read about the Torrance Incubation Model.   There is immense value in identifying interests from an early age. It's important to note that having too many interests may make it difficult to focus on one. Additionally, it may be hard for students to develop interests, so don't force it. Simply help your children or students explore different areas and see what sparks curiosity.   Think about the future, and the skills that your students/children may need.  For more information on this, listen to the episode with Jonathan Nadler.   Human-centered education, or personalized learning, focuses on what each individual student needs to be successful, rather than treating everyone as though they have the same needs. Do you have a list of things that should get done, but you never feel motivated to finish them? We like to spend time and money on things that we value, but even when we work on a personal project if there are no consequences for missing a deadline we continue to push this work off forever. What's funny is that there are certain tasks that we dislike doing, such as paying bills or going to the dentist, but we still prioritize them because there are heightened consequences for missing those deadlines. Therefore, if you feel like you're never going to finish your book, your course, or set up your business, you may need to set up a larger consequence for not finishing your project on time. In today's episode, I discuss 3 types of constraints that I find are effective at helping meet your deadlines. I clarify why it's easier to hold yourself accountable in groups as opposed to self-imposed deadlines. I explain how heightening the consequences of missing a deadline through financial penalties can help you be more motivated to work on your project. I also provide examples of financial constraints others have used to meet their deadlines, and ways you can hold yourself accountable through pre-sales. "The consequences of just having an accountability buddy are often a lot less than, you know, ramped up accountability, like if there's a financial penalty or if there is a strong or important emotional penalty."- Matthew Kimberley This week on Book Yourself Solid® Marketing For Coaches Podcast: Why we have difficulty completing the “should get done” list The different types of deadlines you can impose on yourself How Michael Port held someone accountable with a $10,000 check Heightening the consequences of missing your deadlines What are personal financial restraints Using pre-sale to encourage you to finish your course Mentioned Resources: Book Yourself Solid Book: Profit First, by Mike Michalowicz Website: Mirasee  Get More Clients in 60 Days! In this episode, Ted and Barb welcome Patrick Harel, Fall Protection Specialist. As one of the experts on fall protection, Patrick talks about what needs to be improved within the field and gives some good advice and tips. He also shares some of the worst behaviors he sees in the industry today. According to Patrick, everybody knows the basics and the general, but everybody seems to overlook training and education. We take it for granted that people understand and know things. But people do not know how to use the equipment properly, or they misuse it. Younger generations look at the senior people and make the same mistakes. They need basic training. And they learn better when they can touch it and feel it. Fall protection is not simple. It cannot solve every issue. But when you need it, it is a great thing to have.  Resources: https://www.healthandsafetynow.com (Total Health & Safety Solutions) https://safetyfm.com/ (Safety FM) Patrick Harel's phone: 920-216-9825 Patrick Harel's email

What do you see when you look around you? Do we all see the same thing? Ostensibly it would seem that all healthy eyes observe the same empirical reality. The fact is, however, that what you see is not (usually) what you get. Observation is not just what is visible to the naked eye, but far more than that. Despite knowing that fact, here is a mysterious paradox: We all understand that there is more to everything we see than meets the eye. And yet, we are easily seduced by externals, to the point that we can ignore the inner "soul" within things. One of the most misleading cliches is "don't judge a book by its cover." People constantly judge books by their covers; that's why book cover design and packaging -- and general beauty products, including make-up, skincare, hair care, fragrances and cosmetic surgery -- are a multi-billion dollar industry! How many mistakes have we made, how many people have been hurt, due to our prejudging or misjudging the value of something based on its outward appearance alone? How often have we been wronged by others judging us by our covers? Can we learn to look deeper and see things for what they really are instead of what they appear to be? Is it possible to achieve that kind of awareness on a consistent and positive basis? Please join Rabbi Jacobson in this eye-opening discussion on mastering the art of observation. Learn to heighten your awareness and see yourself and the world around you through a new lens. Discover tools, techniques and methods to help you look beneath the surface of things and experiences and recognize their inside story -- the deeper forces that shape reality and the inner choreography of the narrative, teaching us to recognize and actualize the true potential in everything we encounter, and internalize lessons from all that we experience.

I suck at improv. I've dabbled in it here and there, but I love it because it challenges me in all the ways I need to grow. I've been known to “prescribe” improv to clients, but they often don't end up taking a class. The fear of looking stupid holds a lot of people back from even trying it. Improv offers a huge number of lessons about life and business. It's another tool to add to your toolkit to broaden who you are. After all, if you work out the same muscles day in and day out, there will be a plateau where you don't see growth. We have to constantly push ourselves to try things that challenge us in new ways and knock us off our balance. To dive deeper into the lessons of improv, I've brought on improvisational comedy expert Norm Laviolette. As co-founder and CEO of Improv Asylum, IA innovation and A.G.E., Norm brings corporate as well as military experience toward the continued development and expansion of Improv Asylum's theatrical and IA Innovation's business divisions. Prior to a career in comedy and teaching, Norm worked in the marketing and PR industries in New York City.  He is a former member of the Massachusetts and Vermont Army National Guards and a graduate of the Vermont Military Academy's Officer Candidate School. Norm continues to lead Improv Asylum's strategic business and artistic vision locally, nationally and globally. To learn how to use lessons from improv in your life and business, download this episode now. THE COMPLETION WARRIOR   “Where can we go if we don't constantly think in a linear way?” - Norm Laviolette Highlights - Improv is a gym for the mind. Get over the fear of looking dumb by taking an improv class. Your brain will start to rewire itself to realize that “looking dumb” not that bad. It's about managing and taking appropriate risk. Improv teaches you to always make the other person look good, make a choice, and listen. It helps you build on other people's ideas. People connect with energy and passion. Improv helps you be ok with being yourself. Heightening is adding on in nonlinear ways. Patiently Impatient: you have no idea where the scene is going to go, but you get used to that feeling while being impatient about jumping into the scene. The incessant drumbeat of news media criticism by President Donald J. Trump is causing some major concerns among the press and First Amendment advocates, according to veteran, award-winning journalist Andrew Alexander. Alexander is a former Washington Post ombudsman, a former Washington Bureau chief for Cox Newspapers and an award winning veteran journalist with more than four decades of experience. He says that the characterization of news media as “enemies of the people” has both domestic and global ramifications. In this podcast, Alexander spells out some of the dangers this President poses to the First Amendment and how Trump differs—in that regard from past Presidents. Alexander notes that the phrase “enemies of the people” is one that Vladimir Lenin used to characterized the news media during the communist takeover of the former Soviet Union. Reporters who were so named were often imprisoned to silence their voices. Under the subsequent Joseph Stalin regime, alleged “dissident” reporters were often killed. Alexander notes that as anger increases against reporters covering the President, that many are now being provided, for their protection, with private security guards by their news organizations. Some also have gone through special training on how to handle themselves in violent situations. This is not normal. Alexander and other veteran reporters who have covered numerous Presidents have never seen the danger level against reporters to be this high. However, daily Pres. Trump stokes the fires of his base by the endless repetition of the phrases: “Fake News” and “Enemies of the People.” Two factors make these attacks different than in the past, according to Alexander. One is the use of social media for Trump to talk with and to enflame his constituents directly and the second is the delineation of cable news into ideological segments: FOX News on the right and MSNBC on the left. This segmentation often leads to echo chambers and intolerance for other perspectives. In addition to domestic turmoil, Alexander says that the President’s continued hostility against the American news media gives license to dictators and despots around the globe to crack-down on their reporters. President Trump is setting the example of how to demonize reporters, Alexander noted.

POINT #1: "FORGET THE CLIFF NOTES" - We often want the quick, easy, point to point way of doing things.  This can have value but we also lose out on the knowledge that comes through experiencing something in its entirety.  The details, the nuance, and emotion are all essential in forming real wisdom. POINT #2: “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IT FOR?" - It's easy to get caught up in trying to get somewhere in our day and age.  When we get too caught up in that game we lose sight of what we really care about and what we really want to do.  Make goals that allow you to do more of what you want in your life NOW not later. POINT #3: “ENJOY" - Why else are you creating art other than you enjoy doing it?  Make that be what your work is about as much as you can.  Don't get too caught up in what may or may not come of it.  Let go and enjoy.
