Can you rewire your muscle power and cognitive reaction time in just 72 hours? A brand-new 2026 triple-blind trial says yes—but only if you're using the right form of Vitamin B12.In today's deep-dive, we're breaking down a fascinating randomized crossover trial involving well-trained cyclists. The results were staggering: just 1mg of Methylcobalamin (MeB12) daily led to a 4.1% boost in peak power and a 4.9% improvement in mental reaction speeds. We explore why "Active" B12 (Methylcobalamin) targets the central nervous system and peripheral muscles so rapidly, and why the standard form of B12 might be holding your performance back. What You Will Learn (The MeB12 Sprint Hack):• The "Active" Difference: Why Methylcobalamin (MeB12) works on the nervous system while standard B12 often falls short.• The 72-Hour Window: The exact timeline the researchers used to see a 4.1% increase in absolute peak power.• The Pre-Game Brain Boost: How the cyclists improved their reaction time by 4.9% before the physical test even started.• Fatigue Management: Why MeB12 significantly reduced the "Fatigue Index" during high-intensity interval sprints.• The Practical Protocol: The specific 1mg daily dose used in the study to achieve these results.[Academic Source] Martínez-Noguera FJ, et al. Brain fog, anxiety, low mood and memory slips are often brushed off as “stress” or “menopause” until life starts shrinking. We sit down with degree-qualified functional nutritionist Jo Greben to challenge that story and unpack a more useful lens: brain health as a bioenergetic problem where mitochondria, inflammation and fuel supply shape how well we think, feel and sleep.Jo shares what pulled her into dementia prevention and cognitive optimisation, including the impact of family history, brain injury, and seeing reversal-focused research that pushes beyond the outdated “nothing can be done” narrative. We talk about why genetics like ApoE4 raise risk but don't write your future, and why a proper assessment has to look at hormones, toxins, gut-brain signalling, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation and the small details that most rushed consults miss. You'll also hear practical prevention strategies you can start early: better sleep hygiene, smarter exercise with strength training, protein needs in perimenopause and menopause, and how to have a better conversation with your GP about tests that matter such as homocysteine, B vitamins, vitamin D and high-sensitivity CRP. We finish with clinician-loved tools that support calm and cognition, including saffron, L-theanine, creatine and nicotinamide riboside (NR), plus a case study where addressing mould exposure helped reverse a frightening cognitive trajectory. If you care about dementia prevention, mental health, cognitive resilience and healthy ageing, hit play, share this with a friend who's been dismissed, and subscribe so you don't miss what's next. Academic Summary: For decades, clinical trials on silymarin (milk thistle) yielded inconsistent results because scientists were looking in the wrong place—measuring standard blood plasma and expecting high systemic levels of the free extract. A groundbreaking new framework reframes this entirely, revealing that low blood levels aren't a clinical failure, but proof of a highly targeted "bile-first" delivery system. Rather than flooding the general bloodstream, new discoveries show silymarin is rapidly converted into phase II conjugates that travel directly to the gut-liver interface. There, localized enzymatic hotspots trigger transient "microbursts," reactivating the compounds to edit inflammation, boost NRF2 antioxidant defenses, and trigger deep cellular recycling (autophagy) exactly where the liver needs it most.#MedicalBreakthrough #SilymarinScience #FattyLiver #Pharmacokinetics #LiverRepair #RalphTurchiano #TheCatalystFormal Citation: Pérez de la Lastra JM, Curieses Andrés CM, Bustamante Munguira E, Andrés Juan C, Pérez Lebeña E. New Study Links Aged Garlic Extract to Better Cognition: Holistic practitioner Jane Jansen from the Tree of Life Wellness Center in Massachusetts reveals a newly published double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial at the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA involving 72 participants with pre-hypertension or hypertension. Over 12 weeks, one group took 2,400 mg/day of Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract (Reserve formula), and cognitive function was tracked using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Jansen reports that 92% of the aged garlic extract group had no cognitive impairment after the trial, while the placebo group showed more cognitive decline, with benefits attributed to increased nitric oxide bioavailability, improved endothelial function, better cerebral blood flow, nerve protection/repair, and enhanced brain waste removal. She contrasts this approach with costly Alzheimer's plaque-busting drugs and discusses prevention strategies, including diet, sleep (glymphatic system), exercise, inflammation control, and circulation-supporting nutrients such as nattokinase.

Bioethicist and psychiatrist Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, author of “Making the Cut: How to Heal Modern Medicine,” discusses declining public trust in healthcare. Kheriaty describes his medical training and argues medicine has become an industrial, bureaucratic “turnstile” system that dehumanizes care, turns physicians into data-entry clerks, and relies on reimbursement-driven “guidelines” and narrow evidence-based medicine that favors costly pharmaceuticals. He proposes creating “parallel” grassroots medical institutions—such as direct primary care—analogous to homeschooling and Eastern European dissidents' “parallel polis,” since systemic reform from within is difficult. Kheriaty recounts opposing COVID vaccine mandates at UC Irvine, being fired after suing, and participating in Missouri v. Biden and Ho v. Newsom, which challenged government-influenced social-media censorship and California's physician “misinformation” law. He also discusses informed consent, assisted suicide opposition, and advocating opt-in organ donation.

Did you happen to notice that Tylenol recently launched a dietary supplement product range designed to promote joint comfort and mobility? When the best-selling pain relief brand in the U.S. market launches a drug-free product range…it not only speaks volumes about shifting consumer attitudes from treatment to prevention, but also about the increasing importance of supplements for the pharmaceutical industry. And maybe unsurprisingly to my fellow industry nerds, but this new product launch further strengthens the pharma-nutra convergence trend. In fact, pharmaceutical companies have been increasingly tapping into the preventive segment…seeking new revenue opportunities to mitigate against numerous factors hampering industry profits. Therefore, even during periods of relatively strong demand for OTC drugs, supplements still present an important opportunity to expand the product offering…thus we expect this trend to continue and likely permanently reshape the nutraceutical industry.

These liposomes not only provide optimum protection and transport, but they also satisfy the body's need for PC, omega-6 fatty acids, and choline. Now Altrient has taken the power of LET out of the laboratory and put it into your hands. It's why Altrient products are so effective. High-performance nutrients delivering enhanced absorption! Eating crickets and meat grown in a lab with cancer-like cells - WHO APPROVED THAT?! Scott Tips, president of the National Health Federation (NHF) and internationally recognized health freedom attorney, joins host, Jamie Belz, to help us understand the deeper mechanisms of Codex Alimentarius, the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the global regulatory web that threatens access to nutrient-dense food, natural health remedies, and therapeutic supplements.   As the only health-freedom organization with official INGO (International Non-Governmental Organization) status at Codex, NHF is uniquely positioned to stand up for the public's right to safe, informed, and autonomous healthcare choices on the global stage.   Over the last 70 years, NHF has defended medical choice and challenged the federal government's overreach into nutrition, supplementation, and holistic healing.   Some quick topics/snippets from this episode: Codex creates international food law—affecting everything from vitamin dosage limits to whether or not your meat contains drug residues. Most people don't even know Codex exists. And yet, decisions made there determine what shows up in your grocery cart, your supplement bottle, and your child's plate. The U.S. can now force genetically modified foods into countries that don't want them — not through diplomacy, but through international tribunals using Codex standards as their weapon. Ractopamine is a drug with zero therapeutic value. It makes animals fatter, faster — but it's banned in the EU, China, and Russia. In the U.S., you're probably eating it. When you hear ‘scientific consensus,' be cautious. The phrase is used to bulldoze public concern. You can be banned for calling out corruption at Codex. At CODEX, NHF is the only one defending your right to natural health freedom. The EU, Russia, even Iran — they've stood up for consumer safety at Codex more than the U.S. delegates have. The scary thing isn't just what the FDA is doing. It's how many people still trust them, blindly — even when their actions have harmed more people than every U.S. war combined. We need advocacy from the ground up. Most parents feeding their kids toxic food don't even know it — because the truth has been buried. “Frankenmeat”, insect protein, and natural flavoring cover-ups, all of which bypass transparent labeling laws while being quietly introduced into the food supply. They're trying to outlaw homeopathy—while promoting lab-grown meat and insect protein as sustainable alternatives. We don't want to be right. We want to get it right.   “Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship… To restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic.” - Dr. Benjamin Rush, Declaration of Independence signator and Surgeon General of the Continental Army   "If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls of those who live under tyranny.” - Thomas Jefferson   TAKE ACTION:  Join the National Health Federation for only $45/year to support international advocacy at Codex and receive the quarterly NHF magazine. This low-cost membership helps fund independent watchdog efforts that no other organization is legally authorized to perform at the global level. JOIN HERE   Other mentions: Ep 034: Fight For Your Right To Health Freedom The HighWire report exposing Peter Marks and vaccine data suppression    Health freedom is necessary. As government and corporate interests grow more entangled, grassroots advocacy is no longer optional. It's essential. Join the NHF and become part of the movement to reclaim sovereignty over what we eat, how we heal, and what we're allowed to know.
