Colossians 2:10 says, And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power. When God says that those who repent of their sin and embrace Jesus Christ as Lord are complete, He means complete. Jesus Christ is called The Author and Finisher of our faith. Because Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form, that means that those who are born again are complete in Christ because of the composite work of the Godhead: Father, Son, and Spirit, in the life of every single believer. We will see in our study today that every false religious system or teacher insists that there is something else that needs to be done in addition to faith is Jesus Christ in order to be saved. Let me put it this way, whatever that something else is, let's call it an “ism”: Legalism, Ceremonialism, Ritualism, Mysticism, or Asceticism. When any “ism” is insisted upon in order to be made complete in Jesus Christ, whatever that “ism” is, is saying that Jesus Christ is not enough. Not all “isms” are bad in and of themselves, and there are many Christian “isms” that are used to define a certain theology or belief system. It can be Calvinism, Arminianism, Pentecostalism, Dispensationalism, or Cessationalism. In many cases, the “ism” can become our identity and necessary in order to understand the gospel clearly.Beloved, let us never forget that whatever “ism” you and I may choose to embrace as a follower of Jesus Christ, the believers identity is found in who they are in Christ, and Jesus Christ Himself IS The Gospel. Remember beloved, you are complete in Him, and no “ism” was ever meant to “fill the void” and that only Jesus can pay the debt of our sin and fill the spiritual void within the sinners soul. No “ism” is sitting on the throne of glory. No “ism” is the Head of The church. No “ism” created and maintains the universe. No “ism” can save your soul.Rev 5:12 Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. Amen. SELAH

It is important to note that the 54th Superbowl was played on a day where the dates and numbers were most certainly synchronous with a ritual – the Second Day of Imbolc. As with every Superbowl comes the tradition of using it as an oracle and halftime is more ritual than show. Ritualism reinforces the concept of life's meaning and has been part of our lives for millennia. On tonight's show, Clyde Lewis talks with author and host of the Secret Teachings, Ryan Gable about SUPERBOWL 54 – SEE NO EVIL HAVE NO FUN.Originally Broadcast On 2/3/20

Conviction: So What?• Where does this fit? - Malachi presents a very direct and harsh message calling God's people to examine their hearts as well as their actions. - Malachi looks below the surface and exposes a lack of thankfulness and genuine worship. - Malachi makes a correlation between the fidelity of our relationships and our worship. - As the last book in the Old Testament Malachi also looks forward with a clear promise of the coming Messiah—Jesus Christ (3:1-5; 4:1-3) • What should we believe? - God is utterly offended by us giving Him less than our best. He deserves our best. - When our lifestyle does not match our profession our service is unacceptable. - Ritualism is Hypocrisy! Going through the motions of worship without an engaged heart is worthless.• How should we behave? - Examining our hearts and our motives as we examine our service (worship, giving, and relationships). - Fully trusting God to do all He has promised. But trusting His timeline as well. - Guarding our spirit and not breaking faith with God or others (2:16).Next Steps • Ask yourself, and some others, if your lifestyle matches your profession. Home Church Questions• Read Malachi 1:1-2:9. • What about the message captured your attention?• Is there an obvious application for you personally? How will you take a step forward related to this?• After their return from exile, the cynicism of the Israelites was reflected in the prophet's first response, “How have you loved us?” (1:2). Have there been times in your life when you doubted God's love for you?” What should one do when those doubts creep in?• In 1:6, God presented Himself as “Father” and “Master.” What does each of these characterizations teach us about our relationship with God? What is the effect on one's walk with the Lord when one is emphasized over the other?• God accused the Jews of dishonoring Him with cheap substitutes (1:6-14). What would be cheap substitutes in our worship of God today? • God's second accusation against the returning Jews was twofold, marrying women who worshipped false gods and unfaithfulness to one's wife (2:10-16). How is faithfulness to God and faithfulness to your spouse related? How does this relate to the issue of divorce?• While we are instructed not to test God by making demands of Him, here God invites you to test Him (v. 10 cf. Deut. 6:16). According to verses 10-12, what does God promise to those who are “generous” and “cheerful” givers? Discuss your struggle with responding to God's challenge of faith.• The Jews complained in 3:14-15 that they weren't getting anything out of their relationship with God. What is wrong with that attitude? How can that affect your view of your local church?¶ How do you feel to know that God keeps a “book of remembrance” (3:16) about your faithful service to Him? Twisting rhythms and textured spirals await eager listeners as today we're happy to premiere Vector of Mind by Italian producer Tiferet. Coming in as the 13th release on Ritualism, Tiferet joins a well rounded group of producers including Vanoni, Adhemar, Daniel[i], Biocym, and more. All diving headfirst into the deep techno and atmospheric realms. Upping the tempo and in turn the energy, Vector of Mind rounds out the release by keeping a tight grip on listeners through an undulating bassline. Weaving in and around the growls, squeaks and decidedly otherworldly sounds. Or as the label puts it, ‘Subtle elements dissolve and reform and pulsing energy sustains the flow. An atmosphere of surreal fluidity and fusion is conjured, inviting the audience to float freely amidst Tiferet's conceptual vision - an luscious hyperspace where organic textures are energized.' Vector of Mind, and the rest of the Vectors Of Consciousness EP will be released on November 13th. Is the Delphi murder case veering into the realm of ancient pagan rituals, or is this a strategic move by the defense? In a riveting episode of "Hidden Killers," Tony Brueski delves deep into the recent 136-page filing by Richard Allen's attorney, which suggests a chilling narrative: the girls were ritualistically sacrificed by members of a pagan Norse religion, known as Odinism, that has been co-opted by white nationalists. The allegations even extend to some detectives and prison guards involved in the case. Brueski sought the insights of Psychologist John Delatorre to unpack the implications of this filing. Delatorre's initial reaction was one of skepticism. "There's a lot that suggests that they're just trying to overwhelm the opposing side with paperwork," he remarked. He further questioned the timing of this revelation, noting the rarity of investigations with zero leaks. "If something like that had happened, you would think that we would be hearing about this as an audience a lot earlier," Delatorre added. The defense's argument hinges on the alleged presence of symbols near the bodies, which they claim are indicative of Odinism. They question why the police didn't pursue these leads, especially given that some of the symbols reportedly mimic images found on an individual's Facebook page. Brueski raised a pertinent question: "Why are we just hearing about it now?" Delatorre responded by emphasizing the commonality of finding debris, like sticks, in the area where the girls were found. He also pointed out that if ritualistic sacrifices were common in the area, there would likely be more victims. The conversation then shifted to the broader concept of ritualistic sacrifices in contemporary society. Delatorre clarified that ritualism doesn't necessarily imply a religious undertone. "Ritualism, for the most part, just simply means that a person has a regimented way in which they're going to engage in the killing," he explained. He further noted that while Odinism has been co-opted by white supremacists, ritualistic sacrifices weren't a part of Norse mythology, the origin of Odinism. Delatorre also touched upon the historical use of ritualistic sacrifices as propaganda to demonize non-Christian ideologies. "It's often been used as propaganda... by making the public believe that this is the kind of thing that they engage in," he said. Brueski then delved into the specifics of ritualistic killings, questioning whether they always involve a ceremonial aspect. Delatorre clarified that while there would be some ceremony, it wouldn't necessarily align with the stereotypical imagery of cloaked figures and altars. "For them, for the individual to commit the murder, they have to believe that the murder is justified," Delatorre explained. This belief in the righteousness of their act might lead them to add ceremonial elements to the killing. In conclusion, the Delphi murder case's recent filing has added a layer of complexity and intrigue. While the defense presents a narrative steeped in ancient rituals, experts like Delatorre urge caution, emphasizing the need to differentiate between individual crimes and religious practices. As the case unfolds, one is left pondering: Is the defense unveiling a dark underbelly of ritualistic practices, or is this a calculated move to introduce doubt? Only the court's verdict will reveal the truth. Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? I live by all of these values: “Council for Secular Humanism: According to the Council for Secular Humanism, within the United States, the term "secular humanism" describes a world view with the following elements and principles:[8] Need to test beliefs – A conviction that dogmas, ideologies and traditions, whether religious, political or social, must be weighed and tested by each individual and not simply accepted by faith. Reason, evidence, scientific method – A commitment to the use of critical reason, factual evidence and scientific method of inquiry in seeking solutions to human problems and answers to important human questions. Fulfillment, growth, creativity – A primary concern with fulfillment, growth and creativity for both the individual and humankind in general. Search for truth – A constant search for objective truth, with the understanding that new knowledge and experience constantly alter our imperfect perception of it. This life – A concern for this life (as opposed to an afterlife) and a commitment to making it meaningful through better understanding of ourselves, our history, our intellectual and artistic achievements, and the outlooks of those who differ from us. Ethics – A search for viable individual, social and political principles of ethical conduct, judging them on their ability to enhance human well-being and individual responsibility. Justice and fairness – an interest in securing justice and fairness in society and in eliminating discrimination and intolerance.[29] Building a better world – A conviction that with reason, an open exchange of ideas, good will, and tolerance, progress can be made in building a better world for ourselves and our children. A Secular Humanist Declaration was issued in 1980 by the Council for Secular Humanism's predecessor, CODESH. It lays out ten ideals: Free inquiry as opposed to censorship and imposition of belief; separation of church and state; the ideal of freedom from religious control and from jingoistic government control; ethics based on critical intelligence rather than that deduced from religious belief; moral education; religious skepticism; reason; a belief in science and technology as the best way of understanding the world; evolution; and education as the essential method of building humane, free, and democratic societies.[30]” --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/antonio-myers4/support
In this message, Pastor Harrison Conley shares from the transitional part of Paul's letter to the church in Colossians chapter two. Ritualism, hyper-spiritual Christianity, and legalism can take our eyes off Jesus today just as they did to the church in Colosse 2000 years ago. If we're not careful these things can rob us of the realization that Jesus truly is all we need. There is nothing we can do or experience that will ever be better or more important than our ultimate Savior and reward, Jesus Christ.
A ritual is not bad in and of itself. A ritual is an established form of conducting a ceremony (Marriage, Baptism, etc). A ritual has certain words that are said and certain actions that are carried out. The Old Testament rituals (shadows) pointed to something of reality (substance). Ritualism can be excessive devotion to the rituals instead of the excessive devotion to the reality of Jesus Christ.
What's the difference between having rituals and having habits in Baguazhang? And does it affect my neigong practice?
The Old Testament Prophets had a unique ministry. They were called to encourage God's people to stay faithful in a corrupt world. We Christians have been called by Jesus to be faithful as well. What would the Prophets say to us if they were serving God's people today? Let's explore that question in today's episode of The Rugged Truth Podcast. Listen now! God's Truth can endure any attack and answer any question. It's rugged. Our grasp of God's Truth has to be just as rugged in a skeptical culture. On The Rugged Truth Podcast, Dr Bryan Fergus answers real questions that real people are asking about real life with God as he helps listeners develop a rugged faith. The Rugged Truth Podcast is committed to helping people develop a biblical worldview through in-depth analysis of how God's Word impacts our understanding of the issues of the day. Complex theological and doctrinal questions are answered with Scripture and common sense reasoning. The result is a firm grasp of God's truth that allows followers of Jesus to both comprehend and defend their faith in today's skeptical culture. Q. 93 Which are the sacraments of the New Testament---A. The sacraments of the New Testament are, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.--That is a simple question to memorise and answer, but it is not such a simple question to explain because the church has very divergent views. The view presented in our catechism is that of the churches of the Reformation -500 years ago- which sought to return to the teaching and worship appointed by Christ in the scriptures by Christ and His apostles. Ritualism had grown up in the first 1000 years or so such that the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church held to seven sacraments. Some modern evangelical churches do not believe there are any sacraments at all. Today I will attempt to set forth the Biblical teaching about this.

Why do we suffer? Did we bring it on ourselves or is God punishing us? Job's story shines an intense light on those questions. Here's another, why do we serve God? For the bennies or because He is God? And then, how should we think about Satan in light of his appearance in the book of Job? I also share personally about why I serve God. Come think with me!

Many Christians are steeped in ritualistic practices, believing that doing those things makes them a more spiritual person. When Jesus cleansed the temple, He demonstrated that religious ritualism is not as important as some people believe. In today's sermon I define ritualism as -the replacement of true worship with rituals that may have once had value, but are now meaningless, dead, or both.-

2/3/20: SUPERBOWL 54 – SEE NO EVIL HAVE NO FUN W/ RYAN GABLE It is important to note that the 54th Superbowl was played on a day where the dates and numbers were most certainly synchronous with a ritual - the Second Day of Imbolc. As with every Superbowl comes the tradition of using it as an oracle and halftime is more ritual than show. Ritualism reinforces the concept of life’s meaning and has been part of our lives for millennia. On tonight's show, Clyde Lewis talks with author and host of the Secret Teachings, Ryan Gable about SUPERBOWL 54 - SEE NO EVIL HAVE NO FUN.

Releasing a Spell or Curse A curse will stay with an individual (physics a medium formerly believed to fill the atmosphere and outer space and to carry electromagnetic waves) or cellular, (telecommunications organized as a system of cells, especially for radio communication) and in the subconscious until released. Trances, hypnotize by power of suggestion by conscious mind occupies will in all cases it will be associated with a symbol. The cursing symbol is most often dark, such as black or red, and is usually a cross, circle, triangle, or an “X”. Break curses and bind them in Jesus' name. Loose the blessings of Abraham over yourself and your family in Jesus' name. Once Satan's power is bound, Jesus enters freely enters into his house and carries off Satan's possessions. The territory is delivered and Satan loses control. The Greek word for spoil occurs in two forms, Diapazo and harapzo, which means “an intensive spoiling, plunder and snatching away.” (Lk. 11-22). The Greek word Skulon, conveys “arms stripped from a foe.” Putting it simply, Satan is stripped of his weapons, (Lk. 11:21, 22). The Greek word Deo means literally ties or fastens, to arrest or paralyze. The Christian reclaims everything that he has stolen. Other words, Christians must aggressively bind the power of demons and prohibits them from the carry out their assignments. Freedom will come as you are honest with yourself and with God. Ask God to help you to see yourself as He sees you. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (Jam. 4:8).

We look at the inauguration of the current President of the US and compare the rituals and beliefs backing the state (in all its forms) to the rituals and beliefs backing various religions. We also look at what happens to those who become apostates to the religion of the state. Ritualism, the state, belief in its beneficence, and its power to destroy non-believers -- they are all covered here, with music by the Psychedelic Furs "Forever Now", The Golden Palominos "The Animal Speaks", Derek Lyn Plastic "Run with Me", The Sons of Hercules "Reason to Live" and "Snake People", The Future of the Left "The Hope that House Built", Midnight Oil "What Goes On", Asian Dub Foundation "Target Practice", The Ramones "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" and The Horrors "Sheena Is a Parasite"!!!!! Pastor Staten's message this morning is entitled "The presence of God." Ritualism or ceremonialism will never take the place of His presence. To love the word of God is to love the presence of God. The speaking of tongues is a visible presence of the Holy Spirit. You must have the true spirit, not a false representation. Don't seek the gifts, seek the giver! When God's people crave His presence, nobody can win against them!
We started with the occult symbolism of the "All Seeing Eye" and the Pyramid. Please join us as we take this a bit further. It is important to know that occult rituals and symbolism are the root of all religious ritualism and symbolism. The rituals that are practiced by religions today are materialistic.Though they are practiced they have lost true meaning. Let us explore the esoteric spiritual significance of various sacraments and rituals in the modern religious systems.
