AIE 200: Adulting Is Easy: Interview with Lauren

Adulting Is Easy

About this week's interviewer (not guest!), Clint Murphy: Clint Murphy runs both The Growth Guide podcast and newsletter: become better, achieve more, and reach financial freedom. During the day, he and his partners run a real estate development firm, which they're working on scaling. Clint's vision is to become more passive over time, while spending half his time in Vancouver and half abroad. If you liked this episode, you'll also like episodes 71 and 72, where Lauren was interviewed by Chris of Heavy Metal Money. Also, check out, episode 134, when Lauren interviewed Clint for his 100th episode. Clint kicks off by asking Lauren about money stories imparted upon her by her parents. Lauren credited her curiosity with her early knowledge about money. Lauren knew they were living well within their means, and keeping up with the Joneses was not a part of their lives. Clint then guides the conversation to Lauren's much younger sister, and how that influences her path. Lauren's brother got into drugs when he was very young, which caused Lauren to take her relationship with her sister very seriously. Lauren taught her everything, and this extended to money. Clint asks whether what Lauren's brother was going through caused her to “adult” earlier, so Lauren shares how and when she got her first house. Next, the conversation transitions to college and early career. Getting into sales was a huge part of Lauren's financial journey, but she started in retail at Toys R Us. Next, Clint dives deep into Lauren's relationship with her husband and their nexus in real estate investing. Going into Covid, they had a primary home and a duplex, but it was right when Covid was starting that they started expanding, which resulted in a good deal and a very bad deal, which included a squatter. It doesn't take long into Lauren's real estate investing interest to bring to back to her personal finance roots, and that's where the interview goes next: retirement, and retiring early. Next, Lauren tells Clint the origin story of Adulting Is Easy, the blog and eventually the podcast. Naturally, they eventually dive into the FIRE movement and personal choices Lauren and her husband make. The two close by looking forward to the next 5 years while acknowledging the last 10. Only 1.2% identify as Christians and just 0.3% as evangelical believers. Though Japan has a rich cultural history and a highly developed economy, many are spiritually indifferent, focused on materialism, careers, and possessions. Japan's honor-shame culture places immense pressure on individuals, contributing to high suicide rates, as people fear bringing dishonor to themselves or their families. The need for laborers to share the Gospel is urgent, with over 2,300 workers needed to reach them. Pray that the Lord will raise up laborers to share the message of Christ with the Japanese, particularly through business connections and local churches. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, so they will boldly share their faith with family and friends.FinancesWeekly Budget 35,297Giving For 12/15 44,365Giving For 12/22 65,677YTD Budget 882,429 Giving 850,826 OVER/(UNDER) (31,603) Fellowship 101We invite you to join us on Sunday, January 12, at 9:00 a.m. to learn more about Fellowship. We invite you to utilize the Growth Guide during the week to further your application of the Truth from the message.•. Monday - Luke 1•. Tuesday - Luke 2•. Wednesday - Matthew 1•. Thursday - Matthew 2•. Friday - John 1Discussion Questions 1. What are some examples of light we experience in our lives? For example, what are some examples of light we need or enjoy? What are some examples of references to light in music or movies? 2. Read John 1:6-13. Jesus is described as the true light (1:9). What does it mean that Jesus is the light? 3. John references John the Baptist at the beginning and throughout the chapter (see 1:6-8 and 1:19-42). Why do you think he gives so much attention to him?4. One reason John the Baptist is introduced is because his life is an example of the type of conflict that surrounds Jesus. What are some other examples of conflict we see throughout Jesus' life? Why is there so much conflict surrounding Jesus? 5. Why would it be foolish to conclude that Jesus is merely a “nice person?” What are some reasons that we can't respond to Jesus merely in a neutral way?6. John 1:10-11 addresses the irony and tragedy of a world that doesn't know its Creator. What are some examples that reveal the world does not know its Creator? What are some examples of how you tend to ignore your Creator and His good ways in your life?7. According to John 1:12, how should we respond to Jesus? What does it mean to receive Him and believe? What benefits do we experience when we receive Him and believe?8. Believing in Jesus involves humility. Why? What are some ways/reasons it can be difficult for you to accept God's gracious gift? How can you address these challenges so you experience all the benefits of His gift to us in Christ?Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Arain in PakistanThe Arain people, historically farmers, have risen to prominence in Pakistan as influential leaders in politics, law, and other fields. They are predominantly Sunni Muslims, though small numbers practice Sikhism or Hinduism, depending on their location. Less than 0.1% of the 11.5 million Arain identify as Christians, and no known Jesus movement exists among them. An estimated 230 workers are needed to share the Gospel with this group. Pray for the Holy Spirit to touch their hearts through dreams, visions, and Scripture in their many languages and for them to see past Western Christianity to the true message of Jesus. Pray that Arain leaders in government and business boldly share the truth of Jesus, and that families find salvation and spread His blessings throughout their communities.Fellowship 101 We invite you to join us on Sunday, January 12, at 9:00 a.m. to learn more about Fellowship. Thursday - John 13-16•. Friday - John 17-21Home Church Questions1. Have someone read John 1:1-5. What are some of the similarities between the way John begins his Gospel and the way Genesis begins? Why does John make these connections?2. John's Gospel is unique from the other three Gospels. For example, we learn the Christmas story begins before creation (because the Son was present at creation). Why is it important for us to consider that the Christmas story begins before creation?3. If we believe Jesus is truly God, this should make other teachings in the Bible simpler to embrace. What are some teachings in the Bible that become less challenging when we realize Jesus is God?4. Who is an example of a person you have wanted to meet in your life? Why should it excite us that God wants to be known by us? What should we do if we don't value that He wants to be known by us?5. Jesus is the light, and we need the light because we are in darkness. What are some examples of darkness we experience in our lives and in our world? What does it look like for Jesus to be the light in our darkness?6. J.I. Packer suggests we should view the Incarnation “not simply as a marvel of nature, but rather as a wonder of grace.” What is the reason Jesus was born as one of us? Why is it important we consider why he was born as we celebrate Christmas?7. When we believe Jesus is the Word and the light Who has come into the world for us, it should give us great confidence that the darkness will not overcome the light (1:5). What are some specific ways you can be encouraged in your life right now knowing the darkness will not overcome the light? Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Karma in IndiaThe Kurmi, renowned for their agricultural skills in northern India, are classified as an Other Backward Class (OBC). This refers to communities that are “educationally or socially backward” or disadvantaged. Less than 0.1% of the 22 million Karma in India are Christian. An estimated 453 workers are needed to share the gospel among these peoples. Many Kurmi are resistant to the Gospel, fearing it might alienate their children from family traditions. What stood out to you from Ken's message that affects how you live now? 2. Working together as a team, retrace the historical story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. You might want to refer to the list of books in the front of your Bible. Remember that historically the Old Testament ends with the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.3. How would you describe God's story as contained in the Bible? 4. Read 21:1-8 and 22:12-13. Discuss how we as believers should live in the present in anticipation of this our eternal destiny.5. How has Ken's foray through the books of the Bible strengthened your understanding of and commitment to His word?MISSION HIGHLIGHT - Pray for the Unreached: The Brahmin in India The Brahmins, historically a priestly and influential caste in India, continue to hold high social status, though many now pursue modern professions instead of traditional religious roles. Changes in India's economy and education are reshaping caste dynamics, but less than 0.1% of Brahmins are Christians. Hinduism is the primary religion among the Brahmin, and an estimated 700 workers are needed to reach the nearly 35 million Brahmin in India. Pray that they recognize their true priestly identity in Jesus and embrace the joy of serving Him. Pray that servant leaders are brought up within the Brahmin, who draw all castes to Jesus. Enjoy this re-release of one my top listened to episodes with my guest, Kristen Lee.This week's episode of the Growth Guide podcast features Dr. Kristen Lee, a researcher and expert in the field of behavioral science.  She is the author of Worth the Risk: How to Microdose Bravery to Grow Resilience, Connect More and Offer Yourself to the World.  As society grapples with the increase in mental health issues exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kristen highlights the critical need for psychoeducation, emphasizing the role of community, lifestyle strategies, and understanding the nuanced relationship between medication and mental wellness. We discuss the importance of addressing trauma, both "small t" and "large T," and explore healing through scientifically-based behavior changes and the courage it takes to tell personal truths. We also touch on the cultural phenomenon of overachievement and hustle culture, and its implications on mental health, advocating for a shift towards achievements that serve the collective good. Join us as we explore these pressing issues and get inspired to make micro acts of courage a part of everyday life.[01:07] What-if living - Instead of being paralyzed by worry and dread, accepting the world as it is and making the best of it can liberate you to pursue your dreams.[16:57] Microdosing Bravery - Bravery and courage are not about grand gestures or impressive displays but rather about taking small and manageable steps towards our values and goals, facing our fears and anxieties, and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable.[22:15] Emotional Regulation - When we learn to regulate our emotions, we control our feelings better, react with greater awareness, and rely less on habitual, unthinking responses.[29:37] Mental Health  - Kristen stresses the need to address the current mental health problem because of the unprecedented level of suffering in the world today.[37:51] Labels and Diagnostic Frameworks - You are not your diagnosis, you are still [Name].[01:20:03] Tolerance, Acceptance, And Reverence  - We discuss the difference between the concepts of tolerance, acceptance, and reverence and how these can be used to choose values over passivity when dealing with different biases, racism and other "isms" that exist in the world. Resources:Connect with Dr. Kris(ten) Lee:Website: kristenlee.com/LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/drkris1/Tiktok: tiktok.com/@drkristherapycomedyInstagram: instagram.com/therealdrkris/Twitter: twitter.com/TheRealDrKrisBook by Dr. Kristen LeeWorth the Risk: How to Microdose Bravery to Grow Resilience, Connect More, and Offer Yourself to the World

What aspect of Operation Christmas Child do you appreciate? Why? 2. We looked at the storyline of the Bible and discovered our God is a missionary God from the beginning to the end. Missions isn't just one aspect; it is at the very heart of Who He is and what He does. Is this a new idea to you? Explain. 3. We looked at several passages to help tell the story of the Bible (see the sermon outline). Did one or two of these passages stand out to you? How does that passage relate to the bigger story of our missionary God? 4. What are some ways we should be impacted when we consider that God's heart for missions is good news for us? In other words, when we realize we are among the “nations” and Jesus was sent as our Savior, how should we respond? 5. When we realize missions is at the heart of Who God is and what He does, we should be impacted so that missions becomes central to who we are and what we do. Would you say missions is merely one aspect of your life, or is missions at the heart of who you are? Explain. 6. How could missions become more central to your life? What next steps can you and your Home Church take so missions becomes more central to who we are and what we do? (For example, we have been including a “Mission Highlight” at the bottom of the discussion questions. Your Home Church can spend some time reading this and praying.)Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Hui in China The Hui people of China, numbering around 13.7 million, are primarily Sunni Muslims with roots tracing back to Arab, Persian, Mongol, and Chinese ancestors. They speak Mandarin with some Arabic and Persian influences and are spread across nearly all of China's counties, known for their skills in business and various trades. Despite widespread persecution of Uyghur Muslims by the Chinese Communist Party, the Hui have not faced the same level of oppression. There are no known gospel movements among the Hui, with less than 0.1% identifying as Christians. An estimated 275 workers are needed, at a ratio of 1 worker per 50,000 people. Prayers focus on opportunities for outreach, spiritual conviction, and a desire for Jesus among Hui families, with the hope that they would embrace Christ and share the gospel across their communities. Conviction: So What?• Where does Jude fit? - Jude, the brother of James and half brother of Jesus, originally intended to write about the nature of and glory of the salvation we have in Christ. - The rise of false teachers and growth of their impact on the community shifted Jude's focus to writing a letter warning about these false teachers and calling believers to fight hard for the truth of the teachings they have heard.• What should we believe? - False teachers have always been and always will be a problem. - False teachers pervert the truth (doctrinal error) and pervert grace (promoting immorality). - While the judgment of false teachers may be delayed, it is no less certain. What are some current teachings and/or trends, particularly inside the Christian community, that threaten the core truths of Christianity? How can you be a part of preserving “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (ESV)?• The second of Jude's message to believers is to persevere in the faith (verses 20-21). He presents a fourfold pattern for maintaining perseverance of “building… praying… keeping… waiting.” How do each of these contribute to your faithful perseverance? How are you doing?• Throughout his letter, Jude presents a litany of characteristics of the false teachers who secretly creep into the church. Read again verses 4, 8, 10-13, and 16. What stands out as things to watch for in identifying false teachers?• On the other hand, Jude presents others as needing our assistance in verse 22. Who are these individuals and how do you distinguish them from the false teachers?• Jude makes it clear that God brings about judgment on the ungodly and the enemies of his truth. Do you find yourself stressing over the evil and unbelief in the world that is progressing from bad to worse? How should you respond to Jude's message of coming judgment?• What do you have to look forward to in verse 24? How can you keep that at the forefront of your thoughts in a world gone in turmoil? Have someone read the parable in Luke 10:30-37 and summarize the story. How does this story relate to Luke 10:25-29? 3. In Jesus' story, a Samaritan is the hero. His audience would not have considered Samaritans to be heroes. Why does he involve a Samaritan as a hero? 4. One point of the story is there are no limits to “who is my neighbor.” We all have people in our lives and it's fairly easy to be a good neighbor to them. Who are some of the people in our lives who are not as easy to relate to as a neighbor? Explain.5. Why should we be a good neighbor even to those we don't want to be? What might this look like for you to be a good neighbor to someone this week?6. A second point of this parable is there are no limits to how far I should go to be a neighbor. What are some examples from the parable of the extent to which this Good Samaritan was willing to go to be a good neighbor?7. Have you ever been in a situation where you have been a “Good Samaritan?” To what extent did you go to be a good neighbor? How far should we go?8. This parable is about being a good neighbor like the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:37). But the context around the parable is also about Jesus (see Luke 10:22-23 and 10:38-42). How has Jesus been like a “Good Samaritan” to us? Why would we be more likely to be a good neighbor to others when we consider what Jesus has done for us?Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Najdi Arabs in Saudi Arabia The Najdi-speaking Arabs, with a population of approximately 14.7 million, primarily reside on Saudi Arabia's central plateau and speak the Najdi dialect of Arabic. Wednesday - Romans 13:1-7•. Thursday - 1 Timothy 2:1-4•. Friday - Philippians 3:20-21Home Church Questions1. Have someone read Matthew 22:15-22. The goal of the two groups was to trap Jesus. Why would this question about paying taxes potentially be a trap?2. What is the meaning of Jesus' answer to their question. Why does He answer this way?3. This passage suggests a distinction between the Roman government and God. It was mentioned in the sermon that some governments have not recognized a distinction between the church and government. What are some of the negative consequences that can occur when there is no distinction between these two spheres? For example, why would it be a problem if the state tried to force someone to convert to a particular religion?4. In an ideal situation, what should Christians expect of government? What is the responsibility of the government to the church?5. While the government has responsibilities to the church, we have responsibilities to the state. First, we are supposed to be salt and light (have someone read Matthew 5:13-16). Why is it important that we are being transformed by the Gospel and becoming more like Christ in order to have an impact as salt and light wherever we live? What are some ways you are representing Christ to the people in your neighborhood, your workplace, your school, your team?6. Second, we also have certain responsibilities to obey the government God has placed over us (see 1 Tim 2:1-3 and Romans 13:1-6). Why is it important for Christians to be diligent to obey the laws?7. Third, we live under a government in which we can have an influence on policies and laws. What are some ways we can have an influence and why should we try to have an influence?8. Philippians 3:20-21 reminds us our ultimate citizenship is in heaven. If we truly believe this, how should this impact how we live as citizens in Conway? Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Northern Uzbek in Uzbekistan Uzbekistan has a population of 27.5 million, with Islam as the main religion and Uzbek as the primary language. Christians make up less than 0.1% of the population. While the complete Bible is available in both written and oral form, no movement of the gospel has been reported. An estimated 550 workers are needed, with a ratio of 1 worker per 50,000 people. Focus Prayer on sending long-term laborers to the Uzbeks, fostering religious freedom, and spreading the Good News through strong local disciple-making households. Thursday - Genesis 7-8•. Friday - Genesis 9-11Home Church Questions 1. Have someone read the parable in Matt. 13:24-30. According to Matt. 13:36-43, what is this parable about?2. The lessons we learn from this parable help explain the Christian worldview. What is a worldview? Why is it important we understand what a worldview is?3. The first question that informs our worldview is: “how did we get here?” How does the Christian worldview explain how we got here and what are some examples of other worldviews that would answer this question differently? What difference should this make in our lives?4. The second question that informs our worldview is: “what is wrong?” In the parable, the enemy sows weeds in the good field. According to the Christian worldview, what is wrong? What is an example of a way you are experiencing the "weeds" of this broken world?5. The third question that informs our worldview is: “why are we here?” The Christian worldview says there is still meaning and purpose even though we live in a fallen world. What is the meaning/purpose of life according to the Christian worldview? What difference should this make in our lives?6. What are some reasons God allows us to remain in a fallen world with pain and suffering and weeds? How might your answer help you respond to the “weeds” you are experiencing right now?7. The fourth question that informs our worldview is: “where are we going?” According to this parable and the Christian worldview, what happens in the end? How is this different from other worldviews? What difference should this make in our lives?8. Who can you talk with about these big questions in hopes of talking about the Gospel? Which of the four questions do you think you would be most likely to “lean into” as you are talking with someone? Why? Mission Highlight - Pray for the Unreached: The Pashtun in Pakistan The Pashtun population stands at 32.7 million, with Islam as the predominant religion and Northern Pashto as the primary language. Approximately 654 workers are needed, at a ratio of 1 worker per 50,000 people. Each of us has a freedom and a responsibility to make moral and wise decisions. But what does that decision making process actually look like? And how do we know if a certain path is wise? In this episode, Alex reflects on the framework outlined in Dr. Garry Friesen's book, “Decision Making and the Will of God.” He also shares 7 practical conclusions that further explain how this framework applies to our daily lives. Make sure to listen to our previous episode with Dr. Friesen for more insights on this topic.  Episode Recap: The quality of our decisions determines the quality of our life (1:12) Are you putting off decisions out of faith, or out of fear? (7:07) Everything that happens is God's will, but not everything is moral or wise (14:10) We have the freedom and the responsibility to make decisions (20:41) 7 practical conclusions from the “Decision Making and the Will of God” framework (24:47) 1. You aren't going to screw up God's will (25:00) 2. When decisions are not moral in nature, moral language is unhelpful (28:26) 3. Wisdom is exceptionally important (35:10) 4. Wisdom is found by those who seek it (37:08) 5. This framework empowers incredible freedom and demands outrageous responsibility (43:40) 6. Effective, God-honoring decisions are not a checklist, they're a part of your identity (48:07) 7. How would you respond to someone who says they will live like an 11th hour worker and come to Christ toward the end of their life? 3. What is the main point of the parable? How does the context (the passages before and after this parable) help explain the point of the parable?4. God graciously allows us to be a part of His Kingdom and work for Him. What are some ways we can tell if we are working for His kingdom because of His grace or if we are working with an unhealthy motive? What are some motives for working for God's Kingdom that are not healthy?5. Why does it sometimes frustrate us when other people experience grace and mercy? What does this reveal about us if we are frustrated with this? What should we do if we experience this resentment?6. What are some ways we are like the 11th hours workers? How should this impact how we think about other 11th hour workers who experience God's grace?7. What does this parable teach us about God? Thursday - Matthew 22•. Friday - Matthew 25•. Saturday - Matthew 20:1-16 (Sermon text for Sunday) Home Church Questions 1. The first type of soil is the hard soil (Matt 13:4). According to Matt 13:19, explain who this type of soil represents. Who were the people who responded to Jesus' teaching in this way (see Matt 12)? 2. Have you ever been like the hard soil or do you know someone who is like this (unwilling to listen)? How should we respond to someone who is like the hard soil?3. The second type of soil is the rocky soil (13:5). According to Matt 13:20-21, explain who this type of soil represents. Some people see the phrase “fall away” in v.21 and assume this means someone can lose his/her salvation. What are other passages in the Bible that help us know we should not interpret this parable in this way?4. When a person trusts in Christ, we want to encourage that person and talk about security in Christ. We also learn from this parable we should not encourage a superficial decision. What does a healthy approach look like with these two concerns in mind?5. The third type of soil is the unfruitful soil (13:7). According to Matt 13:22, explain who this type of soil represents. What are some ways we can be confident we are not like this type of soil?6. The fourth type of soil is the fruitful soil (13:8). According to Matt 13:23, explain who this type of soil represents. What are some ways we should be producing? What is the fruit in our lives we should expect if we are like the good soil?7. The main point of the parable is not merely that we should produce and bear fruit (though this is a truth we see). The main emphasis is on hearing (we see the word “hear” 15 times in Matt 13:1-23). Why is it important that we emphasize hearing as we consider this parable? Thursday - Psalm 13•. Friday - Psalm 130Home Church Questions 1. Have someone read Psalm 42. Was there anything from the text or sermon that was especially helpful or interesting?2. The first characteristic of a lament psalm is the cry for help. Where do we see the cry for help in Psalm 42? Why do you think God wants us to learn to cry out to him? What does it look like to cry out to God? 3. Another characteristic of a lament psalm is the complaint. In Psalm 42 the psalmist has three complaints. The first one is with himself. Where do we see this in Psalm 42? Why is it important that we recognize we are often a part of the problem?4. Martyn Lloyd-Jones said, “Have you realized that most of your unhappiness in life is due to the fact that you are listening to yourself instead of talking to yourself?” What does this mean? Do you agree with him?5. The psalmist also has a complaint with God. Where do we see this in Psalm 42? What does it look like to complain to God about God? Have you ever done this? Why would using lament psalms to express our complaint be helpful? Do you have a lament psalm you like to use?6. The psalmist also expresses a complaint against his enemies. We discover that the problem is complex as there is a complaint with himself, with God, and with enemies. What lessons can we learn since the Bible portrays life and our problems as complex?7. The third characteristic of a lament psalm is the expression of confidence or hope. Where do we see this in Psalm 42? Why should it encourage us that every lament psalm includes an expression of hope? What does it look like for us to express confidence and hope even when we are lamenting? Pray for the Unreached: The Baghban in Pakistan The Baghban people of Pakistan are primarily gardeners and fruit sellers, deeply rooted in Muslim traditions. They speak various languages and are spread across rural and urban areas in India and Pakistan. Despite access to Christian resources, there are no known Christian adherents among them. We discover God is both majestic and mindful. The theological terms for this are transcendent and immanent. He is big and powerful and yet He is near and cares. Which of these two do you tend to emphasize when you think about God. Why is it important that we affirm both? 3. Psalm 8 emphasizes that God's glory is often seen in what is small and weak and even unlikely. Where do we see this in this psalm? Where do we see other examples of this idea in the Bible?4. Why do you think God often chooses to work in ways and use people we wouldn't expect? How should this truth that God uses unlikely people impact us?5. We tend to either have too high or too low a view of ourselves. It was mentioned in the sermon that the solution to both of these is to focus less on ourselves. What does it look like to focus less on ourselves? Why would this be a healthy solution?6. If we have a correct view of God and of ourselves, we will experience both humility and confidence. Explain why. What are some ways you can have a healthier view of yourself in light of this biblical teaching?7. Hebrews 2 lets us know Jesus fulfills Psalm 8 in a way that we cannot. What are some examples of ways we don't meet the standard of Psalm 8? What are some ways Jesus succeeds for us?Pray for our Partners: David & Eliška Živor, and children Linda, Dominik, and Daniela. -For the church plant in Řepy, and for strong leaders as they work to reach the community -For Eliška to have gospel opportunities as she works with the new preschool in Řepy -For additional funding, so that David can focus more time and effort on ministry FinancesWeekly Budget 35,297Giving For 08/11 27,541Giving For 08/18 26,674YTD Budget 247,080Giving 235,191, OVER/(UNDER) (11,889) Fellowship 101We invite you to join us on Sunday, September 8, at 9:00 a.m. to learn more about Fellowship. A Christian Political Identity - Sunday, August 25 & September 1, 9:00 a.m.Jesus announced the coming of the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:43). We are citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20) but residents of earth. Paul used his Roman citizenship (Acts 16) but did not attempt to overthrow political rulers. How do we navigate a political world of totalitarian political powers and concerns of “the end of democracy” while living in the midst of highly dysfunctional governments? Should we retreat to an echo chamber or just give up and pray? What do we learn from Jesus, Daniel, and Paul that might help us? Join us on Sunday, August 25 & September 1, at 9:00 AM as we explore a biblical worldview about a Christian political identity. Go to fellowshipconway.org/register to sign-up. Space is limited.
