While neither tournament featured huge names like Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, or Novak Djokovic, they still were high caliber tournaments and chances for players to show their level as this season comes to a close. Shockingly, we saw very few super high seeds end up in the final rounds of these tournaments, with favorites like Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev missing out to younger talent. Basel-Stadt hat gestern gewählt. Sechs von sieben Regierungsmitglieder wurden wiedergewählt. Einzig die Baudirektorin Esther Keller (GLP) muss in den zweiten Wahlgang. Im Basler Parlament gibt es keine grossen Verschiebungen. Verliererin der Grossratswahlen ist die LDP, sie verliert zwei Sitze. Ausserdem: * Der FCB gewinnt im Joggeli 2:1 gegen den FC St. Gallen * Der Fricktaler Jérôme Kym qualifiziert sich für die Swiss Indoors

Während die Grüne Partei in anderen Kantonen, und auch auf nationaler Ebene schwächelt, bleibt sie in Basel stark. Besonders die junge Generation der Grünen Partei hat ein gutes Resultat vorgelegt.
