Redes sociales: saulmarrerorivera (Facebook e Intagram)Correo electrónico: notasdefeyvida@gmail.comDirección postal: 189 Ave Las María apart 305, San Juan PR, 00927-4325Música: bensound.comInformación: vaticannews.vaSupport the show

This week we are talking to K from @wheeled_up_pup! K, Jake and their two pups, Tyra and Rey live in Northern Virginia and are known for their account wheeled_up_pup. K brought Tyra home when she was just five weeks old after she was born with deformed front legs and was sent to be euthanized by the breeder. K and Jake helped Tyra learn to walk and figure out how to use her first set of wheels. It was clear she was now their dog after learning how to walk with them and her adoption was made official last Fall. Tyra is now a spunky 6 pound pup and has taught K so much about resilience, about seeing a story beneath a behavior, about being your full self unapologetically, and about prioritizing joy and playfulness.Check out these *FREEBIES* for a journal prompt on navigating stress with your dog, mindfulness practices you can do as a dog owner and a mood tracker for you and your dog! This week we are talking to Michelle from @usthesedays! Michelle lives in Connecticut where she is mom to 3 year old pup Olive and her 1 year old daughter Hadley. You can find her outside playing in the dirt with her crew, rain or shine. She was diagnosed with narcolepsy after 20 years of misdiagnoses which is unfortunately so very common with sleep disorders. This experience made her passionate about sharing openly about narcolepsy, and more recently about motherhood and OCD. She is going back to school in the fall to get her Master's in Social Work with the goal of becoming a therapist. Michelle is an open source on how she has prioritized life with a dog, baby and family, how to set boundaries and how to advocate for yourself in a clinical setting. She has been a huge inspiration and expander for me in my mental health journey! This week we are talking to Tiffany from @loons.and.roogs! The crew behind the account Loons.and.Roogs is made up of Luna, a 5-year-old Aussie mix, Ruger, a 5-month-old Bernese/Pyrenees mix, and Tiffany. Luna was Tiffany's first dog, who she got back in college. And like so many college kids, she knew nothing about how to properly raise and care for a dog. Because of this, Luna developed severe fear-based reactivity towards dogs, kids, and some adults. Tiffany didn't understand what reactivity was, so this went unaddressed for years, and as you can imagine, got worse and worse. Thanks to the Dog Instagram community, Tiffany learned about reactivity and balanced training and embarked on the year and a half long journey working through Luna's fears. So much so, that Tiffany and her partner Austin recently added a second dog to their family, Ruger. Ruger and Luna were best friends at first sight. His goofy and calm demeanor has helped Luna accept him, and finally give her a companion that Tiffany always wanted to give her. They live in Colorado and spend as much time as they can in the mountains exploring.SHIRT LAUNCH COMING MAY 2 TO DOGMOMMENTALITY.COMFind Karoline and Layla on Instagram @dogmommentalityThis series is for fun, but if you would like to support me hosting it on podcast platforms ( & support Layla's frisbee fund) check out our Buy Me A Coffee Intro song: Let You Go (feat. This week we are talking to Rachael from @chesapeake_thefluffycorgi / @chessy_thefluffycorgi! Rachael and her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Chesapeake (AKA Chessy), live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and are very active in training and dog sports. Rachael thought she was set up for success when getting Chessy - she went through a reputable breeder, had lots of friends who had trained dogs, was already active in the dog IG world, and had done a lot of research. However, even though she had this idea in her head of what it would be like to bring a puppy home and had a support system, she realized it was nothing like what she thought it would be after her and her fiancé brough Chessy home. The decisions they made with Chessy's training, specifically doing a board and train at a younger age, had some negative side effects on the friend group she had made and she quickly saw how easy comparison can creep in.Try Open free for 30 days with code DMM30! Carly is the host of the With A Dog podcast and dog mom to two rescued hound dogs Lupin and Albus (of course named after Harry Potter characters). She's been working in the pet industry for the last 10 years but in her free time you can find her reading way too many books, covering her dogs with blankets while they nap, or exploring the PNW. She shared with me that her dog Lupin's various medical and behavioral issues through the years have taught her so much about resiliency, problem solving, and functioning in emergency situations. Lupin and living in London inspired her to travel with her dogs and start the With A Dog brand! This week's episode is part 1 of 4 of a series talking about how dogs have inspired career paths and businesses!Try Open free for 30 days with code DMM30! [[:encoded, "If you want to understand how to effectively brand your name, you first need to comprehend the basics of business branding. Business branding isn't a complicated process, but the success of your business branding relies on the relevance, quality and consistency of its design. nnMost business owners fall short when branding their business because they try to overcomplicate the process. However, if you follow the basics of business branding and resist the temptation to lose the focus of the message, you should be well on your way towards creating an effective brand. nnThe most important basic factor in branding your business is conveying a message. You only have a few seconds to capture the attention of potential clients, and in those few seconds, your brand must clearly convey several points. Make those few precious seconds count by making it easy for your audience to comprehend your specialty with just a glance. nnStick to these 4 Basic Rules of Business Branding and watch your business grow. nnBusiness Branding Rule #1: Choose colors wiselynIt may be your desire to choose colors that are most appealing to suit your personal taste, but they may not always be the most ideal for the success of your business. Advertising and marketing firms understand the emotions that colors convey and always choose the colors of their marketing carefully. Here's a quick reference for the emotions conveyed by common colors.nnRed: Very emotionally intense color. Associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Use it as an accent color to stimulate people to make quick decisions.nnOrange: To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. Use it to catch attention and highlight the most important elements of your design.nnYellow: Yellow is the color of sunshine and produces a warming effect. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow is an unstable and spontaneous color, so avoid using yellow if you want to suggest stability and safety.nnGreen: Symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety and has great healing power. Dark green is also commonly associated with money. nnBlue: Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. Avoid using blue when promoting food and cooking, because blue suppresses appetite.nnPurple: Symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. Conveys wealth and extravagance and is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic. Light purple is a good choice for a feminine design; use bright purple when promoting children's products.nnWhite: White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. Considered to be the color of perfection and conveys safety, purity, and cleanliness. Use white to suggest simplicity in high-tech products.nnBlack: Associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery. It usually carries a negative connotation, but denotes strength and authority. Combined with red or orange – other very powerful colors – black gives a very aggressive color scheme.nnBusiness Branding Rule #2: Let the logo do the talkingnIn those crucial first few seconds of grabbing a client's attention, your logo must convey a clear, concise message that is easily understood. For example, if you fix computers, consider including an image of computer and stethoscope to convey that you're a computer doctor. Or, if you own a hair salon include an image of old-fashioned vaSupport the show
