In Halloween fashion, it's time for our first sequel as we once again sample "Sharing Sizes" by Free Will Brewing. We'll discuss each of four beers that certainly aren't related to Twix, Almond Joy, Peanut Butter Cups, and Thin Mints. We'll talk about the changes in each brew as well as what's up with Free Will these days. Alongside the brews we'll be talking about the history of candy and its relationship to trick or treating. Come have a spooky brew and share some good times, and as always, enjoy.Cheers!

This may sound like gibberish, but your Bros are on a fantastical journey this week with Captain Lawrence Brewing Company and their collaboration with Snyder's of Hanover which created Snyder Bier. This marzen style beer certainly tastes like pretzels and we'll talk all about the history of Snyder's of Hanover while we sample this delicious brew. While talking pretzel's we'll also be talking about children's author Kenn Nesbitt who is certainly not as crazy as Shel Silverstein when it comes to the wild world of children's poetry. We'll talk his busy schedule and how he's delivering poetry to children during the pandemic. So grab a beer and join us for another great episode!Cheers!

We read a brief excerpt explaining how Gulliver winds up as the tiniest of babies in Brobdingnag. Gary Gygax and while it doesn't nearly do the brilliance of this gaming mind justice, it shows that in the end rules were way more beneficial to Gygax's career than poetry ever could have been. Paired with the history of Gygax we're looking at Sun King Brewing's "Genevieve," which is the official beer of Gencon. This week the Bros go both big and small. They're taking on the behemoth which is Molson Canadian, the type of mega corporation that makes Cyberpunk fears seem real. While they review this brew, they'll also sample a bit of Emile Nelligan, a tragically underappreciated French Canadian poet. Perhaps it's his fate, as the Bros will discuss while reading "Winter Night." They'll also discuss Prince, the meaning behind Milwaukee, and do their best to not butcher the French language. This week, Prose and Bros rhymes with Rimbaud and "Yellow Snow" a joke they certainly have never made before, as we bring you a podcast three weeks in the making. The lost episode is rerecorded and still suffers from technical issues, but that won't stop them from bringing you the beer and poetry history you crave. We'll discuss one of the most prolific poets who never wrote a word after 19, and how being a teenager doesn't excuse you from being a jerk. Along the way, we'll also discuss how a couple of bored executives started Rogue brewing, and produced this disgustingly titled beer. Henry Rollins also features for reasons you'll have to listen to discover!

Along with breaking down this pleasant poem, they'll discuss Radcliffe College, how Rachel Field relates to Disney, and, in a change of pace, some interesting goose facts! As they sip this against expectation winter ale they'll look into the history of Thomas Hardy, no relation to Ed or Tom.
