The conversation on America's Roundtable focuses on AG Jason Miyares's leadership in fighting opioids, reducing overdose deaths and reducing violence, thus making communitites in Virginia safer. The data released by Virginia Department of Health Office of the Chief Medical Examiner show fentanyl-related overdose deaths in Virginia declined 44 percent year-over-year and are down over 46 percent from its peak in 2021. Virginia led the nation in annual percentage declines in drug overdose deaths in 2024. The recent celebration of America's Independence Day on July 4th 2025, reminds us of America Founding Fathers' ingenuity in creating America's Founding Documents: The Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Virginia played a historic role in the founding of the American Republic - 249 years ago. America's Founding Fathers George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, George Mason, James Monroe, Patrick Henry and John Marshall were all Virginians. The timely discussion elevates the importance of combating anti-Semitism, and advancing principled policies based on the rule of law as well as affirming the significance of peace through strength. Bio | Jason S. Miyares (https://jasonmiyares.com/about/) Attorney General Jason Miyares' story doesn't start in Virginia Beach, Virginia, but in Havana, Cuba when his mother, Miriam Miyares, fled communist Cuba, penniless and homeless. She taught Jason a love for freedom, democracy, and that America is indeed the “last best hope on earth.” A product of Virginia public schools, Jason graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from James Madison University and received his J.D. from the College of William and Mary School of Law. He previously served as a prosecutor in the Virginia Beach Commonwealth's Attorney Office, where he worked alongside law enforcement to keep violent criminals off our streets and our communities safe. In 2015, almost fifty years to the day that she fled Cuba, Miriam was able to vote for her son Jason Miyares to represent her in the oldest democracy in the Western Hemisphere, the Virginia House of Delegates. While representing Virginia Beach, Jason was recognized as “Legislator of the Year” in both 2018 and 2019 from the College Affordability and Public Trust for his work on transparency and affordability in higher education, as well as by the Hampton Roads Military Officers Association of America in 2018. He was also recognized in 2019 by the Safe House Project for his work combatting human trafficking, an issue that his administration is prioritizing. Jason Miyares is the first Cuban American elected to the General Assembly, the first Hispanic elected statewide in Virginia, and the first son of an immigrant ever elected to be Attorney General. He is passionate about preserving the American Miracle for the next generation of Virginians. americasrt.com (https://americasrt.com/) https://summitleadersusa.com/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 X: @JasonMiyaresVA @americasrt1776 @ileaderssummit @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. On May 30, five members of a music group in Mexico were found murdered in the northeast of the country. Their group played a popular musical genre known as "narcocorridos" or "corridos tumbados" – songs that glorify drug cartels. After a string of controversial concerts, this type of music has become the subject of heated debate in Mexico. The government is trying to curb the influence of songs that praise cartel bosses. Meanwhile, "narcocorridos" performers are complaining of censorship. FRANCE 24's Quentin Duval, Laurence Cuvillier and Ed Augustin report.

We catch you up with much of what's happening in the World from the weekend in today's show. The show is full of important happenings and their analysis:An illegal alien assaulted numerous innocents in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday. This guy used a homemade blowtorch to burn people! One of his victims died. The U.S. Government has finally come to its senses and labeled Drug Cartels as domestic terrorists. We discuss the pertinent details of this process in detail.Russia and Ukraine were set to have more talks today to try to end the war. However, Ukraine over the weekend used massive drones and destroyed numerous Russian fighter jets deep inside Russia. More trans sports trauma made headlines over the weekend in track meets in Oregon. I address (personally) the craziness of the Trans Movement and its ancillary results. Today, I offer (on air) a fix that will resolve the Trans horror show with one quick and easy fix!Republicans have become obsessed with finding anyone who might be responsible for hiding Joe Biden during his four years as President. The subpoena process to force those who might be responsible for hiding Biden's cognitive decline is about to kick off. I confront that mindset as being little more than another distraction that is stealing the time and efforts of Congress that should be focused on specific and "current" issues that must be confronted and resolved immediately.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman discusses the critical loophole in the U.S.-China trade program, entry type 86, which allowed uninspected products valued under $800, facilitating the influx of fentanyl. Coleman highlights that 1.2 billion packages were uninspected last year, leading to overdose deaths. He praises the Trump administration for swiftly closing this loophole. Coleman also addresses the issue of unregulated Chinese vapes targeting youth and the harmful impact of TikTok's algorithm. He emphasizes Kentucky's innovative approaches to domestic violence prevention and praised the FBI's renewed focus on violent crime under Director Christopher Wray. Living on a poor turnip farm, a young boy was sent to fetch water one night. On the way back from the stream, he encountered a terrifying, giant hairy creature with eerie green eyes, causing him to scream and abandon the bucket in a panicked dash back to the house. His father, skeptical of the story, dismissed it as foolishness and insisted they retrieve the water, accompanying him to the porch but making him return alone. The boy spotted the creature again near the barn while retrieving the bucket, but his father nonchalantly suggested it was just bathing, leaving the incident unresolved. The experience became a source of ongoing teasing from his family and friends, persisting into the present day.Join my Supporters Club for $4.99 per month for exclusive stories:https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/what-if-it-s-true-podcast--5445587/support

In today's episode, Liz Wheeler interviews Maine reporter Steve Robinson about his new video of Maine Governor Janet Mills (D) running from the press in light of her defense of boys playing against girls in sports. The two discuss how Maine is a breeding ground for leftist ideas and other policies that harm the American people. But there are also many conservatives in Maine who support the president and his agenda. Will President Donald Trump's policies and takedown of Gov. Mills put Maine on the road to prosperity? Or is Maine too far gone to be saved? Plus, are illegal Chinese weed farms really allowed to operate in Maine? All that and more!
