Quels sont les règles, les lois existantes qui encadrent cette question ?Et puis quelles sont aussi les tendances pour cette génération Social Media Native ? Et comment les marques les atteignent par les réseaux sociaux ?Laisse pas trainer ton fils sur les réseaux sociaux !Les Social Media NativeCe matin on voulait vous parler de la génération Social Media Native !On parle là, de ceux qui ne sont pas seulement nés avec Internet mais aussi avec les réseaux sociaux !Il y a une étude justement qu’on va disséquer un peu pour vous, qui s’appelle justement : Born Social !Cette étude repose sur une étude quantitative auprès d’élèves de Collège, notamment les 11 et 12 ans, et aussi sur des contenus et des données publiques !Et là, premier chiffre qui fait mal : 84% des enfants de 12 ans ont un smartphone ! C’est énorme, et non seulement ils ont un smartphone mais ils passent 2h en moyenne par jour sur internet !C'est à la fois hallucinant et au final quand on y pense assez logique !E1 1 enfants sur 2 est inscrit sur un réseau social en 5e ! Et 90 % d’entre eux le sont en 3e !Les enfants de 5ème sont en moyenne inscrits à 3,6 plateformesLes limites d’âgeEn fait, c’est simple les réseaux sociaux sont interdits au enfants de moins de 13 ans. Les plateformes respectent la législation américaine et la limite d’âge est alors de 13 ans !C’est le cas par exemple pour le groupe Facebook !Pour entrer dans le détail, la loi américaine interdit la collecte des données personnelles sur des jeunes de moins de 13 ans. Et créer un compte avec de fausses informations constitue une infraction d’utilisation des réseaux sociaux. Même pour une personne de moins de 13 ans.En Europe, il n’existe pas d’uniformisation de la loi à ce niveau là !Mais la France a la même limite de 13 ans que les États-Unis !Malgré ces interdictions, nombreux sont les enfants de moins de 13 ans qui créer des comptes en mentant sur leur âge !Et il ne sont pas toujours si invisibles …#11yearsold > 307 K publications#10yearsold > 408 K publicationsLa loi française a évolué dernièrement avec le RGPD (Règlement Général sur la Protection des Données), adopté le 25 mai 2018. Il renforce le consentement et la transparence sur l’utilisation des donnés.Ce qui change notamment, c’est que les enfant à partir de 15 ans peuvent consentir seul, comme un majeur, la collecte de leurs données personnelles. Alors que les 13 et 14 ans ont besoin du consentement de leurs parents !Sur quelles plateformes sont-ils ?Ce que nous dit l’étude :Facebook c’est le réseau des adultes ! Soit ils ne connaissent pas ou ils voient juste leurs parents dessus ! Un 5e sur deux étaient sur Facebook en 2016, aujourd’hui c’est 20%. C’est la chute libre !Pas de surprise TikTok est la plateforme qui monte chez les très jeunes ! C’est le 3e plateforme la plus utilisé chez les 11, 12 ans ! Avec 45% !Snapchat est numéro 1 et encore en progression ! 90% des 11 - 12 ans ont un compte Snapchat ! C’est chaud !Instagram est numéro 2 et reste à iso avec 66% des 11, 12 ans qui ont un compte sur la plateforme !Pour en savoir plus voir notre épisode : Mais que font les moins de 13 ans sur les réseaux sociaux !La monté des messageries privéesOn ressent l’impact du Gaming notamment dans cette tendance !On retrouve Discord, que les plus jeunes utilisent beaucoup ! C’est une application de messagerie, tendance un peu forum aussi ! Il y a 250 millions utilisateurs ! Camille vous en aviez parlé notamment avec la Twitcheuse M0diie.Il va falloir surveiller l’appli de messagerie House Party qui marche très bien au États-Unis mais qui peine à percer en France ! Cependant elle vient d’être racheté par la société Epic, qui vient de l’intégrer à Fortnite ! Donc ça pourrait vite cartonner chez les plus jeunes !Avec cette application vous pouvez vous appeler jusqu’à 8 en même temps ! Par contre seulement avec des amis déjà enregistré !Génération conscienteC’est une génération qui a de plus en plus conscience de ce qu'elle risque sur les réseaux sociaux !En 2018, 43% seulement d'entre eux pensaient que les plateformes pouvaient leurs proposer des publicités ciblées, en 2019 ils sont maintenant 75% !Il y a une prise de conscience !Une génération qui a conscience des pubs mais qui veut suivre la mode et ses tendances par exemple. Ils suivent les marques de luxe aussi sur les réseaux sociaux afin de s’inspirer pour s’acheter des vêtements moins chère mais qui ressemblent à ce qu'ils ont vu !Les marques qui visent la génération Social Media NativeVous ne le savez peut-être pas mais les marques ce peuvent pas cibler les mineurs sur les plateformes !Impossible pour elle d’utiliser donc le levier publicitaire pour arriver à leurs fin !Ce n’est pas pour ça qu’une des voix qu’elles utilisent le plus est l’influence marketing !Et oui utiliser des Influenceurs sur les plateformes, des youtubeurs, des instagrameurs qui vont porter le message de marque auprès de votre cible très jeune !Les Marques / plateformes sont-elles incitatives ?Il y a tout ce cadre légal qu’on a parcourus ensemble dans ce podcast mais est-ce que la responsabilité n’est pas également du côté des plateformes ?Aujourd’hui les plateformes autorisent du contenu à destination des enfants alors que ceux-là même ne sont pas censés s’y trouver.On peux citer sans problème le compte Instagram de Gulli, il est clairement destiné aux enfants, avec leurs stars préférés des images de dessins animés.Et là, on a même trouvé pire en terme d’éthique Social média, dans leurs posts on repartage les comptes Instagram d’enfants de 11 ans et moins.The Voice Kids > on trouve des comptes d’enfants affichant moins de 11 ansMais on trouve aussi des parents qui font bien leur travail > Emilie, 14 ans > Comptes surveillé par mes parents !En 2019, des plateformes qui savent détecter et bloquer automatiquement une publication contenant une image un peu trop retouchée ne devraient-elles pas être capables de détecter des #12yo qui sont légion ?YoutubeYoutube est un point d’entrée important pour les moins de 13 ansSouvent la seule plateforme où les parents acceptent très jeunes qu’ils y soient.Les moins de 13 ans sont la plus grosse audience des Youtubeurs stars.Avec un écosystème pré ado dans la plateforme : ses propres créateurs de contenu, l’émergence de Youtubeurs social media native.KidsfluenceursOn les appelle les Kidsfluenceurs, on en voit pas trop en France encore. Mais aux États-Unis c’est la mode des enfants influenceurs !Nous, dans l’idée on avait Jordy : « Dur d’être un bébé » ! Mais on est vieux déjà, c’était un peu le premier kidfluenceur au final !En tout cas c’est une question important, peut-on faire de nos enfants des influenceurs ?Exemple : Samia Ali, 4 ans, était influenceuse avant même de savoir dire oui ou non ! Ses parents ont tout filmé, documenté, la grossesse, même l’accouchement était relayé sur Youtube ! Et si la plupart des contenus sont juste des moments de vie de Samia, d’autres sont des contenus sponsorisés par des marques de jouets ou d’alimentation !Aujourd’hui on retrouve des marques comme Walmart, Mattel, DreamWorks ou Claire’s qui paie des enfants influenceurs !Exemple : Ryan Tobs, 7 ans, était parmis la liste des stars Youtube les mieux payés du monde dans le classement Forbes de 2018 !Donc c’est bien beau de faire une Youtube Kids, où les contenus sponsorisé sont censés être interdit, mais où on retrouve des placements de produits dans toutes les vidéos des enfants influenceurs !. . .Le Super Daily est le podcast quotidien sur les réseaux sociaux.
