The Power of Dependence We are blessed to welcome Pastor and Life Links team leader Ian Byrd as he shares a powerful message with us. Together, we'll explore how God's definition of strength and success stands in stark contrast to the world's. In God's kingdom, true strength is found in weakness and in our dependence on Him. Even when our weakness stems from our own choices and mistakes, God can redeem every situation for His purposes and to advance His Kingdom.

“I find that people make the changes best when they uncover the information themselves. I can offer them information, but unless they come up with that solution, that's where real magic happens. That's where change happens when they come up with their own solution. And I find through the subconscious work with hypnosis and yoga nidra, that sometimes you just really need to be in that relaxed state to have it come to the surface. You didn't write your book just to check a box—you wrote it because you have something important to say. Something that will outlast a single post, a single talk, or even a single launch. A book is a legacy-building tool. It crystallizes your expertise, your message, and your unique lens on the world in a way that no other medium can. And when it's done right, it opens doors—not just for your business today, but for the reputation and body of work you'll be known for tomorrow. That's why I support entrepreneurs through their entire author journey—because writing and publishing are only the beginning. When you leverage your book as the foundation for your bigger mission, everything changes. I'd love to help you think long-term about your book's potential. There are so many unknowns when writing, publishing, and marketing your first business book. I applaud everyone who has managed to get a book out of their head and into a format that can be purchased. Simply publishing is not really the goal though, right? That's why I'm back with another author panel for my rebranded podcast, the Biz Book Publishing Hub! Stay tuned for a frank conversation about the highs and lows of being a business author. These authors participated in one of my Kindle Cross-Promotion campaigns, in which business authors lowered their Kindle book prices to 99 cents or $1.99. I organize these twice a year around Amazon Prime Days and Black Friday. Dozens of authors work collaboratively to spread the word and boost book sales. It's been a great way to generate interest in evergreen books published many years earlier and celebrate recent publications. The best part is that our collaboration doesn't end when the campaign is over. Nearly every author opted to sign up for an author panel after the event. With me today are three authors: Erin Lebacqz is the author of “High-Value Writing: Real Strategies for Real-World Writing” and its companion workbook, which provides hands-on strategies for managing your writing choices. Irma Parone created The WINX Decision Making Series authoring “WINX: The Problem-Solving Model to Win Exponentially with Customers, Employees and Your Bottom Line,” (for business owners and leadership teams) and “WINX for Employees: The Problem-Solving Model to Unlock Workplace Success” (for employees at all levels of an organization). Penny Zenker is known as The Focusologist. She is the author of “The Productivity Zone: Stop the Tug of War with Time” which shares a framework on how to avoid procrastination and perfectionism. New York City Comptroller Brad Lander is launching a new public dashboard this Thursday, that offers a detailed look at the city's shelter population by age and demographic. Meanwhile, the New York City Council is considering a bill to make it easier to tip delivery drivers after a city law mandated an increase in pay that delivery companies pay workers. Plus, about half of the mental health clubhouses operating in New York City are losing city funding and might have to close down. Despite criticism, Mayor Eric Adams says he wants to build larger clubhouses in favor of smaller ones to serve more people. WNYC's Michael Hill speaks with our healthcare reporter Caroline Lewis, and Lisa Farmer, a member of LifeLinks, one of the clubhouses in danger of shutting down.
Dean Smith interviews Diane Harrison on the Gift of Prophecy. Diane serves as the Prophetic coordinator for LifeLinks, an international network of churches.
Another great interview featuring Author ,Brenda Bradford Ward discussing his book Forty Years to Life, Gender identity conflict (GIC), family, acceptance , mental and emotional health, therapy, relationships, and more! Reason for writing the book: There is far too much and especially detrimental, confusion about the origin, diagnosis, and treatment of gender identity conflict (GIC). I faced that conflict alone for more than forty years. This book addresses each of those aspects from an intensely personal viewpoint. About the book: Each of us has the unfortunate ability to suppress conflicts that would destroy our lives or prevent our ever-living real ones. For Over four decades, I struggled with GIC in every possible way. The conflict would not remain in its carefully constructed little box but spring unexpectedly to temporarily overwhelm every other thought demanding action to satisfy its latest escape. In childhood, a promised “growing out of it” continually failed to resolve the conflict. Inevitable outbursts made the pursuit of honor and self-respect impossible. This seemed a problem for which there was no answer on this side of the veil. Love of family, faith, reason, literature, etc. tell us not easily to surrender the great gift of life. However unbearable “the whips and scorns of time,” Christ promised the Holy Spirit always will be with us. These are the thoughts, from earliest memory, that consumed a growing child considers continually. Regardless of the person or persons in whom such children might confide, the situation remains hopeless, save the possibility of transition.
