Join Stephen Buckley and Keith Buckley on their award-winning podcast where on The Overload Segment, the lads are joined by apprentice electrician, graphic designer and FAI football coach Lena Baldock. In this engaging conversation, Lina shares her journey as a young female electrician navigating the challenges of a male-dominated industry. From her school experiences and the decision to pursue a trade, to her recognition as a finalist in the Screwfix Apprentice of the Year, Lena's story is one of resilience, empowerment, and passion. She discusses the importance of mental health, community service, and her aspirations in graphic design and business, all while emphasizing the need for authenticity and support in both trades and sports. On the Product Of The Week Segment, the lads discuss a fire suppression device from Maus, that is a game changer for distribution boards and offers extra safety and time for occupants of the buildings where they are installed within. On the special guest interview segment, Stephen and Keith are joined by Shane Doherty to discuss the origins and journey of his business Little Red Sauces, a hot sauce company inspired by family traditions and a passion for cooking. They delve into the challenges of navigating the food industry, including regulations and sourcing ingredients, while emphasizing the importance of inclusivity in their products. The interview seaways midway into a taste testing segment that champions both the BBQ Sauce and Louisiana Sauce available in the market from Little Red Sauces, inviting Keith's apprentices and the Robus security guard into the studio to try out the sauces on some freshly cooked wings, where everybody gives their review. After the tasting, Stephen and Keith continue the chat with Shane and they discuss the key milestones in his business journey, including participation in the Super Value Food Academy and the significance of community support and insights into the taste testing process and the importance of feedback from friends and family. They discuss the balance between personal life and business commitments, emphasizing the need for community building and brand awareness. The conversation concludes with reflections on the joy of their work and a light-hearted song choice.Check out Lena on Instagram @lena.baldock.Check out Shane on Instagram @littleredsauces.To find out more about the podcast, check us out on Instagram @insightthestrippedbackpodcast and press on our bio link
Original Airdate 9/28/16Tonight's show has the guys discussing Every Time I Die's latest! From http://epitaph.com“The whole winter, the temperature was in the low teens. Bitterly cold,” says Every Time I Die's front man Keith Buckley regarding the months that yielded their eighth full-length album. But Keith and the rest of the band Jordan Buckley (guitar), Andy Williams (guitar), Daniel Davison (drums), and Steve Micciche (bass) aren't so hard up for pathos at this point that they're grumbling about the temperature outside. If anything, Low Teens is their most poignant and impassioned album in a career full of sardonic illuminations and pit-inciting fervor. The band was on tour in Toronto in December when Keith received a phone call that his wife was in the hospital with a life-threatening pregnancy complication. It was a harrowing night as Buckley left the tour and raced home to overwhelming uncertainty. Both wife and daughter survived the ordeal, but the moment of crisis had a lasting impact on Buckley and an inevitable role in shaping the lyrical scope of Low Teens.Low Teens' razor-sharp sound and auditory barbarism was abetted by engineer and producer Will Putney (Acacia Strain, Body Count, Exhumed). Low Teens' guest vocalists further demonstrate these polarized extremes, with formidable bellower Tim Singer (Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, No Escape) roaring alongside Buckley on opening track “Fear and Trembling” and longtime friend Brendan Urie (Panic! at the Disco) providing a melodic counterpoint on “It Remembers”. Yes, Every Time I Die has always juggled hardcore urgency, metal brutalism, and rock melodies, but never has it felt this instinctive or this vicious. The pressure drop that yielded Low Teens could have crippled a lesser band, but Every Time I Die weathered the winter to deliver their strongest offering to date because of, not in spite of, these hardships and roadblocks.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsoFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

Now that I am a grizzled podcasting veteran with whoahhhh 12 entire episodes behind him, I can look back at the good old days and identify tropes that unfold on nearly every episode. On nearly every episode, I talk about having near instant kinship with my guest. With Keith Buckley, man, I don't know, every time we talk, we're both restraining ourselves from going right into the woo shit. He's one of those 'deck of tarot cards' people: from minute to minute, he feels like my younger brother/ older brother/ nephew/ uncle/ son/ father. We have spent very little time together in the real world to feel this much love and trust. I would absolutely walk through fire with him. Keith's been going through some shit lately. He's gotten sober, his marriage ended, his band of 20 years ended. I'll confess, I was super worried about him. But he really sounds awesome. And I'm super proud of this conversation with him. Keith Buckley happens to be a 42 year old guy living in Buffalo, NY. He wrote two books and called them SCALE and WATCH. He used to be in a band called Every Time I Die. His wife Angie just got accepted into MENSA. His 6 year old daughter Zuzu just got her ears pierced.
Sergio Vega of Quicksand joins the Talk Toomey Podcast this week. Sergio and Joshua discuss his latest writing and production project that will feature multiple vocalists including Keith Buckley. Sergio also speaks on his joining Deftones, relationship with Chi and his recent departure from the band. They also talk about being a hired gun versus a full member. Sergio is very candid in this interview with his time in Deftones. They also discuss Deftones playing Riot Fest with the Misfits, his early influences with bass and the early days of Quicksand.Joshua and Chris start the episode talking about the recent comments that Dino has made about the new Fear Factory vocalist, Mark Hunter filling in with Lamb of God and the upcoming Anthrax/ BLS/ Hatebreed tour. They finish the episode with their breakdown of the return of the USFL and a player getting cut over a slice of pizza.
Join Matt and I as we chat about his recent tour with Keith Buckley, finding meaning in doing our respective podcasts, working in the bar industry and the reconnection of people though communication. Matt also shares how he has learned to be happy being alone, and if he's potentially self sabotaged his relationships to allow for his nomadic vagabond lifestyle, as well as us talking about weird societal norms of conversation in the work place and if one informs the other, and how a lot of these can be trauma triggers. We wrap up talking a bit about Matt's upcoming book, the differences in himself from the first to this one, what he wants to achieve with it and his future goals for his podcasts, writing and much more. Is the market for commercial space financing ventures and growth overheated? Are you in the early stages of a revolution or are you late to the party for financing? Why aren't you getting financing? Or why did you? (And can you get more?) Where are we in the cycle of financing for various types of commercial space company ventures? While some get financing easily, others struggle. How DO you get financing for space and satellite ventures? What is the reality for financing in this market? Does space financing have a different character? In this podcast, based on the March 16 edition of the New York Space Business Roundtable, we ask people who provide funding and those seeking it. Hosted by NYSA's Joseph Fargnoli and SSPI's Louis Zacharilla, the podcast's speakers include: Keith Buckley, CEO of Federos (now an Oracle company) Noel Rimalovski, GH Partners LLC

We've finally arrived at a pivotal moment in the show's history: an album both hosts absolutely despise. After Bryan rigged the show poll to get a convincing win for Puddle of Mudd after Kittie was hours away from victory, he reaps what he sows as he ends up misremembering the album as good and discovers that in the year of our lord 2020, the band Puddle of Mudd is very, very bad. In a continuing series where Bryan Quinby (Street Fight Radio) and John Cullen (Blocked Party) review one classic nu-metal album per month, the target this month is fairly big, as Come Clean is baffling from many angles: the lyrics, the songwriting, what genre it really belongs to, what era it was recorded in, and just how someone like Wes Scantlin managed to front a successful band. The fellas look at how this album managed to get popular despite all of these shortcomings, including Wes' own hometown of Kansas City essentially disowning him, him publicly insulting Fred Durst despite Fred being the one to break them, and a lead single where the song trails out with Wes Scantlin singing how he loves the way his girl smacks his ass. Plus, this month's Challenge gets personal as Bryan and John rewrite "She Hates Me" to include verses about their significant others. If you want to be loved in the same way as our significant others, you can donate to the show at https://patreon.com/thepodkast, where $4/month gets you access to a shiny new bonus bauble every month! We've done four bonus episodes so far with some fantastic guests like Nick Wiger of Doughboys, Molly Lambert of Nightcall, and Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die, and this month, we have Felix Biederman from Chapo Trap House joining us to discuss Everlast's Whitey Ford Sings the Blues. It's gonna be a good one, folks. Hop on board!
It took us 7 episodes, but we finally get down to the band who gave us our name: Payable on Death, or as you know them, P.O.D. Another album that bafflingly sold 6 million copies, overcoming its release on September 11th, 2001 and its reputation, being Christian Rock in a time where that wasn't cool, to become one of the best-selling nu-metal albums of all-time. Street Fight Radio's Bryan Quinby and Blocked Party's John Cullen sit down once again to review a classic nu-metal album as part of their monthly series about the genre. The boys take a long look at their own history with religion, their history with this album, and dissect some of the worst songs of the nu-metal era, from the shameless pandering of "Youth of the Nation" to the weird reggae crossovers to one of the worst utilizations of a guest feature ever as H.R. from Bad Brains gets subjected to whatever the hell that song is. It's an album that could've only existed in 2001, and despite it being our namesake...we don't really like it. Something we do like is doing one bonus episode every month on our Patreon. You can contribute at https://patreon.com/thepodkast, where $4 a month gets you access to that bonus episode. Last month, we had Keith Buckley, lead singer of Every Time I Die, join us to discuss the Ozzfest 2001 live album, and this month, we have another very special bonus episode with a very special guest. Join us on this journey back into the nu-metal abyss.
