The arrested suspect reportedly claimed that Allah had commanded him to carry out the attack, although the precise motive remains under investigation.  How many times are we expected to watch scenes like these before mainstream politicians admit that Europe has a serious problem with Islamist extremism?  They lecture ordinary people about diversity. They warn us about our language. They appear terrified of being accused of racism or Islamophobia. But where is their courage when women are being stabbed in the street or gay people are apparently targeted at Pride celebrations? It increasingly feels as though terrorist atrocities and extremist violence are being treated as acceptable collateral damage in the political establishment's pursuit of uncontrolled migration and multiculturalism at any cost. Let me make the distinction absolutely clear: A Muslim is a follower of a religion. An Islamist is a political extremist who wants religious ideology imposed upon society. Millions of peaceful, law-abiding Muslims reject terrorism and want to live freely in modern Western democracies. They must never be confused with radical Islamists who despise our freedoms, intimidate women, persecute gay people and seek to undermine liberal democracy. But refusing to make that distinction—and refusing to confront Islamist fascism—is not tolerance. It is cowardice.  There is growing anger throughout Western Europe. Ordinary people can see what is happening, yet mainstream politicians continue to avoid the issue. They promise to control illegal immigration, defend our borders and protect the public—but nothing fundamentally changes. Why? Is it incompetence, cowardice—or do they simply lack the political will to solve it? And where is Andy Burnham? Why has a man who apparently wants to lead Britain had so little to say about illegal immigration, integration and the threat of Islamist extremism?  When elected politicians refuse even to discuss the public's legitimate fears, they create a dangerous political vacuum. A new working paper on unauthorized immigration and housing prices is being used across social media to argue that Biden's illegal immigration surge caused a 30% rise in home prices and 20% rise in rents. But the actual claim was about 30% of home price growth in the average metro area studied, not a direct 30% increase caused by immigration. This matters because supply and demand are real. Adding millions of people to a housing market with restricted supply raises prices. But zoning laws, permitting delays, rent control, building codes, high interest rates, federal debt, and monetary policy all matter too. Headline in the Wall Street Journal: "The US added 1,200 new millionaires a day—" Lee Rogers: Mhm. Tara: "—last year." Not last year—a day, last year. 1,200 new millionaires— Lee Rogers: A day. Tara: —a day. Okay. China, how many did, um, you know, how many millionaires are there? Okay, so you look at the United States of America. Let's start with that. Total millionaires in the United States of America—and this is remarkable—23.6 million. Lee Rogers: Mhm. Tara: That's out of 342 million people. Okay, China—what, three, four times bigger?—they've only got 5.2. This is exactly the system, uh, that the Democrats are hoping to embrace. Literally, a lot of it funded by China. And the US gains have come thanks in large part to surging financial markets. Lee Rogers: Yeah. Tara: Uh, and so, I mean, you know, you're watching this. Just to give you some idea, okay? And this is what these FIFA fans are reacting to. It's kind of a measure. If you look at, um, how many millionaires that we have here in America—okay, 23.6 million. If you combine Germany, the UK, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Italy, you only get 11.5. It's roughly the same population. So here in America, 23.6 million millionaires. You take what is essentially Europe, and you throw in Australia, to get to 11.5 million millionaires. So you can see their, um, you know, the way they live is nothing like the way we live. We are so wealthy comparatively, and that's what they were so shocked about when they came here.
