Billboardbaby, is a Recording artist, Music Video Director and soon to be film festival award winning Director. She is not new to Talk With Turk! Billboardbaby has captivated film since the first day in front of the camera and have mad astounding leaps in front of the lens and behind the scenes in post production and editing. She has applied her talents to music videos such as Zombie, On me, Spiritual Warfare, S.T.A.B., Keep That Same Energy, BaeDreams, Bright Lights and many more to come. After realizing that time waits for no one and sometimes if you want the job done you have to do it yourself Billboard started a multimedia company to independently produce all the content necessary to continue on the path to being a successful artist. Directing and starring in her first ever 5 minute short film “Twitter Love” shot at her high school, Billboard cast every person from the extras to the main love interest & that's the moment she noticed a unique skill she stumbled upon. She also loves team work and naturally was able to put together a collective of crew members to help produce the film. Utilizing a crane and the hands of a few very talented visionaries, the first product was complete and ready to go. Billboardbaby's expertise in marketing and promotion online allowed the piece to reach over 14,000 views in less than moments of its release, with over 34,000 followers on Instagram now and counting daily Billboardbaby is ready to win and she will! The Emerging Rap Star grew up in Harlem, New York with a divine love for music, and acting. Creating music since the age of 8 years old and performing through out the tristate area with her childhood group “The Harlem Sunshine Girls” has been the foundation for expected longevity in the entertainment business. Billboardbaby was signed at the age of 15 to Def Jam‘s very own LL Cool J & featured on his Exit 13 album that released later that year. Now as an independent unsigned Phenomenon, the leverage she created is allowing her the trusted creative control in an contractual agreement over her future projects. Losing her sister to gun violence and her mother recently gave Billboardbaby added ammunition to succeed and spiritual backing to be a blessing... "The world is mine” after killing Shade 45 Radio Hot97 & Power 105 it is now time to do the same in other states and over seas. Constantly connecting with fans and genuine supporters on social media Clubhouse, Twitter, Instragram, YouTube, Tiktok etc has created a organic core following with out management ever or a major label deal has given me the experience of a lifetime & a blueprint to die for. Hangovers suck, so why in the world did we (or do we still) choose to keep drinking way too much?  My guest today was Aurelie (R-*L*-E) Davis who lives in Silver Lake and works in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.  Among the glitz and glam of Hollywood shoots, she found herself drinking way too much and after more hangovers than she cared to remember, she decided that enough was enough. Our conversation focused not so much on how bad hangovers are, but how much better life is without them -- and even without alcohol itself.  Instead of numbing our feelings and fuzzing the picture around us, Aurelie beautifully describes how we can live in HD by more fully experiencing all of the incredible things we encounter in our everyday lives, both the good and the bad.  You'll enjoy listening to all of her stories -- especially the one about Snoop Dogg! Connect with Aurelie on Instagram @aurelie_davis to view her amazing photographs and @sobrenity to follow her sober journey.
