In this episode of "Live at the Two Minute Warning," the Minnesota Vikings faced off against the Green Bay Packers in a highly anticipated NFC North battle. The Vikings were looking to reach a .500 record and prove their legitimacy as a team. However, this game took a devastating turn when Kirk Cousins, the Vikings' quarterback, suffered what appears to be a season-ending Achilles injury. Despite the injury setback, the Vikings put on an impressive performance, securing a 24-10 victory over the Packers. The defense played exceptionally well, holding the Packers to just ten points. D.J. Wonnum recorded two sacks, while Danielle Hunter added another sack to his impressive season total. The offense showed resilience, with K.J. Osborn stepping up and making key plays in the absence of Justin Jefferson. However, the focus now turns to the future of the Vikings' quarterback position. With Kirk Cousins potentially out for the season, the team will need to rely on Jaren Hall and Nick Mullins to lead the offense. Join the hosts of "Live at the Two Minute Warning" as they analyze the game, discuss the impact of Kirk Cousins' injury, and explore the options for the Vikings moving forward. It's a somber victory for the Purple, but the season is far from over. Tune in to find out how the Vikings will navigate this challenging situation. Fan with us!!! Jonathan also caught up with Richard, a farmer from Plumpton, Cumbria who applied for the funding during the last round to fund the installation of robotic milkers on his farm. Cousin Sal and the Degenerate Trifecta are back; are you ready for some Monday afternoon football? The Cleveland Browns/Las Vegas Raiders game was delayed but it's still Nick Mullins at quarterback as the line moves again. Sal recaps the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl/Extra Points Christmas Party as everyone is mad at Harry for insisting that they bet the over; Jimmy Kimmel calls Harry a mush on national television. However, THREE fans get a perfect score on the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl prop quiz and win! The guys discuss the NFL Week 15 games as Aaron Rodgers seems to take a step ahead of Tom Brady for MVP and a look at Coach of the Year odds. Next, the Cowboys beat the Giants as Eddie doesn't understand why they would play Mike Glennon and if they even have an NFL-ready QB on their roster? John Harbaugh goes for 2 and the win again, Sal thinks it was the right call but not the right play. Plus, the Lions stun the Cardinals and odds on the worst record update. The guys then give their picks for the Monday night game between the Vikings and Bears as well as props and their award-winning first touchdown picks. Plus, Harry's big scare at the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl!
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Cleveland Browns NFL Pick Prediction 12/20/2021 by Tony T. Raiders at Browns—Las Vegas will be without tight end Darren Waller and middle linebacker Perryman. On Cleveland starting quarterback Baker Mayfield and backup Case Keenum out. It will be third string Nick Mullins getting the start. Running back Kareem Hunt is out. Wide receiver Jarvin Landry is out as is tight end Hooper. Two offensive linemen out for the Browns. On defense two starters on the defensive line out with another questionable. In the secondary both safeties and a corner out. Seven backups on defense out. Raiders fell to 6-7 after an embarrassing 48-9 road defeat at Kansas City. Back to back road games for Las Vegas but instead of a short week they get extra rest to cover for the travel day. Past three games Raiders averaging 282 yards passing with 69.7% completion rate. On defense they are holding opponents to 3.9 yards per rush. Browns offense has struggled in this span with 300 yards averaging, 4 yards per rush and only 5.9 yards per pass attempt. Play Las Vegas -3.
My perspective-changing conversation with a guy who lost his sight at 18.
On this week's episode we're talking about the final cuts for NFL teams, with casualties including Cam Newton, Brian Hoyer, Nick Mullins and Ben D'Nucci. Mac Jones is named starting QB for the Patriots, the Bills submit plans for a new stadium in Orchard Park and the return of the Into Sports and Stuff Survivor Football Pool. The New York Mets get told to stop being petty as they were giving their fans thumbs down gestures in response to being booed for poor play. The Jays are fading in the Wildcard race and Vladdy is trying to keep pace with Ohtani in the MVP race. We recap the last couple weeks of game play in the Big Brother house and reflect on how impressive the "Cook Out" 6-person alliance has been. Hosk has lots of stuff to talk about including the Women's World Hockey Championships, Stefanos Tsitsipas being accused of cheating during his opening match at the US Open, Patrick Cantlay defeats Bryson in a 6-hole playoff to sit atop the FedEx cup standings heading into the Tour Championship, Michigan wins the LLWS but a young lefty from South Dakota stole the headlines with his impressive pitching lines in the tournament, Ronaldo is heading back to Manchester United, the Carolina Hurricanes sign Kotkaniemi to a $6.1m offer sheet, and College Football is back. To close the show Jones takes us through another segment of The Grill where we answer some questions about Robbie Ray's Cy Young chances, Over/Under for how many fans get ejected for calling Bryson "Brooksie" this weekend, Hamilton to host an outdoor hockey game between the Leafs and Sabres next March and is the Canada/US Women's hockey rivalry the best in sports currently. What motivates the activists? Grassroots activism can take many forms, from protests to letter-writing to citizen science to community organizing. But these often more local forms of activism can get short shrift compared to the more powerful, national players in climate and environmental movements. Nick Mullins, a former fifth-generation coal miner, grew up seeing multiple generations of his family endure hardships created by our nation’s demand for cheap coal. In search of decent pay, he became a miner himself – but he eventually left the industry in search of justice for his mountain communities. James Coleman started his career as a teenage climate activist before becoming the youngest elected public official in California in over 100 years. San Francisco activist Marie Harrison fought against environmental contamination of her community by the U.S. Navy and a fossil-fuel-burning power plant – and now her daughter, Arieann Harrison, has picked up her mantle to continue pushing for environmental justice. Mullins, Coleman, and dozens of activists featured in Audrea Lim’s book The World We Need, Stories and Lessons from America’s Unsung Environmental Movement represent just a fraction of those motivated to take action on climate. “The thing about grassroots activism, actually, apart from the stereotype is that it’s really just people in a community who see a problem and then they get together on their own and try to find a solution to it,” says Audrea Lim. What can grassroots activists do that national organizations can’t? And what can their stories and experiences teach us? Mullins, Coleman, and dozens of activists featured in Audrea Lim's book The World We Need, Stories and Lessons from America's Unsung Environmental Movement represent just a fraction of those motivated to take action on climate. “The thing about grassroots activism, actually, apart from the stereotype is that it's really just people in a community who see a problem and then they get together on their own and try to find a solution to it,” says Audrea Lim. What can grassroots activists do that national organizations can't? And what can their stories and experiences teach us?
