If you're outside right now, or the next time you are, just watch what happens when a woman passes by men sitting at their shops, talking on their phones, or waiting at the red lights. Notice where their eyes go. Notice what they stare at. You'll get the point. And if you're a woman yourself: You'll thank Allah for legislating the Hijab. In this episode of the explanation of الأربعون النسائية (Al-Arbaeen An-Nisaa'iyyah — The Forty Hadiths for Women), Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan explains the third hadith, where the Prophet ﷺ said something every Muslimah should remember before stepping out of her house. He shows how Shaytan seizes that moment not just to tempt her, but to spread fitnah among men and women alike. Think about what we see on social media every day. Do we realise what doors we open when we put ourselves out there? All those pictures, videos, and posts that stay long after we're gone? This hadith doesn't just mention a ruling. It opens our eyes to the hidden harms, the subtle traps, and the better ways our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters can protect themselves. Watch till the end to see how our Salaf understood this, and why ignoring it only brings regret in this life, and worse in the next. You think your Iman is safe… that you'll die with it intact, no matter what. But watch how quickly it gets chipped away when doubts come dressed as trends, debates, or posts that sound clever — until your heart's spinning at night, wondering what's true. Your Aqeedah isn't just a label. It's your shield when the world keeps pushing you to blur the lines. And a shield only works if you know what you're holding. Manzoomah Al-Ahsaai isn't just an old poem for scholars to memorise — it's a lifeline. A clear, powerful map of the beliefs every Muslim needs to anchor their heart. In this 5-hour deep dive, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan unpacks each line with proofs from the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the way of the Salaf. You'll see why Tawheed, Qadr, the grave, the scales, and the Day you see Allah — none of it is just theory. It's what keeps your Iman steady when everyone's telling you to loosen your grip. You've got 168 hours for the world's noise this week. Take just five to strengthen what matters more than anything else. Study the kind of Aqeedah that lets you sleep at night when the doubts hit, the debates rage, and your soul whispers: “Where do I stand?” May Allah keep our creed pure and our hearts firm. Watch till the end. Share it with someone who's searching for solid ground right now. And keep building your Aqeedah like the Salaf did — step by step, truth by truth. Why do sins that once made the Salaf tremble now sit so calmly on our shoulders? You disobey Allah and feel nothing. No uneasiness, no fear that His punishment could strike in an instant, no dread of growing distant from Him. Why do your eyes stay dry, refusing to shed even a single tear alone in the dark, out of fear of His anger? Those same sins that would steal their sleep pass through us like shadows. We walk on, hearts heavy yet hollow. In this lesson from the explanation of the book Ad-Daa' Wa Ad-Dawaa' by Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan shares piercing words and Aathaar from the Salaf on the topic of sin. They saw how entire communities fall when people keep sinning without shame. Corrupt leaders rise. Families break apart. Blessings slip through our fingers. All because we sin and don't care. When was the last time your heart flinched at a sin? Or has it turned numb, just drifting? This is your chance to wake up before it's too late. Gary Weber, a member of the Strangite Church, shared unique insights into their doctrines, including polygamy, baptism for the dead, and their distinctive interpretation of the "stick of Judah" prophecy. https://youtu.be/_e1Zm605gtE 0:00 Distinctive Stance on Polygamy The Strangite Church believes that polygamy is an eternal principle and can be acceptable to God if commanded by Him, primarily "to build up seed unto [His] name," not for lustful purposes. This aligns with the Book of Jacob in the Book of Mormon, which states one should have only one wife "unless I command you otherwise.” Historical figures like Abraham are cited as examples of righteous men who practiced it when commanded. Regarding their founder, James Strang, initially, he was against polygamy. However, he later embraced it, reportedly through inspiration from God on Beaver Island, allowing it as part of the "Book of the Law of the Lord.” It's notable that its practice was limited, with perhaps only five families out of thousands practicing it due to financial constraints and the crucial requirement that the wife must not object. Currently, the Strangite Church does not practice polygamy. This is primarily because they believe in keeping the laws of the land, and polygamy is against the law. They hold that God would not put people in a position to break the law and go to jail. Gary Weber noted that Joseph Smith also said, "We believe in keeping the laws of the land.” Furthermore, they believe that only a prophet can "usher in a dispensation for polygamy.” Interestingly, Gary mentioned that Joseph Smith allegedly cut off a Mr. Brown from the church for practicing and teaching polygamy three months before his death, suggesting an inconsistency in Joseph Smith's own stated position if he himself practiced it. 5:17 Baptism for the Dead Another unique doctrine discussed is baptism for the dead, which the Strangites believe requires a prophet to "usher in a dispensation" and obtain "the keys from Elijah.” They assert that both Joseph Smith and James A. Strang received these keys and therefore practiced it. The "Book of the Law of the Lord" includes a section on the doctrine of baptism for the dead, which is described as identical to the information Joseph Smith put out in the 1835 edition of the Doctrine and Covenants. A significant difference between the Strangite practice and that of the Utah Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is that the Strangites believe that the sex of the person does not matter; a woman could be baptized for her deceased father if he hadn't been baptized. In contrast, the Utah church generally practices that women baptize for women and men for men. However, the Strangite Church does not currently practice baptism for the dead. The reason, similar to polygamy, is the absence of a living prophet on the earth. 8:39 Waiting for the Prophet of the "Stick of Judah" The Strangite Church has a distinct eschatological belief tied to a prophecy in Genesis 49, where Jacob blesses his 12 sons. When speaking of Judah, it states, "the lawgiver shall not depart between the feet of Judah.” They interpret this to mean that after Joseph Smith, who they consider the prophet of the "stick of Ephraim," there was to be a prophet from the tribe of Judah who would "bring forth the book of the law.” This next prophet is expected to remain in the house of Judah, from the tribe of King David, and will take the gospel to the house of Israel. The Strangite Church is currently waiting for this prophet to come forth, as they believe there was meant to be an "indirect period of time" after James Strang, before the "house of Israel's dispensation to the Jews" began. 13:29 James Strang's Life & Beaver Island Community James Strang lived in the Voree/Burlington area, Wisconsin, from about 1842 until approximately 1849 or 1850. He then moved his community to Beaver Island around 1850,

In this week's message, we look at Israel's stunning defeat in 1 Samuel 4, even with the Ark of the Covenant in their hands. Why? Because God's presence isn't a good luck charm. He can't be controlled or used for our gain. True victory comes when we walk in obedience and reverence before Him.

God speaks loudest when His people aren't listening. The prophet Ezekiel knew this challenge intimately, serving a "hard-headed" community of Jewish exiles who had lost their homeland, their temple, and seemingly their connection to God. Rather than just delivering another sermon, God directed Ezekiel to become a living demonstration—building miniature siege works, tunneling through walls, lying motionless for months, and employing bizarre visual aids that couldn't be ignored. What makes Ezekiel such a fascinating prophet is how thoroughly God documented His messages. Eleven times throughout this prophetic book, we find precisely dated revelations that create a 22-year ministry timeline beginning July 31, 593 BC. This meticulous dating wasn't just for historical accuracy; it established divine authority for messages that often contradicted what people wanted to hear. While false prophets promised a quick return from exile, Ezekiel delivered the uncomfortable truth that restoration would follow a lengthy period of judgment. The book's clear three-part structure illuminates God's larger purposes: chapters 1-24 pronounce judgment against rebellious Israel, chapters 25-39 address the surrounding nations, and chapters 40-48 provide hope through promises of future restoration. This organizational framework offers crucial context for interpreting Ezekiel's challenging visions, especially his detailed temple prophecies that have perplexed readers for centuries.Perhaps most encouraging is the realization that Ezekiel himself was an ordinary person transformed by extraordinary divine encounter. When "the hand of the Lord" came upon him, this displaced priest became a powerful messenger. The same principle applies to us—our effectiveness in ministry doesn't depend on innate abilities but on God's empowering presence working through willing vessels.Whether you're familiar with prophecy or approaching these ancient texts for the first time, join us in this verse-by-verse exploration of Ezekiel's remarkable visions, dramatic object lessons, and timeless message of judgment and restoration. Jonah Chapter 4:1- 5 (KJV) Verse 1 But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.Verse 2 And he prayed unto the Lord, and said, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.Verse 3 Therefore now, O Lord, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.Verse 4 Then said the Lord, Doest thou well to be angry?Verse 5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.——————————————————————Jonah and the City of Nineveh, Jonah and the Big Fish, Prophet Jonah, Nineveh, Bible Story, Old Testament, God's Mercy, God's Judgment, Divine Mercy, Divine Judgment, Repentance, Forgiveness, Salvation, Obedience, Disobedience, Grace, Faith, Christianity, Biblical Narratives, Religious Stories, Spiritual Lessons, God, Jesus, Children's Bible Stories, Bible Study, Religious Education, Sermon Topic———————————————————————#jonahandthecityofnineveh #jonahandthebigfish #biblestories #godmercy #godjudgement #god #jesus

Jesus in the Old Testament Isaiah 24:1-6; 25:6-8; 26:19-27:1 | Rev. Blake Arnoult
Revelation Dates: March – April, 1832 Revelation Places: Hiram Ohio and Jackson County, Missouri Section 81 - Historical Background: This revelation was given originally to a relatively unknown person named Jesse Gause, to be a counsellor to Joseph Smith in the Presidency of the High Priesthood. However, Gause was unfaithful so he was replaced by Fredrick G. Williams. This Presidency was a forerunner to the “First Presidency” which was formally organized a year later, on March 18, 1833. When these revelations were published in 1835, section 81 was changed to omit the name of Jesse Gause and replace it with Frederick G. Williams. This section is more relevant to the calling of counsellor to the Prophet, his duties and the designation of priesthood keys to the First Presidency, than it is to an individual at the time the revelation was given; hence the name change to Gause's replacement, Frederick G. Williams. Recap: Frederick G. Williams to be called as a High Priest and counsellor to Joseph Smith in the Presidency of the High Priesthood, which Presidency shares the keys to the kingdom. Pray always, proclaim the gospel, promote Jesus Christ, be faithful, strengthen the weak. Section 82 - Historical Background: The mobs were so troublesome, that Joseph and Sidney left Hiram Ohio and travelled to Independence, Missouri where Joseph was joyfully welcomed by the saints in Zion. On April 26, 1832, Joseph held a church conference where he was sustained as the President of the High Priesthood. During the conference, Joseph received this revelation. Recap: The congregation is commanded to repent, for where much is given much is required. The Lord explains that the people ask for revelations and receive them, but then trample on their new knowledge. The Lord is bound to bless them when they are obedient, but when they are disobedient they have no promise. Zion must strengthen and enlarge her stakes. Every family leader is to be given a stewardship to improve the welfare of family and church. The Law of Consecration is a permanent and everlasting law of God. Make friends with your enemies and let God be their judge. Section 83 - Historical Background: After closing church conference in Independence, Joseph went to visit the settlement of the Colesville saints. They rejoiced with Joseph and expressed great love and support. Returning to Independence, Joseph received this revelation dealing with the responsibility in the church over women, children and the poor. Recap: All faithful women of the church have claim on their husband to provide for their needs. If the woman becomes unfaithful, she will not be included in the congregation, but she will still have legal rights to her stewardship. All children have claim upon their parents until they are of age. The bishop's storehouse will provide for the needs of widows, orphans and the poor.

Torah Portion -Balak: (Numbers 22:2–25:9) - The Occult Prophet Balaam, A Prophet For Hire by Shawn Ozbun
In the final chapter of Daniel, the prophet is shown that those who are wise and faithful will one day awake to everlasting life. This teaching explores Daniel 12 through history—not speculation—and reveals how God's justice will prevail, even beyond the grave. Daniel's life ends with a promise: resurrection and reward for enduring faithfulness. Daniel chapter 12 closes the prophet's visions with one of the most profound promises in Scripture: resurrection to everlasting life for the righteous. In this episode, we avoid speculative eschatology and focus on what history confirms and the moral truths we can apply. We examine how Michael the archangel arose to defend God's people, how the Maccabees fulfilled their role as the “shining ones” who turned many to righteousness, and how the resurrection remains a future hope for the faithful. From Hebrew wordplay to prophetic patterns, this teaching shows how Daniel's vision offers timeless encouragement for those who endure suffering in hope of the coming kingdom. Spiritual Takeaway - Daniel 12 reminds us that faithfulness in exile is not in vain. The righteous will shine like stars and be raised to everlasting life. Stand firm—resurrection is coming.

In this gripping journey through Parshat Balak, Rabbi Bernath reveals the hidden spiritual war behind the political drama. Balak, king of Moav, turns to the infamous prophet Bilaam to curse Israel—but instead, Bilaam becomes an unwitting conduit for some of the most beautiful blessings in Torah. From the fall of Sichon and Og to the rise of Pinchas, this class explores how even our enemies testify to our eternal strength—and how every darkness can be transformed into light.TakeawaysSpiritual Warfare: The real battle wasn't fought with swords, it was waged in the heavens. Balak understood the power of spiritual energy and tried to use it against the Jews.Power of Blessing: Bilaam, despite himself, delivered the deepest praises of the Jewish people, because truth isn't controlled by ego, but by G-d.The Danger Within: When external curses failed, Bilaam exploited internal weakness—seduction and immorality. The greatest danger often comes from within.Transformation is Inevitable: Even klipah (spiritual husks) serve holiness in the end. Bilaam's blessings live on—while his plots fade into oblivion.Identity is Non-Negotiable: The Jewish soul cannot be cursed. Our truth is eternal, our connection Divine, and our mission unshakable—even our enemies admit it.#ParshatBalak #Balak #Judaism #Torah #Bible #BibleStudy #Bilaam #Moav #Moshiach #Curses #Prophecy #Parsha #TorahPortion #TorahLessons #TorahPortion Support the showGot your own question for Rabbi Bernath? Juwayriya bint al-Harith (RA) was a noblewoman from the Banu Mustaliq tribe and later became one of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Her birth name was Barrah, which the Prophet (ﷺ) later changed to Juwayriya, meaning “little girl” or “young woman.” She was the daughter of al-Harith ibn Abi Dirar, the chief of the Banu Mustaliq tribe. In 5 AH (627 CE), during the expedition against Banu Mustaliq, her tribe was defeated by the Muslims, and Juwayriya (RA) was taken captive. She fell into the share of Thabit ibn Qays, a companion of the Prophet (ﷺ). Desiring freedom, Juwayriya (RA) negotiated a mukataba (contract of emancipation) with Thabit. She then approached the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to help her fulfill it. The Prophet (ﷺ) not only agreed to help her but also offered to marry her, to which she consented. Upon their marriage, the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ), out of respect for the new marital bond, freed around 100 of her tribespeople, saying, “These are the in-laws of the Messenger of Allah.” This act led to a great reconciliation between her tribe and the Muslims. Juwayriya (RA) was known for her devotion to worship and piety. One authentic hadith mentions that the Prophet (ﷺ) found her engaged in dhikr (remembrance of Allah) from after Fajr until mid-morning, highlighting her spiritual commitment. July 14-20In the last two podcasts we have talked about the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible and the tremendous blessings that came to the Prophet Joseph and to Sidney Rigdon as they carefully studied, pondered and meticulously prayed over the Bible. One of the great blessings that came was The Vision of the Three Degrees of Glory. In this week's lesson we get a micro-specific peek into the process of coming to understand a very difficult passage of scripture. The Prophet is asking the Lord very specific questions about Chapters 4 and 7 through 11 in the book of Revelation. And it's not so much what was revealed to Joseph that was important to us as it was the pattern for studying the scriptures and receiving personal revelation.

In this final episode in our three part series focusing on Piers Morgan and his YouTube show, Piers MorganUncensored, we speak with two tough people about how to handle this new wild west of independent media. First up is Emily Schrader, journalist and activist with particular expertise on Iran. She also has a huge social media following, and for good reason. A regular guest on Uncensored, Schrader has gone head-to-head with some of the most vicious antisemitic and anti-Israel personalities out there. Sharp as a tack, unflappable and ever cool, Schrader explains the value she sees in going on a show like Uncensored and also discusses the conundrum of possibly legitimizing extremist voices by merely agreeing to appear alongside them.Ridvan Aydemir has more than 500,000 followers on his YouTube channel, where he is known as the ApostateProphet. Raised in a strict Muslim home, Ridvan left the religion and is a fierce critic of many of the values he learned as a child. He is also no fan of Piers Morgan or his work, having been shunned by his show after explaining to Morgan's staff that he'd go on but only to discuss some of the thornier issues relating to Islamism. This led to a clash between Ridvan and Morgan on X, and here we are. Morgan had his say on X. Ridvan has his here. Like Lee Kern in part 2 of this series, Ridvan Aydemir dismisses Piers Morgan as someone chasing clicks and attention. Nothing more.We think this man and his show are very important. Many people out there look to Piers Morgan and his show as a source of news and information. Is it?State of Tel Aviv is a reader-supported publication.
