East Carolina took a big step towards putting itself in position to win another American Athletic Conference, sweeping Memphis on the road in impressive fashion to take a two-game lead in the conference race with three regular season weekends left. ECU now sits atop the league standings at 14-4, ahead of UTSA - which dropped a series at Rice and is now 12-6. The Pirates also defeated NC State in the midweek to sweep the season series. ECU has won eight in a row overall and is 35-8 on the campaign. The Pirates operated the 4-0 week without the availability of two of their top arms in Zach Root and Wyatt Lunsford-Shenkman. Trey Yesavage threw 6.2 no-hit innings on Friday night in the win at Memphis to continue his stellar season. Carter Cunningham homered three times over the weekend as the Pirates scored 36 runs in Memphis. Benjamin Netanyahu's government has officially taken power in Israel, and though leftists are protesting, his agenda could lead to greater security and a resurgence for the nation. Tensions between Serbia and Kosovo are rising, and some fear that Russia could stir up trouble to increase pressure on Europe. Ukraine retook swathes of territory previously captured by Russia. Could this be a turning point in the war? We talk to Globe and Mail reporter Mark MacKinnon; and Evelyn Farkas, executive director of the McCain Institute.
The Ukrainian military makes huge advances in their war against Russia. New Hampshire prepares for the final primary day of this election cycle. Doug Heye, Stephanie Schriock and Tia Mitchell join the Meet the Press NOW roundtable.
