The BBC article reports that the U.S. military carried out new strikes in southern Iran, targeting missile launch sites and boats that were allegedly trying to lay mines. The U.S. said the strikes were done in self‑defense to protect its troops, even though a ceasefire between the two countries is still in place. The strikes come at the same time as ongoing talks to reach a peace deal, and it’s unclear how the attacks will affect those negotiations. Iran is demanding the immediate release of $12 billion in frozen assets held in Qatar as a precondition for continuing the talks with the United States. The next morning the U.S. carried out targeted strikes on Iranian missile sites and boats in southern Iran, saying actions were necessary to defend its forces during an already fragile ceasefire. Iran has condemned the strikes and ongoing peace talks remain uncertain, leaving the region on edge and the risk of further escalation still high. All 18 US intelligence agencies have confirmed on the record: Iran does not possess nuclear weapons and is not currently building one. Yet the Iran war machine is in motion. The US-Iran war is being justified on contested — and deliberately ignored — intelligence. In this episode of The Voices of War, Maz breaks down the Iran war explained from the ground up. Not through headlines. Through pattern recognition. From the Trump Iran war framing to the fracture between intelligence and political action — from Iran nuclear weapons claims to a cascading, networked Middle East war — this is the analysis the mainstream won't give you. What this episode covers: → Why the Iran conflict rests on a documented intelligence paradox → Two morally justifiable positions — and why neither side can hear the other → How the US Iran war escalates through a networked Middle East conflict → The gap between moral rhetoric and national interests — and who benefits → Why the Iran nuclear program intelligence has been overridden by political momentum → Why miscalculation is no longer a risk — it's now an expectation → The "Unfreeze" phase of world order — and what it costs in blood War doesn't solve problems. It redesigns structures. This is what that looks like.

#367: Have you ever felt that deep yes in your body about speaking up, protesting, or naming injustice… and then frozen the moment someone showed disapproval? What if learning to unfreeze isn't just about personal healing, but essential for collective liberation? In this episode, I explore how emotional outsourcing keeps us frozen when our values are calling us forward. I break down what happens in your nervous system when disapproval feels like a survival threat, why your amygdala overrides your moral clarity, and how the freeze response makes you disappear energetically even when you're still in the room. This isn't about cowardice. It's about conditioning. Tune in today to learn how to recognize freeze in real time, how to resource your nervous system to unfreeze, why small acts of authenticity build courage, and why community is essential for collective liberation. I also share practical steps to honor your values without collapsing into fear and how choosing integrity over comfort becomes revolutionary, one micro choice at a time.Click here to check out Anchored: https://beatrizalbina.com/anchored/Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: https://beatrizalbina.com/367 Order your copy of End Emotional Outsourcing here: https://beatrizalbina.com/book/ Follow me here: https://www.instagram.com/beatrizvictoriaalbinanp/?hl=enMentioned in this episode:Join Anchored! If you're ready to break away from anxiety and codependent relationships so you can live a life of joy and confidence, Anchored is for you. The holidays are here… which means joy, cookies, twinkle lights, and—let's be honest—a whole lot of humans who can push our buttons. In this solo episode, Anne breaks down a powerful emotional-intelligence concept she calls “freezing people.” It's the unconscious habit of locking someone into one moment, one mistake, or one harmful comment… and then carrying that version of them forever.Using real-life stories, a little tough love, and her signature playful honesty, Anne explores how freezing people hurts us more than them, ramps up holiday stress, and blocks us from healthier communication and relationships. She shares a simple mindset shift that helps you see others as full, evolving humans—so you can walk into family gatherings (or LinkedIn encounters!) with more EQ, less dread, and a more grounded sense of self-awareness.Whether it's a colleague who once shut you down, a family member who offended you five years ago, or the cousin with that one unfortunate moment—we all freeze people. But we can unfreeze them… and unfreeze ourselves in the process. In this episode you'll learn:Why your brain “freezes” people—and how emotional intelligence helps you thaw the storyHow freezing impacts your stress, relationships, and ability to communicateA perspective-shift you can use before walking into holiday gatheringsHow to see people through multiple lenses (their child, their partner, their best friend… even their dog!)A simple EQ practice to create more ease, compassion, and resilience this seasonPerfect for you if……you want a calmer holiday, stronger relationships, or a little emotional-intelligence tune-up before Aunt Mildred brings up that thing again.Take a breath. Unfreeze a story. And dance through these holidays with just a little more grace and a whole lot less dread.
Egg freezing is IVF without the F. You go through a standard cycle of In Vitro Fertilization in which you take hormone shots that stimulate the growth of eggs. A doctor like me then extracts your eggs through a simple surgical procedure, and I work with an embryologist to preserve your eggs in liquid nitrogen until you're ready to use them. So the big question is what happens now that you're ready to use your eggs? In other words, what are the steps towards fertilization (or as I like to say, what the F?) Step 1. Locate Your Eggs Step 2: Decide if you want to unfreeze all your eggs. Step 3. Complete Your Preconception Testing (follow the TUSHY Method) Step 4: Complete Your Infectious Disease Labs Step 5: Implantation Testing Step 6: Make Embryos (and decide if you want to do genetic testing on your embryos) Step 7: Decide Whether You Want to Transfer Fresh or Frozen Embryos Click here to get the full show notes and transcript Join me for a screening of the movie THAW: Parenthood on Ice. In this episode, we explore the concept of "frozen intent". This is when you feel stuck when trying to start new habits or make changes. But here's the key: frozen intent is just a pause, not a permanent state. It's our brain's way of protecting us from disappointment. I share why this happens and share three strategies to overcome it. These quick wins release dopamine, boosting your motivation and helping you build trust in yourself. It's about taking tiny steps that lead to big changes. Start small, see the results!Every small action counts. Write down each tiny step you complete and watch how they add up over time. This approach helps you celebrate your progress and build confidence in your ability to follow through. Remember, it's about the journey, not just the destination! It can be so powerful when you learn to give yourself grace, take small steps, and seek support to break free from burnout and move forward with confidence. Listen now!

An anti-Trump resistance has formed within government agencies. A secret network of federal workers has organized to fight back against the Trump administration. The group is now working to form strategies and share information on encrypted apps. Alongside this, new U.S. intelligence shows that the Chinese regime is attempting to recruit disgruntled U.S. federal employees. In other news, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that Trump's freeze on some USAID payments will have to go through. The denial of Trump's attempts to block a lower court order could signal how other legal challenges over money heading to international programs may go.
Today the Supreme Court said the Trump administration must pay nearly $2 billion in foreign assistance for work already completed. ABC News Legal Analyst Royal Oakes joins with an analysis.
What steps should you take if you suspect your identity has been stolen? We are joined by guest Victor Russell, Operations Manager at Apprisen, to explore the pervasive issue of financial scams and how individuals can protect themselves. The discussion covers various scams, primarily targeting seniors, such as the "grandparent scam" where victims are manipulated into sending money continuously until they realize they have been deceived. Another prevalent scam involves romance, where lonely individuals are exploited into giving money, leading to severe financial repercussions like unmanageable debts.Russell underscores the importance of regularly obtaining a credit report to defend against identity theft, given the frequency of database breaches. He recommends using AnnualCreditReport.com to obtain detailed reports from the three major agencies. To add another layer of protection, Russell recommends freezing credit reports, which can prevent unauthorized loans but must be unfrozen before applying for new personal loans.Victor advises against responding to unsolicited digital communications, especially those with suspicious links, as they are often scams. Government agencies like the IRS and the Social Security Administration do not request sensitive information via email or phone. He also stresses the importance of younger individuals being cautious about their online presence, sharing an example involving his daughters and potentially compromising online content. Support this Podcast For those who fall victim to identity theft, Russell outlines a process: contact financial institutions and credit card companies notify the Social Security office file a police report. ftc.gov and the AARP Fraud Watch Line assist identity theft victimsSocial Security Administration and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau also offer support.Apprisen, the organization Russell represents, is a non-profit agency providing a range of financial services for over 70 years, including debt management, credit health education, housing counseling, and assistance with student loan management. Navigating and managing change is key to a collaborative's journey, but it's also one of the most challenging as each partner's relationship, personal history, and ability to participate in change can vary. Differences in how partners navigate change, if not recognized and explored, can make it difficult for the collaborative to achieve meaningful progress towards shared goals. How does one lead and navigate through these varying responses to change? Last week, Realtor.com published another version of its ‘‘magic number'' forecast. The number in question is the mortgage rate number low enough to ‘‘unfreeze'' the real estate market. We know that the market has been in something of a gridlock for over a year now: Home prices are very high and keep rising. Mortgage rates are high and aren't showing much of a downward trend. There aren't enough homes to go around, especially those that are remotely affordable. Something has to give. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Step 3. Complete Your Preconception Testing (follow the TUSHY Method) Step 4: Complete Your Infectious Disease Labs Step 5: Implantation Testing Step 6: Make Embryos (and decide if you want to do genetic testing on your embryos) Step 7: Decide Whether You Want to Transfer Fresh or Frozen Embryos Click here to get the full show notes and transcript Would you like to learn about Egg Freezing?Click here to join Dr. Aimee for The Egg Freezing Class.
