The Monitor sends Harbinger to gather the worlds' greatest heroes - Supergirl, The Flash, Green Arrow, Batwoman, White Canary, The Atom and Superman - in preparation for the impending Crisis. With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J'onn and Alex recruit Lena to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38. The group uses Ray's invention to track new recruits to help save the universe. The Monitor sends Iris, Clark and Lois in search of a mysterious Kryptonian, while Kate and Kara head out to find Bruce Wayne. In addition, Mia challenges Sara, Rory discovers a hidden talent, and Lex Luthor returns.

Along with the announcement is the first teaser for the series, featuring the iconic Bat symbol and our first look at the show's logo. Played by Ruby Rose, Batwoman made her Arrowverse debut during this season's yearly crossover event, titled "Elseworlds." Even though Batwoman will follow Kate Kane's exploits in Gotham City, the series will only get "as close as it possibly can" to Batman without ever physically introducing him. Legends Of Tomorrow had a big presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con where cast and producers revealed exciting new details about the third season of the time traveling superhero series. Legends Of Tomorrow Podcast/DC TV Podcasts participated in the press room for Legends of Tomorrow where Amy Marie Hypnarowski (of The Flash Podcast and Legends of Tomorrow Podcast) chatted with the cast at the round tables to get some new details on Season 3. One of the cast members who attended was the Captain of the Waverider, Caity Lotz, who plays Sara Lance a.k.a. the White Canary. Throughout the round table interview, Lotz teased several things about Sara’s arc in Season 3 and more such as: -Lotz’s on thoughts on taking on such a larger role in the second season and where we will see Captain Lance go next -Where Rip Hunter and Sara’s relationship stands when we pick up in Season 3 -What Lotz’s thoughts are on the Arrowverse as a whole after having been part of it for so many years -How she feels about Sara Lance eventually meeting Laurel Lance’s (Katie Cassidy) doppelganger this coming season -Whether or not it is going to be a lighter season for Sara after going through some dark moments in Season 2 -What was her favorite episode to film in Season 2 and what she has enjoyed about Season 3 so far Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, October 10 at 9/8c on The CW! This is the DC TV Report for the week ending Saturday April 8th, 2017 as submitted by Edward O'Hare, nickname To Be Determined. DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Season 2 Finale: Rip made contact with the team, grew the Waverider to normal size, and the Legends all headed back to World War I France. Reverse Flash followed them back, literally ripped Atom's heart from his body, and destroyed the Jesus blood. The surviving team was discovered by their past counterparts. There was a whole big showdown-faceoff-battle-royal-fight-for-all-the-paiella-thingy. Heroes died, there were dozens of Reverse Flashes, and it all came to a head when White Canary decided to use the Spear of Destiny. She had a nice talk with a spirit of her dead sister, Laurel, and decided it was best to let Laurel stay dead. When she came out of it the Spear had been depowered, a Speed wraith killed the Reverse Flash. The other LoD members were returned to their previous times and mindwiped. Oh, and Vixen decided to stay with Steel instead of going back to 1942. Last Minute Reveal: The Waverider got caught in a time storm and crash landed in Los Angeles 2017, which is now filled with weird futuristic architecture and dinosaurs!   iZombie - Season 3 Premiere: Vivian Stoll, CEO of military contractor Fillmore Graves, had her small zombie army cover up the zombie massacre at Max Rager. Back at her HQ, Vivian laid out to Liz and friends her plan for D-Day (when humans discover zombies), an island being built into a zombie haven, and a school of zombie kids. One of the kids was Clive's friend Wally. Major had to drink bad coffee and got his house vandalized because he was the chaos killer. Ravi continued his labwork, trying to compensate for the retrograde amnesia his zombie cure causes, and struggled to get over the fact that Peyton and Blaine had a thing. Blaine started piecing together the truth about his life before amnesia and asked Peyton if he and she had a thing. Scott thawed out Angus and they are planning to deliver serious payback to Blaine. The security guard from Max Rager told his story on a wacko conservative radio show. Someone brutally murdered Wally and his family, and may be targeting zombies. Last Minute Reveal: Liv saw Major training with the soldiers-for-hire. He is working for Fillmore Graves!   Powerless: Teddy was saved by Green Fury, got smitten, and ignored his real girlfriend, Hannah, trying to get rescued again. In the end he chose Hannah but blew it when he had another awkward moment with Green Fury. Van's mom remodeled his old room and shipped all his childhood toys to Wayne Security. Emily wanted her own office, and challenged Van to a Green Arrow Dart match to get it. The team tried to get Emily to throw the match. Van actually won on his own and gave Emily the office anyway. Emily told Van everyone's been letting him win all his life, and Van was crushed. Jackie told Emily what a jerk she was and Emily cheered up Van by reminding him they are both on the same team. Last Minute Reveal: Van was about to sneeze… and then he didn't. Well, he sort of did but it wasn't that bad!

It's likely been the name of a number of time travel-related stories -- but most recently, it was the name of a story that ran through The Flash #30-35 (from the 2011 series) and featured, among other villains, The Reverse-Flash. The fact that the final moments of the episode incorporate the "surprise" appearance of Eobard Thawne, then, suggests this could have been a more-than-incidental use of the name. OLIVER QUEEN - Oliver Queen, seen wearing a suit and not in his Green Arrow costume for the purposes of this season finale, is played by Stephen Amell. The star of Arrow, Oliver is generally considered the genesis point for The CW's DC Universe (even though they obviously had Smallville and Birds of Prey long before Arrow came along). Amell's Green Arrow appeared in the series premieres of both The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, so this episode more or less continues a tradition. NATE HEYWOOD - Nick Zano joins the cast as Nate Heywood -- "Citizen Steel" -- who in the comics inherits the powers and costume of his grandfather. He's a troubled individual, suffering from both physical and emotional damage, in the comics -- but as Zano told ComicBook.com at Comic Con International: San Diego, that's not the direction they're going with Heywood on TV. THE THREE MUSKETEERS - Cardinal Richelieu, depicted as one of the villains of Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, being included in this episode more or less cements the idea that they look like that on purpose -- and explains why certain characters who were strategically important in the fight -- like Jax, for instance -- had to stay out of sight. REX TYLER - Rex Tyler, the Golden Age Hourman and a veteran member of the Justice Society of America, is one of a number of DC heroes who would pass on his name and legacy numerous times over the decades to come in the comics. On TV, he made a single, brief appearance at the end of the season 1 finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and will show up again -- with the rest of the Justice Society this time -- in next week's episode as well. DAMIEN DARHK - Damien Darhk was the season four big bad on Arrow. Like Ra's al Ghul, he's a very old man who has been kept relatively young by the Lazarus Pit because of his position of power and authority first within the League of Assassins and later in H.I.V.E. Originally created as a villain in The Titans, Darhk's control of H.I.V.E. made him an ideal choice when The CW decided to introduce a magical villain last year. He was nearly unbeatable until Oliver figured out how to manipulate Darhk's energy to his own ends, and now he's dead -- except that as somebody who's been not only alive, but rich and powerful for decades, he's surprisingly easy for a time-traveling troublemaker to find and recruit. ALBERT EINSTEIN - First of all, he's appeared in DC Comics before. In an oversized issue Superman vs. Wonder Woman, Nazis went after Einstein in 1942. Ultimately, Wonder Woman rescues him but ends up finding out about the Manhattan Project. After becoming a person of interest for a while and throwing down with Superman a bit, she ends up teaming up with the Last Son of Krypton to track down and defeat Baron Blitzkrieg. Secondly, the thing with his wife is actually based in historical controversy.  Mileva Marić was a Serbian physicist and has long been rumored to have coauthored Einstein's 1905 paper on relativity. INSULTING RAY - Calling him a "boy scout" feels like a nod to Brandon Routh's time as Superman, but the whole "what are you without that suit?" reeks of Marvel's The Avengers. That's a comic book movie reference twofer! REVERSE-FLASH - Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, may have something up his sleeve. At the end of The Flash's Season 3 premiere earlier this month, he said that while his future was as it should be, Barry's might not be. Barry then went home to discover a number of small anomalies that made his life and those of his friends worse. Now, we learn that "somebody" is outfitting the villains of history with future tech in order to push the world to a slightly worse place. Could Eobard Thawne have stepped right out of "Flashpoint" and into "Out of Time?" Either way, seeing him and Darhk together is enough to make seasoned Arrowverse fans quake in their boots even before they know the other members of Thawne's little Legion of Doom. There's one big development that's revealed in the clip: Mon-El finally got a job! He's working as a bartender, which makes a lot of sense given his party-boy Daxamite background. True to form though, he's not great at fetching club soda for Kara, preferring to serve her something brown and boozy. Despite the fact that he saves the Flash's life, Barry is none too happy with his protégé, and brings him to task for doing instead of observing and learning like he was supposed to.The clip also teases the introduction of another villain from the comics, with Wally bragging about how he put Plunder into Iron Heights. That, and a bit about his day job as writer and producer of The CW’s hit show “Arrow,” which had just spun off “The Flash.” Today, this guy has got superheroes coming out of his eyes, ears and, well, everywhere else. MARC GUGGENHEIM podcast excerpt: "The simultaneous shooting schedule of the Arrow/The Flash/DC's Legends of Tomorrow crossover and two-hour pilot has been a much bigger headache than dealing with the actors' agents and managers. The scheduling is really, really hard. It was all filmed at the same time. It requires a tremendous amount of creativity on the part of the producers and the assistant directors on the various shows who handle scheduling. Not easy! And not easy on the actors who sometimes have to run from one set to the other. We're all now recovering from the scheduling mishegas. That said, we do it because the end result is so worthwhile. And the end result is awesome. As I said to the 'Arrow' crew yesterday, a quadruple axle is far more impressive than a double axel. People are going to watch these four hours of television and I think it's going to blow their minds!"
