A lover of games, movies and all things pop culture, Alan Lee delivered a standout performance as Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 1. Drawing inspiration from Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawa's 1995 movie portrayal, Alan crafted his own unique depiction that cements him as one of the franchise's all time greats. Performing on stage and in church from the age of 8 and discovering a love for voice over in his late teens, Alan's talent has appeared across a variety platforms, from commercials to animation to video games. It's been a little over two years since the arson attack on Kyoto Animation and with the triumphant return of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid this season we thought it would be fitting to dedicate another episode of the podcast to one of the greatest studios of all time. As we arrive to the summer season in fashionably late style, the full seasonal crew are here to lay out the diamonds in the rough of a very meh season that seems to be as such before fall arrives for another overwhelming feast of quality content and programming.
