Grab your guitar and join me in learning this awesome Rolling Stones Riff. This for me , is one of Keith's best and as the band have released a new album this year, let's revisit one of the classics."Honky Tonk Women" is a song by the English rock band the Rolling Stones. It was released as a non-album single on 4 July 1969 in the United Kingdom, and a week later in the United States (although a country version called "Country Honk" was later included on the album Let It Bleed). It topped the charts in both nations.[3] The song was on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list, and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Rockshow episode 157 Ike and Tina Turner RockerMike and Rob discuss Ike & Tina Turner were an American musical duo consisting of husband and wife Ike Turner and Tina Turner. From 1960 to 1976, they performed live as the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, supported by Ike Turner's band the Kings of Rhythm and backing vocalists called the Ikettes. The Ike & Tina Turner Revue was regarded as "one of the most potent live acts on the R&B circuit." The duo had a string of R&B hits with their early recordings "A Fool In Love", "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "I Idolize You", "Poor Fool", and "Tra La La La La". The release of "River Deep – Mountain High" in 1966, followed by a tour of the UK with The Rolling Stones, increased their popularity in Europe. Their later works are noted for interpretive soul-infused re-arrangements of rock songs such as "Come Together", "Honky Tonk Woman", and "Proud Mary", the latter of which won them a Grammy Award in 1972.Ike & Tina Turner received the first Golden European Record Award for their international hit "Nutbush City Limits" in 1974.They released dozens of albums; their most successful being Workin' Together and Live at Carnegie Hall. Pitchfork listed their album River Deep – Mountain High among the best of its era. Ike & Tina Turner were inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.They have two singles inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, "River Deep – Mountain High" and "Proud Mary". Rolling Stone ranked them No. 2 on its list of the 20 Greatest Duos of All Time. https://www.biography.com/.amp/news/tina-turner-ike-relationship https://www.rockhall.com/inductees/ike-and-tina-turner https://open.spotify.com/artist/1ZikppG9dPedbIgMfnfx8k https://music.apple.com/us/artist/ike-tina-turner/196435051 https://www.tina-turner.nl/tina-ike.php https://www.grammy.com/artists/ike-tina-turner/13017 https://www.history-of-rock.com/ike_and_tina_turner.htm Park Dental Care 12419 101st Ave South Richmond Hill Queens (718) 847-3800 https://www.718DENTISTS.com https://lynyrdskynyrd.com/ https://m.facebook.com/LynyrdSkynyrd https://open.spotify.com/artist/4MVyzYMgTwdP7Z49wAZHx0 https://www.rockhall.com/inductees/lynyrd-skynyrd https://www.rollingstone.com/feature/remembering-lynyrd-skynyrds-deadly-1977-plane-crash-2-195371/amp/ https://mobile.twitter.com/skynyrd?lang=en https://www.instagram.com/skynyrd/?hl=en #musicvideo #musicstudio #musiclover #musiclife #musicindustry #musiclovers #musiccover #musician #Tinaturner #Iketurner #musicproducer #musicproduction #musicians #musicislife #musicartist #musicphotography #musicvideos #Music #drummer #Guitar @drummers @spotify @twitter @Ikeandtinaturner #grammy @grammy Please follow us on Youtube,Facebook,Instagram,Twitter,Patreon and at www.gettinglumpedup.com https://linktr.ee/RobRossi Get your T-shirt at https://www.prowrestlingtees.com/gettinglumpedup And https://www.bonfire.com/store/getting-lumped-up/ https://app.hashtag.expert/?fpr=roberto-rossi80 https://dc2bfnt-peyeewd4slt50d2x1b.hop.clickbank.net Subscribe to the channel and hit the like button This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/getting-lumped-up-with-rob-rossi/id1448899708 https://open.spotify.com/show/00ZWLZaYqQlJji1QSoEz7a https://www.patreon.com/Gettinglumpedup --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/rob-rossi/support

Chicago-based vocalist/songwriter Jan James will released her 11th full length album, Justify, on March 6, 2020 via Blue Palace Records. The 12-tracks are a confident display of the heart-centered artistry that’s been the backbone of Jan’s work since the ‘90s. The album opens with an accessible, upbeat love song, “I’m Always Coming Back,” before launching into the title track and first single, “Justify” where Jan’s uniquely emotional vocal quality enmeshed with guitarist Craig Calvert’s exceptional guitar work. Jan has always used her music to support causes near and dear to her heart. On this album, the Aretha Franklin-inspired gospel ballad “Try” was written in response to the suicide crisis, which claimed the life of a former bandmate. “The amount of people hurting out there is astounding. I wanted to give them a message of love.” With a message of connection, she wrote “Good Man Down” while mortified by the current administration’s treatment of immigrants in America. After decades of including the fan favorite in live sets, Jan finally recorded her sassy but reverent version of the Rolling Stones classic, “Honky Tonk Woman.” “Though many of the elements from our debut album, Last Train, still flow through our music, our songwriting has evolved. I consider Justify to be very personal. We created a collection that should make you move, have some hope and most importantly have some fun,” said Jan.

Comienza sonando Simpathy for the devil, porque, amigos, ya están tocando The Rolling Stones. Un ejemplo: Its only rock and roll.

Let it bleed. Can't You Hear Me Knocking".

On July 14, 2015 Public Enemy will release its 15th album, Man Plans God Laughs. One record on the album is called "Honky Tonk Rules" which covers the classic song "Honky Tonk Woman' by the Rolling Stones. Chuck tells Tim why Public Enemy went the "whole 9 yards" to get clearance to use this song. “I fought for this record because initially when we wanted to clear it, we were totally rejected by our publisher, their publisher....initially we we're rejected because they had a whole other thing in mind; they thought we were going to come across to them, like maybe P-Diddy or somebody and have like 18 different publishers on there. They don't want their records touched. They we're like you take it as it is and you give us our 100 percent. “ Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.com

NEW FOR JANUARY 15, 2010 For the fourth time, Rick From New York has wrangled the controls of BRYHNH to compile the best tracks from all the episodes from 2009 into the annual Rick's Pix year in review. And for the fourth year, Rick has knocked it out of the park. But this year, not without drama. Rick From New York is getting pretty good at this, and with good comes cocky. Here's what Rick had to say this year: I sent my "Best Of . . ." to Perry early because of a premonition. I knew what he would say . . . Not only did he inauspiciously and brutally reject it, he said,"You have somehow managed to omit everything that makes the show unique; the unexpected live cuts, the oddball covers, the "Sucker Punch" (right song, right place) and all but stripped the colors from the palette that is BRYHNH." I briefly tried to make a case for my maligned masterpiece, but I soon realized that I was wasting my breath. Then, just when my spirits had sunk to the depths of despair, Perry spoke the cleansing, healing phrase, "I think you have a better show in you." Check and see . . . Well, I remember using the words "connective tissue" and asked for a re-write. A few days passed and when the re-write arrived, I realized I had been played for a sap. It was obvious. Plain as the nose on my face. Rick had set me up and first sent me a "fugazi." He did have a better show in him. It was in his back pocket the whole time! It had to be. Because no one could put a great show like this together, and have concocted his "maligned masterpiece" without purposely having his way with me. Bastard ! Like I said, with good comes cocky . . . And without further ado. I proudly present to you: Doorway To Color - Rick's Pix 2009 - The Best Radio You Have Never Heard Vol. 126 1. Hometown - Joe Jackson Buy On iTunes 2.
