In this episode of The Tim Macy Show we chat with Krys Benyamein, who is an individual who believes in the power of authenticity and genuine connection. With a no-nonsense approach, Krys dives straight into the heart of the matter, urging others to embrace the "hokey stuff" that agents often overlook. Recognizing that focusing solely on tactics may hinder success, Krys and Tim emphasize the importance of embracing the emotions and mindset that enable consistency in implementing these strategies. In a world where the mind often holds us back from taking action, Krys encourages others to lean into the so-called "hokey stuff" that allows for the application of proven tactics. By addressing the mental barriers that prevent us from achieving our goals, Tim and Krys help in recognizing the generosity and giving nature that already exists within each of us. Listeners can gain valuable advice on how to navigate the challenges and opportunities present in their professional lives. With a belief in the power of authenticity and a focus on the underlying factors that drive success, Krys Benyamein is a guiding voice for those seeking to reach their full potential.

She believes that healthy food, physical activity, and meditation can be used to treat or minimize symptoms of any illness, both physical and mental. Rachel's philosophy when it comes to eating healthy means not giving up any of your favorite foods, but rather learning how to make healthier versions of them, which is my true passion. Jessica Koslow is the chef/owner of Sqirl in Los Angeles. The chef first earned acclaim for making fruit jams, which she sold at farmer's markets in the LA Area. Koslow found a space for her jam company in the Silver Lake neighborhood in 2011, and it quickly morphed into a breakfast and lunch-only restaurant with daily lines out the door. Koslow is slated to open a take-out restaurant, Sqirl Away, later this year. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The LuchaWorld Podcast is back and we return with one of our favorite guest, L.A. lucha legend Superboy! He's back to share more stories from his career and to just talk about lucha libre. We open the show talking about Alberto Del Rio showing up at Triplemania after his WWE release. We discuss Del Rio's WWE departure and its possible negative effects for them as a business with their Latino fanbase. What goals luchadores have? The buzz Superboy's heard from the local wrestlers on AAA USA. The lack of opportunities for US-based Latin wrestlers on US-based indie promotions. Superboy reveals the "Misterioso" name situation and talks about older luchadores selling their gimmick/name. Superboy's fight with the late Abismo Negro. Superboy talks a bit about meeting Konnan early in his career as they both started at about the same time. More on the WIN tapings w/ the Guerreros, Konnan, Crazy 33 & Tim Tall Tree. Superboy talks about being at the WCW "Festival de Lucha" tapings from Waco, Texas and how he got the booking. From wrestling a few matches to refereeing several others during the tapings. Talks a bit about Blitzkrieg, the WCW luchadores, the WCW lockerroom and WCW wrestlers asking Piloto Suicida "Who the chubby guy is" at the WCW tapings and being impressed with Superboy after his match. Superboy also discusses how he got the WCW Nitro tryout match. Superboy talks about one of his early trainers Avispon Negro and talks about the steps he took in training, his first plancha to the outside, fundamentals that younger luchadores should learn, training with heavier wrestlers like the Black Panthers (two African-American brothers who loved Blue Panther, got into lucha and both were named Daryl!!!). Kurt and Superboy reminisce about L.A. wrestler The Whip/Cool Cat Clarke, Gil's Gym, booking veterans, and a few more LA stories. Superboy is currently promoting lucha shows in the LA Area under the Fusion Pro Wrestling banner and he co-host a lucha libre radio show called Los Gladiadores Radio! Fun show that went over 90 minutes! Enjoy! (8/18/14) Get all the lucha libre news at LuchaWorld.com!
