In Kscope 146 Mariusz Duda (Riverside, Lunatic Soul) and Bruce Soord (The Pineapple Thief) find themselves in contemplative, nostalgic mood due to the pandemic, looking back at their younger selves. Mariusz through his Lockdown Trilogy project, recorded in isolation, inspired by the Euro-electronica of his youth (Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Tangerine Dream) and Bruce/The Pineapple Thief's re-wired/re-worked LP Give It Back, featuring re-recorded, re-wired material with Gavin Harrison (featuring lyrical updates; bringing the stories told therein up-to-date too). Nos ponemos a discutir si hace diez años fue un buen año o todo ha envejecido FATAL. Y enfrentamos nuestros discos favoritos en duelos a muerte al atardecer. Desde Sevilla nos llega el primer álbum de Malabriega, que parece despertar intensas y variopintas pasiones a su paso. Para completar un programa bien surtido, rescatamos dos de los discos que los oyentes seleccionásteis de los bonus track veraniegos a través de vuestras votaciones: Nad Sylvan y The Mute Gods. Además, Álvaro Morales nos brinda de nuevo su habitual sección, deleitándonos en esta ocasión con uno de los clásicos de Alan Parsons. Tal y como sucedió a finales del 2013, muchas de estas novedades, debido a su gran calidad, llegan arrasando cual elefante en cacharrería, y nos obligan a rehacer nuestras listas de lo mejor del año, provocando auténticos dolores de cabeza al equipo para poder seleccionar el listado definitivo de lo que va a ser nuestra lista de mejores producciones del 2014. Prepararos para escuchar los recientes y espléndidos trabajos de Haken, Corvus Stone, Latte e Miele, Kayak, Knight Area, Millenium, Logos y Lunatic Soul. Además vuelve el mítico Sir Charles of the Fountain, jefus maximus de Radio Mirage y editor de El Chamberlin, auténtico especialista en Art Rock español, que nos hablará de los trabajos de Asfalto y Mater Dronic. Y por si todo esto no fuera suficiente, terminamos el programa con un intenso y acalorado debate sin cuartel, como no podía ser menos, sobre el reciente trabajo publicado por Pink Floyd.
