Are the Buffalo Bills actually a Super Bowl contender — or are they simply an incredible offense led by Josh Allen? The Bills are 2-0, Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level, and Buffalo just opened its new Highmark Stadium with a statement 41-31 win over the Detroit Lions. The offense has been explosive through the first two weeks, but the bigger question remains: Is this finally a different Bills team? Can Buffalo be more than just a great regular-season offense, and can Josh Allen finally lead the Bills all the way to a Super Bowl?Maggie Gray tackles that question and much more with Andrew “McLovin” Perloff on A Must Win Game.Perloff is ALL IN on the New York Giants after their Week 1 win over Dallas — but are the Giants actually for real? We break down Jaxson Dart, the Giants offense and whether New York can sustain its early success. Then there's Green Bay. The Packers have now lost six straight games dating back to last season, and Maggie believes they have EVERYTHING to lose against the New York Jets. Could another loss put real pressure on the coaching staff in Green Bay?We also dive into the massive LSU-Ole Miss storyline as Lane Kiffin returns to Ole Miss after leaving for LSU following Ole Miss' College Football Playoff run. Maggie has officially reached “Lane Kiffin fatigue” — and we debate whether college football has had enough of the constant Kiffin drama.Plus, Arch Manning is back in the No. 1 overall pick conversation. Could a huge Texas season against Ohio State change how NFL teams view Arch heading into the 2027 NFL Draft? And what is really going on with Titans quarterback Cam Ward? Is Ward struggling because the talent isn't translating, because of the coaching around him, or some combination of both? Could Cam Ward become the next highly drafted quarterback to disappoint in the NFL?It's a packed football conversation covering the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, the Super Bowl, the new Bills stadium, the Giants, Jaxson Dart, the Packers, the Jets, Lane Kiffin, LSU, Ole Miss, Arch Manning, Texas, Ohio State and Cam Ward. This is A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray — subscribe for more NFL, college football, hot takes, debates and conversations with the biggest names in sports.time codes1:00 the Buffalo Bills beat the Detroit Lions but is Buffalo's defense keeping it from being a true super bowl contender?9:30 Andrew Perloff joins the show and the matchup he's most looking forward to in week 2 of the NFL season is Giants at the Rams on Monday night football.10:54 Maggie thinks the Green Bay Packers have the most pressure on them in Week 2.13:20 Maggie has Lane Kiffin fatigue! Are the New York Giants and New York Jets actually BACK — or is this all FOOLS GOLD?Maggie Gray welcomes her former executive producer EJ Stewart to A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray to break down the biggest stories in New York sports and across the NFL.For the first time since 2009, both the Giants and Jets opened the NFL season with wins. But can either team actually be GOOD?The Giants may have something different this time. Jaxson Dart looked confident in his first NFL start, throwing three touchdown passes and adding 54 rushing yards in the Giants' Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Malik Nabers, Isaiah Likely and Cam Skattebo helped give the Giants offense an identity. Is Dart already becoming the leader this franchise has been searching for? Or is this simply another case of getting excited too early about the Giants?Maggie and EJ also break down the New York Jets and debate whether Aaron Glenn's team can sustain its hot start. Then it's time for Jalen Brunson. The Knicks superstar continues to dominate the New York sports conversation, getting shoutouts from tennis star Ben Shelton and singer Harry Styles within 48 hours — and he's also preparing to host Saturday Night Live. Is Jalen Brunson the No. 1 athlete in America right now? Is he the biggest athlete in New York? And what happens if Aaron Judge wins a World Series with the Yankees? The Pete Alonso conversation gets emotional — and complicated.Alonso returned to Citi Field with the Baltimore Orioles and received huge ovations from Mets fans throughout the night. But are Mets fans giving Pete Alonso TOO MUCH LOVE after he left New York? Should fans be celebrating his return, or is the reaction another reminder that the Mets made the wrong decision letting their longtime slugger leave?Maggie and EJ also break down Patrick Mahomes' return against the Denver Broncos. Mahomes looked rusty in his first game back, completing 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. But Bo Nix looked even worse as Denver was crushed 31-10. The Los Angeles Rams are STOCK DOWN after getting crushed by the San Francisco 49ers in Australia — and Maggie Gray thinks their travel strategy deserves serious scrutiny. The Rams arrived in Melbourne just over 24 hours before kickoff, while the 49ers arrived nearly a week early. San Francisco won 27-7, and the Rams appeared to fade badly as the game went on.Could the Rams' decision to fly to Australia so late come back to haunt them in a crowded NFC West? If Los Angeles is battling San Francisco, Seattle and Arizona for the division — and potentially home-field advantage in the NFC — every game matters.Maggie also gives STOCK DOWN to New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye after an ugly fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Maye threw THREE interceptions in the fourth quarter as New England blew a 10-0 lead and lost 13-10. The bigger question: was Maye's MVP-caliber 2025 season helped by a favorable schedule, and does he become a different quarterback when he faces elite defenses? Then there's Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham. After Michigan barely survived Western Michigan, Whittingham said Bryce Underwood's starting quarterback job was "not infinite." The problem? Underwood appeared genuinely surprised when reporters asked him about those comments. With No. 10 Oklahoma coming to Ann Arbor, Maggie says Whittingham has to understand that Michigan comes with a completely different level of media scrutiny than Utah.Maggie also gives STOCK DOWN to the Los Angeles Dodgers for waiting so long to put Shohei Ohtani on the injured list. Ohtani is dealing with left knee and right biceps issues and is eligible to return September 23 — meaning he could have just FIVE regular-season games to get his timing back before the playoffs. And in the matchup breakdown, Maggie looks ahead to Vikings vs. Packers. Can Jordan Love carry Green Bay against a Minnesota defense that was one of the NFL's best last season — especially without Josh Jacobs? Can Kyler Murray take advantage of Green Bay's defensive injuries and get Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison the football?Plus: Maggie's biggest STOCK UP and STOCK DOWN calls of the week.Subscribe to A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray for NFL, college football, MLB, NBA, sports analysis, predictions and opinions from a sports fan's perspective.#NFL #Packers #Vikings #Rams #DrakeMaye #MichiganFootball #Dodgers #ShoheiOhtani #CollegeFootball #AMustWinGame Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The SEC is threatening to remove LSU from the conference after LSU challenged the league's new rule preventing players with previous NFL roster experience from returning to college football.Maggie argues that the entire situation is a massive overreaction, especially because the controversy stems from changes to NCAA eligibility rules that created this unusual situation in the first place. The SEC has now moved toward a vote on whether LSU should be expelled from the conference. Then: STOCK DOWN on Aaron Rodgers. The New York Jets interviewed 16 candidates for head coach and 15 candidates for general manager during their 2025 search — and according to Maggie, all 31 ultimately said they would pass on Aaron Rodgers.Thirty-one people.Maggie also has a bigger problem with Jets owner Woody Johnson. Could nearly one-third of the NFL have an incentive to tank for a quarterback? On the latest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie looks at the surprising number of NFL teams that could potentially lose interest in winning in 2026 if their season starts going sideways — because the 2027 NFL Draft could feature an extraordinary group of quarterbacks. With names like Arch Manning, Dante Moore and other highly regarded prospects potentially available, quarterback-needy teams could have a huge incentive to think about the future rather than fight for a few extra wins. Maggie's count? Nearly one-third of the NFL could potentially be looking toward the 2027 quarterback class. So which teams could be sellers at the trade deadline? Which teams might decide there's more value in losing than winning? And could the NFL actually see an NBA-style tanking conversation develop around the next franchise quarterback? Maggie breaks down why the 2027 QB class could completely change the incentives for struggling NFL teams. Also on the episode: time stamps 00:45 Joe Burrow's surprising admission about once believing he wouldn't have a long NFL career — and whether Bengals fans should be concerned. 7:48 Steve Sarkisian's criticism of NFL players attempting to return to college football for another year of eligibility — despite a Texas player being involved in a similar legal fight. 13:31 Tarik Skubal's espresso machine drama after taking the machine he bought for the Tigers clubhouse with him to Los Angeles. 17:32 How many NFL teams will be tanking for a QB? 26:40 Why Maggie doesn't see the Yankees making a World Series run, with questions surrounding Aaron Judge, the pitching staff and shortstop. Can NFL players really go back to college football? More than 100 athletes are suing for a fifth year of college eligibility, arguing they are entitled to another season — and some of these athletes have already played professional football. Some have been on NFL rosters, participated in NFL training camps and even played in NFL preseason games. On the latest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie is joined by Matt Moscona, who covers LSU for After Further Review and Locked on LSU and is the publisher of LouisianaSports.net, to unpack one of the strangest eligibility battles in college football. What role does Lane Kiffin play in the story? Is this simply a one-time legal fight involving a group of athletes? Or could state court decisions create a precedent that opens the door for athletes to move between professional football and college football? If athletes can play in the NFL and then return to college, the implications for college football could be enormous. What will happen during the 2026 NFL season? Maggie Gray has some bold predictions.   On A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie breaks down four of her biggest predictions for the upcoming NFL season.   Miami Dolphins   Maggie predicts the Miami Dolphins will be historically bad. Why does she believe Miami is headed for such a disastrous season?   Tennessee Titans   Former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh is now leading the Titans, with former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll serving as offensive coordinator. Maggie questions whether this coaching combination can work in Tennessee.   Detroit Lions   After missing the playoffs last season, Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions are facing increased pressure. Maggie believes Lions fans have every right to demand another Super Bowl-caliber team — especially after some of Campbell's controversial playoff decisions in previous seasons.   Buffalo Bills   Maggie's boldest prediction may be about her own team. She believes the Buffalo Bills will go UNDER their win total and won't earn home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs.   Buffalo has a new head coach in Joe Brady, who has never previously served as an NFL head coach, and a new defensive coordinator in Jim Leonard, who is implementing a different defensive scheme. Add in an extremely difficult schedule, and Maggie believes the Bills face a much tougher 2026 season than many people expect.   These are Maggie's biggest NFL predictions for 2026 with time stamps   1:01 Are the Dolphins really headed for a historically bad season? 5:15 Can Saleh and Daboll work together in Tennessee? 12:20 Is Dan Campbell under enough pressure in Detroit? 17:08 Will the Bills really go under their win total?   Watch, comment and let Maggie know which prediction you think she got right — or completely wrong.   #NFL2026 #2026NFL #NFLPredictions #NFLSeason #NFLNews #MiamiDolphins #BuffaloBills #DetroitLions #TennesseeTitans #RobertSaleh #BrianDaboll #DanCampbell #JoeBrady #JimLeonard #NFLFootball Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. On this episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie takes on the latest NFL storylines, makes a bold Minnesota Vikings playoff prediction, and welcomes St. Louis Cardinals host and reporter Dani Wexelman for an inside look at Major League Baseball. First, Maggie breaks down the dysfunction surrounding the Las Vegas Raiders after veteran stars Maxx Crosby and Kirk Cousins got into a training camp scuffle that resulted in both players being suspended. These are established NFL veterans who know better—but what does this kind of chaos say about the Raiders organization? More importantly, how could a dysfunctional Raiders franchise affect the development of future quarterback Fernando Mendoza? Maggie explains why she's genuinely concerned about Mendoza's future in Las Vegas and questions whether Tom Brady's involvement with the Raiders has produced the kind of organizational transformation many expected. Then Maggie makes a bold NFL prediction: she's buying the Minnesota Vikings as a playoff team. After Kyler Murray won the Vikings' starting quarterback job over J.J. McCarthy, Maggie argues that the quarterback competition may have been one of the easiest of Murray's career. But could Minnesota be the perfect environment for Murray to resurrect his NFL career? The Vikings face a brutal NFC North that includes the Lions, Packers and Bears—but Maggie is going out on a limb and predicting Minnesota will somehow make the playoffs. Then, Dani Wexelman, host and reporter for the St. Louis Cardinals, joins Maggie for a wide-ranging conversation about baseball and life inside an MLB clubhouse. Dani discusses: Why the St. Louis Cardinals may be ahead of schedule The Cardinals' future and direction Her thoughts on the Los Angeles Dodgers The New York Yankees and their expectations What it's like being a woman working inside the clubhouse of professional athletes Her experience covering Major League Baseball The changing landscape of sports media and baseball coverage TOPICS COVERED

We also discuss whether the New York Knicks are a realistic possibility and examine the central question surrounding his decision: Is this about winning another championship, protecting his legacy, or creating opportunities beyond basketball?   Next, we turn to the Los Angeles Lakers, where Luka Dončić has become the franchise centerpiece. After investing heavily in Walker Kessler and committing major money to Austin Reaves, are the Lakers legitimate championship contenders, or do they still have critical holes to fill? Marc explains what Los Angeles still needs if it hopes to compete for another NBA title. We also dive into one of the offseason's most shocking moves: Jaylen Brown's trade from the Boston Celtics to the Philadelphia 76ers. Why did Boston make the deal when it did? Hour 1 Boomer and Phil Simms hosted, discussing Justin Fields' toe injury (out for preseason but good for the season start). Phil praised Tyrod Taylor as a backup. C-Lo updated on Fields and Malik Nabers' toe injury. They also covered the Giants' QB situation with Russell Wilson and Jaxson Dart, Dak Prescott's Super Bowl aspirations, and their excitement for Michael Penix and the Falcons. Phil believes Kirk Cousins won't be traded due to the need for a good backup. The Mets and Yankees were off. The hour concluded with Phil's podcast with his son Matt and listener calls about meeting Phil. Hour 2 Phil Simms reports on Giants camp, emphasizing the defensive line's need for dominance and the team's lack of speed. Brian Daboll is under pressure. C-Lo returns, and Simms reveals he's left-handed except for throwing. Aaron Glenn praised Tyrod Taylor. Boomer recalled hating players who stepped on his toes, referencing Justin Fields and Malik Nabers' toe issues. Maggie Gray questions BBLs for athletes. The hour ends with a caller's query about sumo wrestlers on the offensive line. Hour 3 Boomer & Phil Simms discuss QB dedication and the Giants' interest in Jaxson Dart. Phil believes Arch Manning and Nick Saban to the Browns rumors make sense. C-Lo shares Aaron Glenn on social media after Justin Fields' injury. Brian Daboll downplays Dart's pick-6 as practice and discusses the offensive line "ad nauseam." Brandon Tierney rants about the Yankees. Boomer recounts Phil's Vegas incidents: walking into a glass door and losing/finding a tooth. Hour 4 Phil Simms assessed NFL coaches and QBs, including McDaniel/Tagovailoa and Tomlin/Rodgers. C-Lo updated on Justin Fields. We compared Parcells and McDaniel audio. Scottie Scheffler confirmed a tee-off fart on 'Pardon My Take'. A caller likened the Pirates to a cheating wife. Hour 1 The Knicks are down 3-1, leading Gio to declare the series over, though Boomer holds out until the Pacers win their fourth. Boomer noted the Knicks' best defensive players "got torched," highlighting the team's inconsistency. The Knicks face elimination at home, a place they haven't played well. In other sports, the Yankees beat the Angels, and the Mets defeated the White Sox. Oddly, Brandon Nimmo made a baserunning blunder. Off the field, Terry Bradshaw weighed in on Aaron Rodgers, and Tyreek Hill had a blunt take on Travis Hunter. The hour ended with Knicks fans calling in, one suggesting Thibs be fired. Hour 2 Larry Johnson showed no nostalgia for his famous 4-point ball when asked. The conversation shifted back to the Knicks' lack of identity and inconsistent play. Jerry's update included sound bites from Thibs and players, along with highlights from the Mets' win (Alonso homer) and the Yankees' victory (Rice homer, Rodon's strong outing). Boomer seems to believe the AL East race is "over." Terry Bradshaw reiterated his stance against Aaron Rodgers joining the Steelers for one year. The segment concluded with a humorous anecdote about Maggie Gray mistaking an impersonator for Sammy Hagar, and a caller suggesting the Knicks bring back Charles Oakley to change their "mojo." Hour 3 The Knicks' 3-1 series deficit sparked debate, with Gio suggesting the NBA "fix" games and callers decrying biased officiating, despite Tyrese Haliburton's stellar performance. Some fans, however, see the loss as part of the Knicks' natural progression. Jerry predicted a Knicks win in the next game, while the Pacers coach discussed the playoff back-and-forth. In baseball, the Mets defeated the White Sox, marked by a confusing baserunning play from Brandon Nimmo, and the Yankees held off the Angels despite a shaky ninth inning from Devin Williams. The hour concluded with a discussion about dog dancing. Hour 4 Frustrated Knicks fans called in after the team's loss in Indiana, with one expressing dislike for Karl-Anthony Towns and another questioning why the series is being discussed as if it's over. Jerry's update included Pat McAfee yelling at celebrities and Brandon Tierney's social media comment that the Pacers are simply "better." In baseball, the Yankees beat the Angels with homers from Rice and Peraza, while the Mets scored four in the first against the White Sox. Ohtani already has 20 home runs. Terry Bradshaw called the idea of Aaron Rodgers joining the Steelers "a joke," suggesting he "chew on bark" in California. Tyreek Hill bluntly dismissed Travis Hunter as "gonna be ass." The "Moment of The Day" featured Boomer not paying attention during an update. The hour concluded with the sentiment that Tyrese Haliburton's dominant performance sealed the Knicks' fate, noting the only playoff game where the Knicks felt in control was Game 6 against Boston.
