(STINGER: NJPW) Will Ospreay is among the latest to test positive for COVID. New Japan pulled Ospreay from Sunday's Wrestling Dontaku show. Ospreay was scheduled to battle Hiroshi Tanahashi for the vacant IWGP United States Championship. Tomohiro Ishii will now step into the title match. Tatsumi Fujinami is also off the Dontaku card after testing positive for COVID. In Pro-Wrestling NOAH, Kazuyuki Fujita has vacated the GHC Heavyweight Championship after he tested positive for COVID. Go Shiozaki will wrestle for the vacant title on NOAH's show on Saturday. His opponent has not been announced, but Kaito Kiyomiya challenged Shiozaki at a news conference on Wednesday. (STINGER: AEW) The main event is officially set for Double or Nothing. Hangman Page will defend the AEW Championship against CM Punk. The match was announced on last night's Dynamite. She was not expected to recover in time for the Rumble, but she is in! Sonya Deville will be in the women's Rumble. She entered herself into the match during last night's SmackDown. Deville is looking for revenge against Naomi, who finally got her one-on-one match against Deville last night and pinned her with a split-legged moonsault. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs are now in the men's Rumble.. Nakamura & Boogs beat Jinder Mahal & Shanky on last night's SmackDown. So, as of Friday night…we have 25 men announced…and 23 women announced for the Rumble matches. Hardy retweeted a tweet by his wife Beth Thursday, that read “Jeff is good. We are good.” Jeff Hardy was being promoted for a tag team match on tonight's SmackDown. Johnson pinned Martin to get the win. After the match, Cody took a browbeating in the ring from Arn Anderson. Arn & Lee left the ring without Cody. Dark Order got back on the same page - at least for one night - as they teamed with Orange Cassidy to beat the entire Hardy Family Office in a 16-Man Tag Team Match. At one point, it appeared Evil Uno would walk out on the match...but Amanda Huber - the widow of the late Brodie Lee - was watching from the stage. O'Reilly is choosing a straight-up match for the first fall. Cole picked a Street Fight for the second fall. The third fall - if needed - will be inside a steel cage. Cameron Grimes will get another shot at LA Knight's Million Dollar Championship...and the end of his time working as Knight's butler.. MVP found his way inside the cell after the referee was knocked out. McIntyre battered MVP inside the cell. But later, it was MVP who made a timely grab of McIntyre's ankle and Lashley rolled up McIntyre for the pin. Also last night, Charlotte Flair beat Rhea Ripley...via disqualification. So, Ripley is still the Raw Women's Champion. Bianca Belair pinned Bayley with a KOD onto a ladder...INSIDE Hell In A Cell...to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship. The match between Alexa Bliss and Shayna Baszler included Alexa apparently hypnotizing Shayna and Nia Jax, who was at ringside. The apparent mind control over Nia caused her to strike down Reginald. Anyway, Bliss ended up pinning Shayna with the Twisted Bliss. Sami Zayn pinned Kevin Owens with the Helluva Kick. The dominant, top title holder in All Japan - SUWAMA - vacated the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship over the weekend...after he tested positive for COVID. SUWAMA was set to defend the gold against the Champion Carnival winner Jake Lee in less than a week. Both Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi stated Sunday they want to challenge for the title. But There's no official word from All Japan on what it plans to do about this. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan has announced its first show in front of live fans in the U.S. since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Resurgence will go down on Saturday, August 14th at The Torch - a 5,000 seat outdoor venue at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Among the names scheduled to appear - Jay White, Jon Moxley, the Good Brothers, FILTHY Tom Lawlor and Shota Umino. We also touch on the creation of ‘Saheli Women', the social enterprise program formed in 2015 by Madhu to create employment opportunities and financial and social independence for the women of Bhikamkor, the rural village, adopted by IPHD in 2015, which is currently an incredible ethical clothing enterprise. I was introduced to Madhu through my beautiful friend Claire Hart, who just spent some time in the community developing her ethical clothing label Arezü.
