(STINGER: WWE) Two big surprise returns on last night's RAW. Asuka was back…to briefly confront Becky Lynch. And Mustafa Ali - who had asked for his release from WWE - returned to RAW. He got a rollup win over The Miz. After the match, Ali was attacked by Ciampa. Just Ciampa. He's the latest performer to lose his first name in WWE. Bianca Belair is still the RAW Women's Champion. She pinned Sonya Deville with the KOD after Deville restarted the match twice..and called in some backup in the form of Queen Zelina and Carmella. Bobby Lashley and Omos are set for a WrestleMania rematch at WrestleMania Backlash. Lashley won an arm-wrestling contest against Omos last night but got beat up afterward. Damian Priest beat Finn Balor. By the way, Priest and Edge's new faction is now known as Judgement Day. RKBro, Cody Rhodes & Ezekiel won an 8-man tag team main event over The Usos, Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens. Randy Orton finished the match with a flurry of RKO's for all four of his opponents before pinning Jey Uso. Also last night, Tamina & Akira Tozawa defeated 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke & Reggie…and Veer Mahaan beat a local competitor, Sam Smothers. Tonight's NXT has the 2.0 debut of NXT UK's Nathan Frazer. WWE has an unspecified “premium live event” on its schedule for Sunday, September 4th. So, it would appear that is being moved up a day - making it the first WWE event in the UK of this size and scope since SummerSlam in 1992. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will meet again…at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8th. Rhodes beat The Miz on last night's RAW. Sonya Deville will be Bianca Belair's next challenger for the RAW Women's Title. Deville lured Belair into signing an open contract last night…and then attacked her. They dethroned Carmella & Queen Zelina in a 4-way title match last night. RK-Bro is still the RAW Tag Team Champions. Randy Orton hit an RKO and pinned Chad Gable to win a 3-way over the Alpha Academy and the Street Profits. Bobby Lashley handed Omos his first loss on WWE's main roster. Lashley pinned him with a Spear. Edge beat AJ Styles. He caught Styles in mid-Phenomenal Forearm with a Spear. Styles was distracted by Damian Priest appearing at ringside. Edge and Priest left together. Styles cut his right cheek during his entrance…when he apparently bumped his head on part of the entrance stage. Pat McAfee beat Austin Theory. Rhodes' representatives later announced he has signed a multi-year contract with WWE. Bianca Belair is the new RAW Women's Champion. She got her revenge on Becky Lynch and handed Lynch her first title match loss in nearly two years. Charlotte Flair is still the SmackDown Women's Champion. She handed Ronda Rousey her first singles loss in WWE. The show opened with The Usos beating Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs to retain the SmackDown Tag Titles. But the big story was Boogs suffering a major leg injury during the match. Michael Cole later announced Boogs suffered a torn quadricep patella. He'll need surgery. The Miz & Logan Paul beat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Miz turned on Paul! Also last night, Drew McIntyre beat Happy Corbin. WWE confirmed that WrestleMania 39 next year will be two nights - on April 1st and 2nd. NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday… Dolph Ziggler is still the NXT Champion. He beat Bron Breakker in the main event. Mandy Rose held on to the NXT Women's Title. She pinned Io Shirai to win a 4-way that also included Cora Jade and Kay Lee Ray. Cameron Grimes is the new North American Champion. He won the title from Carmelo Hayes in a ladder match that also had Solo Sikoa, Grayson Waller, and Santos Escobar. MSK are the new NXT Tag Champs. They dethroned Imperium in a 3-way that also included the Creed Brothers. Tony D'Angelo beat Tommaso Ciampa. This was presented as Ciampa's NXT farewell and Triple H greeted him on stage after the match. Also, Gunther beat LA Knight. More indies are running shows in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex on Sunday. Some are even running DURING WrestleMania Sunday. WWE said Austin will respond to Owens on Monday. Owens was left looking for a path to WrestleMania after he and Seth Rollins came up short in their challenge for the RAW Tag Titles. People across the world of pro wrestling are mourning the death of Jimmy Rave. He was a steady presence on the U.S. independent scene for nearly two decades…and had memorable runs in Ring Of Honor and TNA. Rave struggled with drug addiction. His health took a dramatic downturn just over a year ago when an infection led to the amputation of his left arm…and in October, BOTH of his legs. He leaves behind two children. Jimmy Rave was 39. (STINGER: WWE) The WWE Championship match at the Day 1 pay-per-view is now a 4-Way: Big E defending against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens…and Bobby Lashley. Lashley earned his way into the match by beating all three of his Day 1 opponents in separate matches on last night's Raw. There were plenty of shady circumstances involving all three wins, but hey…he got them. Another match added to Day 1. Liv Morgan will get another shot at Becky Lynch and the Raw Women's Championship. Lynch attacked Morgan last night, crushing her arm between the ring steps and ring post. Also last night…Otis pinned one-half of the Raw Tag Champs Riddle. (STINGER: WWE) An ugly - and potentially dangerous - incident during last night's RAW. A fan crossed the barricade and tackled Seth Rollins to the ground during last night's RAW at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Two WWE referees immediately tried to pull the fan off Rollins, but it was at least 10 seconds before security finally intervened and allowed Rollins to get back to his feet. WWE released a statement, saying the fan was “turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." The attack happened around 9PM Eastern, after Rollins had just beaten up Finn Balor during an in-ring segment. Turning to more trivial matters from last night's RAW. It turns out Austin Theory stole Cleopatra's Egg during Survivor Series. Despite threats of more serious consequences, Vince McMahon rewarded Theory with a title match against WWE Champion Big E. Big E pinned Theory with the Big Ending to get the win. Two titles changed hands last night. First, Carmella & Queen Zelina are the NEW WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. They beat Rhea Ripley & Nikki A.S.H. Zelina pinned Nikki. The 24/7 Title changed hands TWICE last night. First, Cedric Alexander beat Reggie in a straight-up match. And then, in the aftermath of the match, Dana Brooke pinned Alexander to take the title...and escaped the building without further incident. Damian Priest beat SmackDown's Sami Zayn to retain the United States Title. Bobby Lashley beat BOTH Rey & Dominik Mysterio in a 2-on-1 match. Dominik submitted to the Hurt Lock. One-half of the RAW Tag Champs Riddle pinned Dolph Ziggler with an RKO. Bianca Belair pinned Tamina with the KOD...and AJ Styles & Omos beat the Street Profits via disqualification after Angelo Dawkins sprayed a fire extinguisher at both Styles & Omos. Tonight's NXT has a North American Title match. Carmelo Hayes defends in a 3-Way against Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne. Plus, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa vs. Grayson Waller… NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose vs. Cora Jade... and Indi Hartwell & Persia Perrotta vs. Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter. Kenny Omega is officially title-less...for the first time in over two years. AAA stripped him of its Mega Championship after Omega confirmed he'll undergo surgery. Omega was scheduled to defend the title against Hijo Del Vikingo on December 4th. A new match for the vacant title has yet to be announced. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark has The Acclaimed vs. Lee Johnson & Brock Anderson...and Lee Moriarty vs. Nick Comoroto. On last night's Dark: Elevation... Kris Statlander, Ryo Mizunami & LEGIT Leyla Hirsch beat Emi Sakura, Penelope Ford & The Bunny. Statlander pinned The Bunny with the Big Bang Theory. Also, Wheeler Yuta pinned Serpentico with a rollup. (STINGER: ROH) There is a new Ring Of Honor World Television Champion. Dalton Castle dethroned Dragon Lee. Castle pinned him with the Bangarang...after a little help from Dak Draper and Shane Taylor Promotions. Mandy Leon pinned Allysin Kay to win a 3-Way that also included Trish Adora. As a result, Leon will face Willow Nightingale at a later date...and that winner will challenge ROH Women's Champion Rok-C at Final Battle. Also on the show, Brian Johnson beat John Walters in a Pure Rules Match. Tonight's NWA Powerrr has Chris Adonis vs. The Pope...World Champion Trevor Murdoch & Crimson vs. Jeremiah Plunkett & Jax Dane...and Taryn Terrell vs. Kenzie Paige in a Social Distancing Match. Major League Wrestling announced it's instituting an “open door policy” which will bring more free agents into the company. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan's World Tag League tournament resumes Tuesday.
