The Mets are officially back to being consistent again… unfortunately it's the bad kind of consistency. After winning 5 of 6 and giving fans a tiny little taste of hope, the Mets responded by immediately losing 5 of 6, including getting swept in Miami by the Marlins — which should honestly qualify as emotional terrorism at this point — and then dropping 2 of 3 at HOME to the Reds because apparently Citi Field is now a charity organization for mediocre baseball teams. So this week, Farace, Rodriguez, and Producer Joe try to figure out whether this team actually has another turnaround in them… or if Mets fans are just being dragged through another 162-game trust exercise. This weekend also brings one of the weirdest and most Mets celebrations imaginable: Bobby Valentine Day. Yes, fans will receive disguises in honor of Bobby V's legendary fake mustache dugout return, proving once again that no franchise in sports celebrates chaos quite like the Mets. On top of that, the Mets Hall of Fame ceremony honors Carlos Beltran, Lee Mazzilli, and Bobby Valentine himself on Saturday at Citi Field. We'll also dive into Jose Reyes naming his Top 5 Mets nemesis list and give our own. Braves? Phillies? Chipper Jones? The entire state of Florida? We're opening old wounds tonight.Meanwhile, Juan Soto has basically become the entire offense by himself, smashing 8 home runs over his last 12 games while the rest of the lineup occasionally shows up like substitute teachers. If Soto cools off for even 48 hours, somebody may need to legally classify this offense as missing persons. On the pitching side, McLean has hit a rough patch, and the Mets continue struggling with consistency from both the rotation and bullpen. Yet somehow… despite all the frustration, this team currently has the SAME record as the 2024 Mets team that finished with 89 wins. So now the question becomes: does this roster actually have another run in them or are we all just coping? We'll also get into early trade deadline chatter after Jon Heyman said he wouldn't be shocked if the Mets eventually consider moving Francisco Lindor. Mets Twitter handled that news very calmly and rationally of course. Definitely no overreactions there.Plus:* Opening Day Mets baseball card set opening* Grading the Opening Day roster* Producer Joe preparing emotionally for ANOTHER west coast trip because apparently MLB thinks the Mets live in California now* And the show's long-standing goal remains the same: get this team back to .500 by the All-Star break… even if fans have every right to still be furious watching this team lose to bad baseball clubs.Next up: 3 against the Marlins at Citi Field before heading to Seattle and San Diego for what feels like the 800th west coast trip of the season.Baseball. Chaos. Sarcasm. Soundboard abuse. Mets pain.Just another episode of The Put it in the Books Show.LGM.#PiitB #Mets

Joining hosts Philionaire, Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony of Louis York, and Tamone Bacon, Kym pulls back the curtain on a Cleveland-to-Hollywood journey built on fearless hustle, hard-won mentorship, and a refusal to ever let the business turn her cold. The conversation winds through her earliest brushes with stardom, starting with the 1994 Pringles commercial that she famously lip-synced, the trailblazing Oh Drama! talk show that quietly set the template for every female-led panel that followed, and an iconic Parkers run alongside Mo'Nique that lit a fire under her own work ethic. Kym opens up about the wild-child energy that powered her onto a Soul Train taping on Gerald Levert's dime, into the 227 studio audience without a ticket, and into a fateful encounter with Marla Gibbs that turned a green Cleveland girl into a working actress overnight. The story of Marla pulling her into a closet on set to protect her during her power struggle with Jackie Harry is one for the books, and Kym tells every drop of it.From there, it's pure tea. Kym revisits the Next Friday slap from DC Curry that left her bruised and bleeding because no one told her she could speak up, the dominatrix scene she didn't realize was being filmed in full, the Curb Your Enthusiasm improv prep sessions with Katt Williams, Buddy Lewis, and Dave Kirchner, and the lifelong sisterhood with Sherri Shepherd that powers their NAACP Image Award winning podcast Two Funny Mamas. She shouts out the upcoming Two Funny Mamas live show at Detroit's Soundboard on Mother's Day weekend, drops gems on the late great Gerald Levert, and reflects on why the older she gets, the more profoundly grateful she is for the mentors who didn't have to put her on but did.Kym also sits in for a lively celebrity Kim showdown (pitting Lil Kim, Kim Kardashian, Kim Burrell, and Kim Fields head-to-head), helps the crew crown the legendary Marla Gibbs with this week's Esther Rolle Award of Black Excellence (The ERBE), and leaves us with what might be the unofficial Kym Whitley life motto: "You don't learn unless you ask." On this episode of Exclusively Van Halen on Johnny Beane TV, we're diving into a brand new, just-released, uncirculated soundboard recording capturing US Festival rehearsals — and this is HUGE. This is the rehearsal performance before Van Halen took the stage on May 29, 1983… recorded on May 21 in front of a small private audience at A&M Studios on the A&M Soundstage.
A look back at 2014 during the Roz & Mocha Retro Podcast brings a collection of unforgettable moments — from the debut of a ridiculous fart soundboard that had listeners calling in with gratitude, to a caller reviving the bizarre headline claiming you could get head lice from taking selfies, and the time someone phoned to remind us that a certain tattoo once ended up featured in an actual art gallery.

Chapter 15 of The Discovery, part 20 of Animorphs Aloud, a fan-produced read-aloud version of the Animorphs series. Tiger sound effect is from Soundboard. I'm back! My family and I made it threw the storm safe. Though unfortunately, our elderly dog passed away a couple of hours before the snow started from ongoing health issues. :( RIP Ninja. Thanks for listening!
Fred kicks things off with a Temu soundboard and the crew immediately spirals into tech chaos and show updates. Then it's Fred's Freaky Facts—a rapid-fire run of bizarre trivia you didn't ask for but absolutely needed. From there, they detour into food talk (including Donkey's Place and a stolen bar “bone” saga), before jumping into Dinner Slang, where “burning the British” becomes a whole meal. Idiot News caps the madness with a Louisiana “mermaid” pond incident that ends exactly how you think it will, followed by a debate on modern R&B's “romance vs. raunch,” and a painfully relatable bit about chair-breaking anxiety—plus a tease of New Year's resolutions and joke-telling to close it out. #blcpodcast #podcastingforthepeople #funny #podcast #greenvillesc #scpodcast #yeahthatgreenville Listen at: https://americasfavoritepodcast.com Tweet the Show: https://twitter.com/blcworld Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/blcpodcast/ Check us out on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/blcpodcast/ Buy Fred and Allan Beer: https://www.patreon.com/blcworld

In this episode, hosts Sean and Lexi passionately discuss three Stephen King adaptations: 'The Night Flyer,' 'Graveyard Shift,' and 'The Dark Half.' They delve into the plot intricacies, notable performances, particularly by Miguel Ferrer, Brad Dourif, and Timothy Hutton, and the unique elements that distinguish these films. The episode also features humorous tangents, reflections on the actors' methods, and the bizarre elements that make King's stories unforgettable.
