Hot damn, we have a lot of amazing shows to talk about this week, with Coral, Adam, Russ and Nathan. We just right into our favorite with our Stranger Things Season 4 Recap and how we are all waiting on bated breath for the last 2 episodes to drop in July. Lucky for us, there are so many crazy good shows to watch like, the return of The Orville. Personally I like the new look of the show and we find it weird having to compare it to good Star Trek, but we eventually get to Orville Episode 1 “Electric Sheep” & Episode 2 “Shadow Realms.” This week we also talk about Star Trek Strange New Worlds Episode 5 “Spock Amoke” & Episode 6 “Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach” and if that wasn't enough sci-fi, we get to dissect Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 & 4 and figure out why some of us love it when some are losing patience with the show. Those of us who watched Ms. Marvel, generally agree, this show is fun. Check out Ms. Marvel episode 1, “Generation Why” on Disney Plus. A rarity for our podcast, we are finally getting into Amazon's crazy anti superhero show, “The Boys” season 3 Episode 1-3. I felt bad because I was unable to get through Episode 4 and Russ and Adam were frustrated trying their best now to spoil that episode. Phew, that was a lot of shows. I hope you are all watching these fun shows with us! –Nathan Email

We are back with the saddest episode ever, taking a trip back to the '90's to party with some former teen idols, before returning to 2021 to get our hearts ripped out and gut-punched with emotion. Yes, it's Season 3 Episode 7 of Nancy Drew, "The Gambit Of The Tangled Souls," where Ryan and Carson travel back to their teenage glory days, and we have an absolute blast watching them do it. We're also left sobbing on the floor as Bess says goodbye to Odette -- but not before almost leaving George to die -- and Nick disappears into the night. This podcast was as much fun to record as the episode was to watch. In the 1990s Billy again immersed himself in script and comedy. Working between London, Belfast and Dublin, Billy also kick started an Irish comedy circuit, won a European Script Award, The National Entertainment Award for Comedy, was the first course designer and trainer with Irish Screen Training (Writing Comedy for TV) plus gained project development and management experience with major production companies and broadcasters in Ireland and the UK. Returning from London in 1998, Billy wrote and produced the history of Irish TV comedy – Gay Byrne’s Make ‘Em Laugh – for Tyrone Productions/RTE (top 10 viewed programme of the year), joined Ireland’s first commercial broadcaster TV3 as Executive Producer and soon after was appointed RTE’s first Commissioning Editor of Entertainment (2000-02) before re-joining the commercial world. Billy’s first independent commission Close Encounters with Keith Barry (a talent spotted while at RTE) was nominated for both an IFTA and Rose D’Or Award plus remains RTE International’s biggest ever success in the international TV Entertainment sales market. In late 2005 SIDELINE was established with Billy responsible for all development, editorial content and ensuring a top-class production on screen, developing new ideas and emerging talent. Citizens of Boomtown is now available on the RTE player. The extraordinary story of Bob Geldof and The Boomtown Rats is told in this all-access 2 part series with special guests Bono, Sinead O'Connor, Sting and a host of others. https://www.rte.ie/player/series/citizens-of-boomtown/SI0000006786 #WeAreFni (https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/wearefni?source=feed_text&epa=HASHTAG&__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARBMUgXJgIcsKTIrWP0fmrgRnowPNax8yqxt8u7_XRsJYOAKdVFzwb-pLpUHnY6TQWF5LB1SbUP0_y1jahR36wIlhb-iJaRhGApsO0FhUqGOCgzGPxlm5VdjUa8pB7ROIT42xRzrskJ0XeIq4dXdGg2aS4wsl7BNffXqjdjZChw0lClxOeoCtUZ9UOanjFlZvjKRj5-iqKy-wy_QJnuti-pq1frpKaFrQHvPjXWStWuvgHPQL4n9NCaqEM-DNPP6kUGMa8rKL2TllB0KQ-gIZT_SRlhCEWJctgefQXsmJik9pjLaE8sRlVQ7WQtNj15-Lfv4p_M5s4Nw8PuT-OnmwDh4PQ&__tn__=%2ANK-R)

Today there’s SO much great stuff to choose from on television. It’s easy to take for granted how much hard work and thought goes in to creating the entertainment we see on our screens every single day and how accessible it all is. Since the 90’s and the rapid growth of cable television -- a dramatic shift from the traditional network programming we’d all been used to for decades -- to streaming content and binge watching we expect today -- the program makers, schedulers, marketers, and ad sales people have had to move with the times to survive while trying to predict the next trend. On this week’s BUCKiT podcast, I talk to television maverick, Nancy Daniels who is the Chief Brand Operator at Discovery. She oversees all creative and brand strategy, development, production, multiplatform, communications, marketing and day-to-day operations for Discovery Channel and Science Channel in the U.S. Daniels has quite the workload in a landscape that keeps changing and at such a fast pace. I met up with Nancy at The Realscreen Summit, a global market and conference for unscripted and non-fiction entertainment to talk about how Discovery, and the unscripted entertainment industry in general, has evolved dramatically from the 90’s with the exponential growth of cable, to the unchartered territory of streaming content.

The PGoT crew is comin' at ya hot with some (hopefully) better sounding quality this episode! It was a disaster to record so I hope you appreciate it. In the discussion of S1E6, "A Golden Crown", the cast can't stop talking about all the totally metal stuff that happens in this episode. Sansa turns Septa Mordane to dust. Khal Drogo has selective roasting related English abilities. Tyrion performs at the Apollo. All this, plus the strongest animal to ever live, on this episode of Postgame of Thrones! - This message has been approved by Ted Cruz.
As you can probably see from the length and title of this recording, there won't be a full episode this week! Blame the king. We'll be back next week to talk about S1E5, "The Wolf and the Lion".
